Was worth the wait, I love it. Enough said
Easy install with the accompanying video (Thank You!). Removing the stock striker once was all it took to convince me that the plastic sleeve had to go. This is an especially well engineered solution that is far superior to the stock assembly in both fit and function. Highly recommended!
Recently I built a X-Macro. I started with a performance works Gold TiN FCU, Sharps Bros Aluminum Grip Module, and a Norsso Piranha Bull Barrell and Slide set. Of course i had to source and install the slide completion parts. I choose to use the MCARBO striker, extractor and Trigger plus misc ISMI springs. Originally I had only installed the sriker, the supplied striker spring and the Edge Extractor kit. I used a factory SIG Striker Block kit. I also added a Trijicon RMRcc, as I am not a fan of Chineese made optics. I also added a NDZ Performance Guide Rod assembly.I had tested the trigger and striker combination, I was amazed at how much crisper and cleaner the trigger break was even with the SIG FCU Factory trigger. I did not modify any of the Factory FCU springs. I took it to the range and the Striker worked flawlessly with 50 rounds. I took the gun back home and proceeded with the Trigger Install. The resultant trigger pull weight is 3.75 Lbs when pulled along the losest point on the MCARBO trigger. The resulting trigger brake and reset are amazing. Back to the range and another 50 Rounds with flawless striker performace. The grips are from Burkett Customs and made from a 20,000 year old Woolly Mammoth Tooth. https://burkettcustoms.com/

This new striker assembly seems to be a very high quality product. I purchased it for my P365 XL that already has several modification improvements to make it my own. After watching MCarbo’s great installation video a couple of times I completed the easy peasy replacement in less than two minutes start to finish. While I did not actually measure the before and after trigger pull with a gauge, to my feel it seems like a smoother, bit less creepy pull, but it does seem a bit stronger pull is required. I already had the MCarbo short stroke trigger in my P365 XL. I definitely like the new assembly and cap. I haven’t taken it to my gun club yet, but will in a day or two to test fire several different types of rounds for reliability. If there are any problems I will update my review, but so far it’s great!
Update 12/03/2024. Installed the Mcarbo trigger and Mcarbo firing pin assembly in my Sig Fuse...I put 1,000 rounds of 115 grain Magtech through it and I did not experience a single issue, no misfires, no hang fires and no squibs..... I felt the dramatic difference in the trigger, it is a 180 degree difference from the stock sig trigger. I can not that the factory firing pin assembly started to mar after just to removals. The Mcarbo trigger, was a super easy instal. If you have questions about the fitment or compatibility of the Mcarbo in the fuse, ensure you call Mcarbo and they will tell you to look at the back end of your upper receiver to see if there is a machined cut out where the spring will go. I am overall pleased with this product.
Easy to install and improved how the trigger pull and reset on my Sig TAC OPS. I didn't use the firing pin spring that came installed on the Sig Sauer P365 Titanium Striker Assembly. But install the factory firing pin spring, this pistol is my EDC and I feel safe carrying it this way. When to to the shooting range and shot 150 rounds to have all the parts working together. A Great Titanium Striker Assembly!!!
Easy to install but have not been to the range yet
Installation was challenging because of sear spring capture, but once completed, I was intimately familiar with the internal workings of the P365. The trigger from the factory is adequate, but if you are want to improve the trigger this is the way to go. The takeup and reset are so much better than factory without compromising reliability or safety for an edc. Trigger weight at just over 4lbs.
After 2 months I finally have a great piece of engineering. P365XL with 2 yrs of EDC & 700+ rnds. After many stripdowns the OEM assembly is looking very ragged. The plastic is wearing & it doesn't fully seat in the slide anymore. The back cap is also sloppy. New assembly is top notch. I am a trade machinist and have to say they did a great in-house QA. All measurements were spot on. Firing pin extrusion was within .002 of OEM, and all edges were dressed. The satisfying snap of the rear cover really brought everything together. Trigger break doesn't feel different but is still crispy ( running MCarbo spring kit). Need to get some rounds downrange for a better assessment. Great job guys
After installing the striker assembly and backplate I went to put my gun back together, the slide wouldn’t go on as easily as with the factory backplate and striker. I don’t know if the safety lever is getting stuck on the backplate or the striker is getting stuck on the sear. From looking at it I am confident that it’s the backplate getting stuck on the safety lever but not 100% sure.
Really like being able to disassemble the firing pin to clean after firing at the range with out any trouble.
Super awesome product, easy to install, work’s amazing. Excellent quality, much better then what the gun came with from the factory.
