Im glad we have you guys to get the parts necessary at an affordable price to get this carbine up to par thanks a million u have my business from here on out 5 stars
The oem trigger on the Sub 2000 can feel sharp around the bottom edge and overall feels small. This MCARBO replacement trigger is nice upgrade however it too feels a little too short. I find my finger is pulling on the bottom of the trigger curve sometimes. Overall its a nice trigger replacement.
This is a great addition to the spring kit. Great improvement over factory trigger.
Very well made with a much better feel than the factory plastic one.
Much better feel than factory trigger. Goes hand in hand with spring kit.
I purchased 4 items for a new gen 2 9mm sub 2000. Trigger, trigger spring set, single point sling & charging handle cover. I'm very glad I did, it's Not the same as the factory but Much better !
Ordered spring kit and trigger. Got here really fast, within a few days of ordering. Already installed with no problems, and trigger feels 100% better. For those worried about taking the sub2k apart, don't. IT'S a piece of cake, just follow there YouTube videos. Only thing I did different was I didn't use a hammer/punch for the takedown pin, it will come out pretty easy by pressing in on the the end piece/buffer and I used a strap wrench to remove the endplate. Haven't taken it to the range yet but the trigger pull is a Night and day difference. And the trigger itself is very nice, very well made, huge improvement over the factory plastic trigger. So far very happy. Thanks
Installed the Kel-Tec Spring Kit, the Trigger guard, and Trigger. Thank you for having an instruction video on YouTube, I don't think I could have done the installation with out it.
Gets rid of the trigger flex, a must have.
Quality trigger that replaced the cheap factory plastic trigger. Love this trigger
I've bought several upgrades for my Sub 2k for MCARBO before. The quality and craftsmanship is what keeps me coming back for more. I love what you guys are doing for the Sub 2k and other firearms. My reasoning for replacing the trigger and trigger guard were simple. Those are both points on the firearm that are manipulated the most. With them being plastic parts. Eventually they will break. I just wouldn't want that to happen during training or any type of stressful situation. I'd rather be proactive then reactive. The parts are very well machined and installed easily. Ill probably be back a some point for the stainless steel feed ramp. Ive damn near already bought all the other upgrades already.
After living with the stock trigger for 200 rounds, I ordered the McCarbo trigger. Wow, what a difference. I also installed their spring kit and it made it much easier for my arthritic hands to operate. Thanks from a Vietnam Vet. '72-'73
I focused on my pre-upgraded trigger, then tested again post-upgrade. Wow. The plastic trigger got to the back of the pull, THEN flexed another 16th of an inch. Pure mush. This trigger is very high quality, and feels so much more solid. Good for long-term reliability/use, too.
Removes all trigger flex. Worth every penny!
Not exactly a simple install. It is however, worth the effort. Had some slop with the old guard when locking in firing position. Some wobble and a bit of play. MCarbo guard fixed all of it. Locks up tight with no play and feels stronger and works effortlessly. Very happy with this true upgrade.
Well made. I did the full MCarbo trigger job with springs, ram et all. It's a different gun now. I loved it before the upgrade, now it's my favorite gun. It's a gen 1 from 2013 with well over 10K rounds through it, and I can say trigger pull is crisp, breaks predictably, a lot lighter. I didn't do the mag release and trigger guard because I ran out spending money, but they are next on my list. The upgrades made me a new gun. Thanks MCarbo. I am a fan now.
