Review
Overall, this along with the spring kit, has improved the trigger pull weight and reduced take-up and length of pull. Still got a bit of slop in the side to side of the trigger but it’s better than the stick one. Not a fan of the set screw for the take-up adjustment and with the loctite (as instructed) in place I hope it is never an issue. For the price - I’m satisfied but would love to see slightly better improvements in the trigger slop side to side. This may be a Ruger issue however, so don’t fry me for those complaints. Quick shipping and good email updates.
Without this trigger in my opinion the max 9 is not dependable but with this trigger the max 9 is amazing. Get this trigger for your max 9 and I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Not to mention it looks amazing.
I bought just the trigger shoe without the springs. I wanted to maintain the same pull weight, but tighten up the action. Have to say that I am impressed. Trigger is very comfortable, breaks at 90, with good feel. Great improvement.
Big upgrade from the stock Max 9 Pro trigger. I was regretting purchasing the Max 9 because of the trigger but with the new MCARBO trigger I feel much better. Install was easy especially with their installation video.
Trigger is way better than curved stock one and less travel worth the work to do the install also did spring kit and polishing kit just follow video and pause a lot came out good
Great upgrade to the factory trigger. I have large-ish hands and fingers and really appreciate the extra room you get inside the trigger guard with the M-Carbo trigger. Side to side slop in the factory trigger is almost completely eliminated. The flat face allows your finger to naturally get into the correct orientation. The overtravel set screw is a little touchy to set up correctly. You may need to adjust it a little while at the range to get the feel that you want. The great thing is you CAN adjust the trigger travel. Bravo M-Carbo. ps. Don't forget to use red threadlocker on the set screw. pps. Be careful not to let any springs go flying across your shop when disassembling your Max9!
It really does shorten the stroke by quite a bit and allows you to adjust it so it's as short as possible while still allowing the gun to reset. Combined with the spring kit my Max9 now feels pretty darn close to my Sig P320's trigger. Definitely fixed the one issue I had with the gun.
