This striker felt so good I got it for both my 365x and shalotek xxl slides. Installed the strikers with the spring they came with. However after going to the range I noticed it worked flawlessly with factory ammo, but using reloads I was getting 20 to 40 percent light primer strikes. I put the OEM spring in both slides but kept the titanium striker. Went back to the range and no more issues with reloads. Trigger feels just a bit higher weight than with the lighter spring but not drastically. So if you reload and are having issues, try the OEM striker spring.
I just completed installation of the titanium striker assembly on my XL. I followed the instal video--well done by the way. Everything went just fine until I went to reassemble the gun it was stopped by the frame striker safety plunger (what releases the striker safety when trigger pulled). I had to dress the bottom of the retaining plate to gain enough clearance for a friction fit. After four tries I got the slide past the friction point. Did a function check and passed. Will get to the range soon to test fire. It may be that I have the fire control unit mounted in a Wilson Combat grip module. That may have been the cause of the clearance issue.
I never had even one light strike on my EDC P365XL until I replaced striker with new Ti kit. I own three versions of that pistol and have installed lots of Mcarbo kits and parts on several different brands of firearms. Always loved the results. This problem doesn't happen with premium ammo, only with less expensive range ammo. I swapped slides with another P365 and the problem traveled with the swap meaning its in that new striker. I disassembled, cleaned, lubed and inspected and saw nothing. I shoot every weekend and like the XL the best, so I run a lot thru it. Maybe I'll just install the OEM spring,,,,
I never had light primer strikes with my factory striker and spring. I have always taken my reloads to the range and the p365 would chew through it no problem until I put this pin in. I thought maybe my reloads are to blame but my buddy chew through them in 2 different pistols.. sorry I'm not trusting my life on this pin.
A couple hundred rounds in. A few types of ammo, so far flawless. It feels great and is higher quality that factory oem. No more plastic housing.
Striker block moves past the safety stop after firing. Waiting for the armor to respond. Customer service was rude as hell and couldn't provide a time estimate meanwhile they hold a 30 day return policy. Waiting to hear back.
Hands down the striker assembly is well worth the upgrade I would recommend it if you are into improving a well rounded fire arm even more the quality is superb and the craftsmanship was superb too off the top I noticed a difference in the smoothness and knowing I can disassemble with more ease without damaging the housing is what I was looking for exactly it’s a part that truly pays for itself in the long run thank you to all the folks at Mcarbo for top quality work and business I will definitely be looking forward to seeing more products I can get from you guys
So disappointed. We had previously ordered the stainless striker assembly so decided to get 2 more for our other 365s, however when we went to install the parts there is no textured slide cap in either kit!? Super disappointed in the the QC!
I have an FDEZ xl slide. (Not the best company). So take this with a grain of salt. I was getting a lot of light primer strikes. About 1-2 in 10. But the feel of the trigger is awesome now. It completely changes how it breaks and takes most if not all the creep out! I put the stock spring in and I’m going to further test it. It may be fine in a stock set up. But for me I hope the stock spring fixes the striker. Quality is impeccable though good job.
This P365 already has the flat trigger update kit in it and I was hoping this would decrease the trigger pull weight a little more. However, if anything it increased it slightly. So, to me, the only advantage is in ease of cleaning the striker channel.
This striker kit makes disassembly super quick and easy compared to the stock backplate and striker. The titanium striker housing is also more durable than the stock plstic one. The plastic one will be deformed after 1 time taking your gun apart, and it's a pain to get the original backplate off. The new one you just use a punch and its off in about 10 seconds, no damage. Not sure why sig made a part so easy to be damaged, but this kit will solve that problem completely.
This is a Great up-grade! easy install and definitely an up-grade well worth the money. I definitely recommend this to any P365 owner you will not be sorry. Great job my Brothers........
Great product, easy install, works great, great improvement to my pistol.
Installation was a breeze. Function is perfect ! Went to the range to put some rounds downrange in my carry gun, and this new striker performed flawlessly !! Great addition. And during the replacement process, finding out about the plastic piece of the striker assembly, well, let's just say that I am happy to have installed something much more durable. Thank You M*Carbo !!!
