The old Model 60 now shoots like new. The recoil spring now allow me to shoot the newer high velocity rounds without buffer slam.

Great job M*Carbo!

This rifle was manufactured in 1982 when 22LR was in the 1000 fps range. With today's higher velocity ammo, the HV spring is a important upgrade. And the shipping was also very fast.

This spring is a must have to tighten up the bolt lock-up. My thought was it increased bolt lock thus increasing dwell time. I have yet to shoot a bad group with ammo this 22 likes.

The Model 60 is the riflel I learned how to shoot with around 1980, so I jumped at the chance to own one again when a nice one came along. I assembled my own parts kit consisting of the MCarbo trigger spring kit, e-clips, hyper velocity recoil spring and factory ejector spring. Thanks to the excellent and helpful Mcarbo videos, installation of any Mcarbo parts I have ever ordered has been easy and straightforward.

Everything seemed to come together upon reassembly, but when taking the rifle to the range, standard velocity ammunition was not cycling. Hyper-velocity was.

Came home, disassembled the rifle and discovered that the recoil spring guide had been bent upon installation of the hyper velocity spring. That's on me. So, take your time, be careful, and definitely compress the spring, on the guide rod, into the bolt on a vertical approach when installing. That should help you avoid kinking the spring or bending the guide rod as I did.

After straightening and reinstalling the guide rod, back to the range and the rifle is running like a sewing machine - spitting out everything I fed it from standard velocity 1070 ft per second and on up to 1255 fps. Recoil is noticeably lessened and the rifle no longer has the solid thump of the bolt hitting the recoil buffer. Rifle is shooting very well and I appreciate all the M carbo parts installed.

An additional thanks to M carbo for including Targets on the back of their packaging pieces. Photo attached is my Model 60, at 25 M with open sights, fired seated using the top of my forearm as a rest.

After fitting the MCARBO Trigger Spring Kit and Target Trigger to my Marlin 7000T (with great improvement!), I decided to add the Hyper Velocity Recoil Spring to protect the Recoil Buffer. Works perfectly well with Remington Golden Bullet, Winchester HV & CCI Mini Mag ammunition. Hopefully, it will safeguard the recoil buffer, as the previous one cracked through old age. Another great product from MCARBO!

I had a Model 60 Marlin with consistent light primer strikes due to the bolt not closing completely. A new factory spring didn't fix it but your Hyper Velocity Spring did the trick. Also I placed my order and it was in the mailbox 2 business days later. That's service! Thanks.

Decades ago, my grandfather gave me a Marlin Model 60 .22 cal. semiautomatic rifle. It has been so much fun to shoot, but I stopped taking the rife to the range a few years ago as it began to jam after every 4 or 5 rounds. I thought another deep cleaning of the bolt and receiver would help. But everything was pretty clean and already. With the gun even cleaner, I tried to reinstall the bolt and recoil spring. Doh!!! I bent the spring.

Fortunately, I was able to find this hypervelocity recoil spring from MCARBO. The spring is made of thicker material and is stronger than the factory original. To avoid wrecking the new spring, I carefully compressed the spring pretty much fully into the bolt as I reinserted the bolt and spring guide into the receiver. I tested the fix at the range yesterday by firing 50 rounds of high-velocity (1280 fps) 40 grain .22 cal. long rifle ammunition. There were no jams. By wrecking my old factory original spring, I discovered that I weak spring was the cause of the problems with the gun all along.

My first purchase from MCARBO, but will not be my last. The entire process of ordering on line was easy. I received email confirmation of my order and another email when it shipped that included tracking information. My part arrived in a timely manor. The spring, well its a spring, but its a quality spring. Its a part that I needed and MCARBO got me back to shooting!
