Well … this is my 2nd MCARBO product (out of many, I must say) that was a bit frustrating with respect to instructions and thought that went into the release. I bought the P365 trigger spring and flat trigger together and tried to install them at the same time. The only video Chris had was for the trigger spring kit, mentioning that if we wanted a new trigger, let him know. So, my gun was down for a week and a half, as I worked through assy issues and tried to get responses out of MCARBO. Bottom line, the MCARBO trigger has different dimensions from the original Sig P365 trigger that doesn’t allow you to re-assemble the parts in the order you disassembled per Chris’s video. An installed MCARBO flat trigger prevents you from re-installing the disconnector and take down lever without pulling the pin in the trigger releasing it to make additional clearance. This also ends up making you change the order that you put it back together, assuring you have access to the trigger pin. Bottom line, it was a frustrating experience. I believe MCARBO needs to get back to going through their dis-assembly-re-assembly process a few times internally before releasing to the public. Now granted the trigger was an afterthought and released later, but still … if they would have taken the time to combine the dis-assy/re-assy when they released the trigger, they would have figured out the issues and could have either re-done the video or added an addendum. That’s what MCARBO has always been known for, so let’s get back to the basics guys and take the time to do it right. We love you, but staring to lose confidence. BTW … got a pretty significant trigger pull reduction with this one! Haven’t shot yet, but the pull numbers look good!
Flat trigger and spring upgrade. Worth the money changed the look and feel of my gun tremendously. Will definitely be doing more business with mcarbo in the future
Great trigger mod when combined with spring kit , trigger pull and resets does drop as mentioned and watch the videos on how to install very easy everything falls in to place and plus side let’s you learn how everything works in the fcu.
This trigger is everything they say about it. Very short stroke, no over travel.Better than any trigger I have ever had on any pistol. Better price than other trigger on the market. You will love lt buy one now.
I previously installed the spring kit which reduced the trigger from 7+ lbs to 4 1/2 lbs after a few hundred rounds. I installed the backordered trigger which reduced the trigger a few ounces more. Installation video is very complete. I have no experience and was able to do it on first attempt. The parts are small so some tasks require a few attempts but no big deal After shooting my gun my friends ordered both. The increased accuracy and consistency is amazing. Wonderful upgrade
Had a little trouble with getting the slide release pin. But eventually got it . Seems to function properly. I definitely love the look and feel.
Great improvement over the stock flat trigger. Along with the spring kit, it really makes this gun fun to shoot.
Instalation seams alot Harder than it really is. Crisp smooth pulls
Thank you m-carbo for making this trigger. I hated the spongy sig trigger it came with. Between the upgraded sear spring and the trigger it took all the sponge out and less take up to find the reset. Now my favorite every day carry is awesome. Your 1.09 hour video is very good. I took my time and still made a ton of mistakes but after taking it a part over and over again I now know more than most when it comes to the fcu and take down. I may even challenge myself to do it blind folded. Just kidding. Thanks again
Switched out the trigger and spring on Sig p365 x macro with MCarbo trigger and spring kit. Amazing difference, mcarbo trigger has smooth short take up, and defined wall on follow up pull. Love the trigger, going to switch out the triggers on all of my pistols to Mcarbo. Amazing trigger, huge difference, you are missing out if you don't switch to Mcarbo.
I purchased and installed this trigger, finish of the CNC machined trigger was excellent. Install of the trigger and spring kit was easy and went as expected. First impressions are it meets and exceeds what MCarbo has said this trigger would do, crisp short trigger with a constant weight of 2.2 to 2.5 lbs. The reset is short and audible, over all an excellent trigger. Thanks guys, another great product.
Recently I built a X-Macro. I started with a performance works Gold TiN FCU, Sharps Bros Aluminum Grip Module, and a Norsso Piranha Bull Barrell and Slide set. Of course, i had to source and install the slide completion parts. I choose to use the MCARBO striker, extractor and Trigger plus misc ISMI springs. Originally, I had only installed the striker, the supplied striker spring and the Edge Extractor kit. I used a factory SIG Striker Block kit. I added a Trijicon RMRcc, as I am not a fan of Chinese made optics. I also added a NDZ Performance Guide Rod assembly. I had dry fire tested the trigger and striker combination; I was amazed at how much crisper and cleaner the trigger break was even with the SIG FCU Factory trigger. took it to the range and the Striker worked flawlessly with 50 rounds. I took the gun back home and proceeded with the Trigger Install. I did not modify any of the Factory FCU springs. The resultant trigger pull weight is 3.75 Lbs. when pulled along the lowest point on the MCARBO trigger. The resulting trigger brake and reset are amazing. Back to the range and another 50 Rounds with flawless striker performance. The grips are from Burkett Customs and made from a 20,000-year-old Woolly Mammoth Tooth. https://burkettcustoms.com/
This trigger really makes the p365 an ultimate cc pistol. The pull is smooth and the the reset is so very crisp. Fantastic addition to the Sig. I’m very happy with this high quality product.
Fairly straightforward installation. Trigger travel and over-travel are reduced. It was a very good little pistol before, but the new trigger helps wring out maximum performance.
Like I said the last time 2 weeks ago. I still haven’t received the trigger. I keep getting this Email to review this Item over and over.
