Was shopping around for a good flat trigger and had settled on a different maker but before I had purchased M*CARBO finally made this trigger which I think looks sleek and not as bulky as the one I was about to purchase. So I purchased the trigger hoping it would shorten the pre travel and it didn’t let me down. Had already installed the spring kit and was nervous about messing up what I thought was perfection. Was totally and pleasantly surprised with the result of the trigger. If you like the feel of knowing when you’ve hit the wall and with a much shorter pull and reset than get the full kit with trigger and springs. You won’t be disappointed.
Let me say up front that I have purchased many items from M*Carbo, in particular, upgrades to my PC carbine and have found all of the products and installation videos to be top notch. I purchased the flat trigger from M*Carbo versus the Sig trigger based on that history and the fact that the trigger was not plastic. The installation video was pretty good although I did have some issues when it came to reinstalling the sear spring, which was my bad as I didn't realize it was an upgraded spring hence the different look. Also the sear itself appeared slightly different than mine but again not an M*Carbo issue. I was slow and methodical with the process and all went well until the very end. This is where I feel some clarification could have been used. After completing the installation I found that the slide would not go back on due to the safety lever raised slightly above the rail. I assumed that I had missed a step and proceeded to disassemble back to see what was wrong. After many attempts I did some Google searches and found out that I was not alone on this. Apparently some do and some don't have this issue. I chose to lightly file the back plate as others have done and it worked fine. I did contact customer support the following day and was advised to remove the back plate, reinstall slide and then work it back and forth to fit the parts. I'm not sure I could have done that as it stuck up a fair amount. This is not a criticism but more of a suggestion to include that information up front. As for the trigger, I did a range day and found it to be a nice upgrade.
Installed the flat trigger and the spring kit. Easy after watching the YouTube install videos. Lighter much smoother trigger pull. Great quality products!Fast service great help from the mcarbo team. Will buy from them again for sure.
The trigger was a very easy install. I also changed the trigger spring and slide safety spring. I went from 4 lbs to 3 1/4 lbs. The trigger reset is very short and works very well.
This trigger does not fit newer FCU's, mine was purchased 02/24. I sent an email about the issue to MCARBO (can't reach them on the phone) and was told that they were very close to finishing a production batch that will resolve the issue, as well as the compatibility with California compliant pistols. So this is a know issue. But didn't offer to refund, replace the trigger or swap it out once the new batch was available. So I'm stuck with a new trigger in the box that does me absolutely no good and the dreaded Sig MIM trigger that Chris Nelson highlights how awful it is in the flat trigger install video. Was also told that Sig Saber is constantly changing parts/tolerances and that eventually affects the MCARBO parts. I agree that this was probably a tolerance issue. But the lack of customer service and commitment to the product left a very bad taste in my mouth. To top it off, I'm a veteran and to have a veteran own company say thank you this way is very discouraging. I just wish there were companies that would stand behind their products and do the right thing! It would be great to have someone at MCARBO take an interest in this to correct the wrong. My Order Number is 645264, just saying, be a standup company.
Short throw trigger have to say very disappointing seems like a nice product until you try and put it in doesn’t fit well at all compared to the factory or my armor craft I don’t know if mine is just miss made or what very difficult to get to take down lever back in have to remove the pin holding the trigger and insert it then slide the pin back in fit is very poor as for the function is great install really sucks compared to competitors
After adding the MCarbo spring kit I also added this new trigger, WOW is an understatement, very smooth and puts you back on target super fast
The Mcarbo 365 trigger has no equal! I am extremely pleased with this product. This as all of the products I have used from Mcarbo always exceed expectations!
I installed trigger spring kit, and short stroke flat trigger, the sig was very impressive right out of the box and with these upgraded parts it shoots even better more accurate, in my opinion manufacture should put flat triggers in every gun. Very Impressive couldn't be Happer
Finally got a chance to install this trigger on my 365XL and it did everything M*CARBO said it would do. I compared it to my Gray Guns trigger on my regular 365 and it still beat it. Great company, great products, love it! Rob
Fantastic trigger upgrade, makes a nice little gun an excellent firearm. The videos for installation are absolutely fantastic and easy to follow. Trigger pull went from 8 lbs to 4 lbs on a brand new gun with only 20 rounds thru it, with the trigger and spring kit. The feel of the flat trigger is great also. I am very happy with this upgrade installed on my pistol If you change the striker spring make sure you have your hands and the striker are in a clear plastic bag cause the retainer clips will fly away, they are very small and plastic never to be seen again. You will have to call Sig Sauer customer service to order them.
Got both spring and trigger kit for a Sig P365XL. I recommend watching the video “Sig Sauer P365 CNC Machined Short Stroke Flat Trigger - Sig P365 Trigger Upgrade M*CARBO”, shows installation of both the trigger and spring kit at the same time. After 150 target rounds, and 20 defense rounds, the new M*Carbo trigger was day and night. The OME flat trigger was gritty, sticky, and long. The M*Carbo trigger was smooth, even, and crisp, a 100% improvement. The Trigger spring kit defiantly gives a noticeable lighter pull, a must up-grade for all Sig P365 shooters.
Love the feel of this trigger. I upgraded the oem springs with the Mcarbo lighter springs along with the short stroke trigger and the titanium striker with 3 lb striker spring. Just added the recently available Striker Housing CNC Stainless Steel Assembly w/ Slide Cap - Including Proprietary Lock. Pretty sweet lb. Trigger on this p365x after the upgrades from Mcarbo. Very pleased indeed. See photo's
My order number is 560957. Absolute must have upgrade for the P365. I used Mcarbo’s installation service for polishing, installation of their spring kit, titanium striker and Short Stroke Trigger. The OEM curve trigger did not fit my hand and changed to an AC slightly curved trigger. It fit better, but there was no adjustment to the take-up or reset. The Mcarbo trigger solved all this and it makes the P365 even more fun to shoot. Excellent work making the P365 even greater.
