I’ve bought and installed 2 of these triggers so far. One on a P365XL and the other on a P365. This trigger is a total game changer. There’s much more room for your finger inside the trigger guard, much less travel and along with the trigger spring kit from Mcarbo the combination is fantastic! Can’t say enough about it! Keep up the great work guys!
Installed the trigger and ran a couple hundred rounds thru the gun already and it performed flawlessly. Took care of most of the pre travel the stock trigger has while giving me that hard wall and crisp break. Also created more room for my finger as I have larger hands.
…the new trigger influences the trigger bar in such a way as to raise the safety lever above the plane of the frame, refusing the reattachment of the slide. However, this appears to be an issue related to the machining of one or more of the pieces involved, as this issue is not experienced by all 365 owners. I installed this trigger along with the trigger spring replacement kit, and, aside from the safety lever issue, I am very satisfied with the results. Shooting is such a dream now, I lost myself at the range and performed a mag dump, just for the pure enjoyment of it. Totally worth the scolding I received for breaching range rules on rapid fire. But I couldn’t help it. These upgrades turned a solid shooter into a slick machine that is much more easily controlled during the firing process. And the reset? Slicker than cum on a gold tooth…can I say that..? Well, you get the picture. I highly recommend this trigger, but I cannot recommend how to deal with any issues with the safety lever. That’s your own prerogative, but don’t expect Sig to help. Had to take a star for the safety lever issue.
I have a P365xl which is made slightly different than the regular 365 in a few important ways. Firstly, when putting the trigger in and attempting to reassemble, it appears the geometry of the trigger is off just enough so that it won't simply allow for the typical reassembly as shown in the instructional video. After much struggling I was able to figure out a way to get everything in there but it was not super obvious. The next problem came when I went to put the slide back on. Because the trigger is angled more forward than the standard, the back plate would catch on the slide catch lever, which I could not depress enough anymore due to the trigger. I eventually just filed a little bit of the corner of the back plate and eventually got it back on there. So there seems to be something up with the geometry of the trigger that doesn't jive with the xl version. Once on, the trigger felt and worked great. It fixes one of the main issues I had with the stock trigger, that forward angle that made finger placement feel awkward. It also pulls much better and the reset is very crisp, unlike the stock trigger which has a reset you can't even feel. This all allows for faster shooting and greater accuracg due to reducing the movement your finger needs to go through.
I was a bit skeptical at first. The install is a bit tricky but if you follow their installation video you can get it done. The first pull was not impressive but after about 100 or so dry fires this trigger is amazing! I did the springs and trigger at the same time and it’s well worth the upgrade. I would but it again any day!
I installed the M Carbo trigger shoe, only, no springs. Really nice upgrade, better more consistent finger placement, decreased trigger travel. A little tricky getting it installed but through videos, made it easy enough. Wish they had more colors to choose from.
I was really hesitant to tear in the FCU to install this trigger. But after watching the installation video, I was confident that I could do it. So I ordered it & followed the video step-by-step. It's rare to get instructions this detailed. The angle of the trigger is much better. I also really like the overtravel stop. I included the spring kit with my purchase & it really is much better than OEM. I'm very happy with my purchase.
This trigger is a lot better than the stock I recommend! Feels great easier for a clean trigger pull less reset faster shooting! The only thing is it pulls the trigger bar forward more and had to work around the safety sear sticking up a hair! Couldn’t get the slide back on but figured it out after shooting you shouldn’t have that problem anymore otherwise very satisfied…
I purchased an Sig 365 for my EDC. While shooting with a friend who carries a custom Kimber fired his weapon then my Sig. I was depressed. The typical striker fired pistol does not have a smooth steady pull like a custom 1911 style pistol. I looked at new pistols but them saw an ad for MCARBO. I purchased the trigger, spring kit, and titanium striker with the stainless steel bushing and upgraded back plate. I installed the parts and honed the sear and headed to the range. The upgrade felt great. Nice crisp trigger pull with hardly any creep and no over travel. I noticed that my shot group for 20 rounds was tighter than my friends 10 shot groups from his custom Kimber. I shot several rounds then tried his Kimber again. Then I went back to shooting my upgraded Sig. I was so happy with the upgrades. I am glad I went with MCARBO instead of buying a new pistol. The improvement was tremendous. My friend who is a former SWAT sniper tried my upgraded MCARBO Sig and shot better with it than with his own Kimber. Well worth the price and the results were fantastic.
The new trigger is obviously a high quality part. The installation wasn't too difficult and had it completed in about an hour and a half. I put about 200 rounds through the pistol after the installation and could notice the improved trigger feel. Looking forward to a striker upgrade kit from MCARBO.
Does everything that it promises, reducing pre-travel, reducing overtravel, improving (though this is subjective) the feel of the trigger on the 365 considerably, and giving you a little bit more room for winter gloves. Note the installation is a bit trickier than most modular FCU firearms I've worked with, but that's going to be the same even if you were putting in an OEM trigger, and the installation videos are excellent. Well worth the money.
The first thing I do when I get or build a new firearm is drop in a straight/upgraded trigger. Although my X Macro Comp came with a straight trigger, I still wanted an improvement over OEM and definitely got it with this one. Love the adjustment capability, and I always like "less is more" as far as it has everything you need and nothing you do not. Also added the spring kit after the trigger, and if I could do it all over again, I would get them at the same time.
Works as advertised. Install video is great. But my gunsmithing failed: my older eyes must have got more than 2 threads showing on Allen screw because gun wouldn't dry fire. Wasn't sure I had assembled FCU properly, so tried to uninstall Mcarbo trigger, but 1/16" punch didn't fit in hole to remove pin. Finally found a small paper clip that fit and easily pushed pin out (small Allen wrench works too). The problem is the 1/16" hole not drilled through on Mcarbo trigger. Replacement trigger had same problem, but functioned as advertised, so keeping. FYI: check 1/16" hole on Mcarbo trigger, before install. Adjusted Allen screw to get successful dry fire. Great trigger!
Great product. I have converted two P365X models including the spring kit and titanium striker kit. In both cases I experienced over 40% reduction in trigger pull weight and a much shorter, well defined reset. The new and improved slide cap that comes with the striker kit is awesome. A real lifesaver! The video was very helpful; however, I do have two recommendations. First, the video should show a better representation of the correct position of the take down lever safety bar pin. The final position into which it is supposed to be rotated is not clearly shown. Second, a reference to you video that shows how to remove and replace the manual safety would be helpful. I wound up searching the internet for instructions, not realizing that you had a video available.
I replaced the MIM stock P365 flat trigger with this MCarbo trigger. Its well worth the extra cost: more room in front, less creep, solid wall at 90, and good break at 5 o'clock just like the video shows. This trigger and the MCarbo spring kit make for an excellent action on the 365.
I placed an order over a week ago for the short stroke trigger for my P365 in red. I emailed the company about it because I still have yet to receive a confirmation / tracking number about it being sent out, they supposedly say they are the fastest at shipping out orders. It took them a couple days to even get back to me about it and when they did they said it was on back order, when I put in my order it said nothing about it being on back order. Now even emailing them it takes a while for them to get back to me. I would not recommend ordering from this company. Still to this day I haven’t received anything about my order being sent out.
