I installed the trigger spring kit a couple months ago. Outstanding like other parts I have installed. I was very disappointed there is no video or instructions how to use the template that comes with the trigger along with how to adjust the over-travel screw. MCarbo will eventually have a video so I’m just going to wait for it.
I installed the trigger spring kit and ss sticker sleeve along with the MCarbo flat mod 2 trigger upgrade. Great product, great results. The trigger pull on my Hellcat RDP was gritty with a decent pull weight of 4#6oz. After the install, (along with some deep cleaning), the trigger was much smoother and lighter. 3#5.6oz. Good product! HOWEVER!!! The video is for a model without a thumb safety. If you choose to upgrade a model with a thumb safety, be very careful. There is a very small spring and chevron shaped detent on the left side that could easily be lost. The video does not cover this.

Love my Hellcat, but the stock trigger bit the bottom of my finger upon recoil. So after a couple range trips I bought a Hyve Monarch trigger for it, which was nice and crisp but bit the bottom of my finger worse than the original stock trigger due to it having such sharp edges. So I decided I was going to either try the Apex trigger or this MCARBO trigger in one more attempt since both of them appeared like they would be more comfortable. Went with the MCARBO because I like the ability to adjust the pre-set take-up, and I like the all metal design of the trigger and the safety blade. As long as you have a small/appropriately sized roll pin punch, installation isn't difficult and literally takes less than ten minutes. And setting take-up by using the included jig was perfect. Before this trigger I didn't particularly enjoy shooting the Hellcat since it pinched my finger, but this MCARBO trigger is great!
Received parts in an exceptional time frame, approx three to four days. Installation was fairly easy consider4ing i have no experience in doing this. The process wen slow for me as i have zero experience doing this and i took my time to do it right bur the videos on the web site walked me right through it. The parts lessened the trigger pull and the creep of the trigger quite a lot. Haven’t been to the range yet but am going his week. Overall experience was excellent, parts were outstanding, and follow up is quite good considering i didn’t expect this. I gave them a 5.0 in all areas. Pleasure to do business with this company and going to continue to do more.
This is my third purchase from Mcarbo and all have exceeded my expectations. this trigger and spring kit once installed is smooth as glass and brought my factory 8pound trigger to a nice crisp and safe 5 pound trigger pull with no grit. I too wish they had an install video for the trigger, but if you watch the spring install then read the reviews the install is quite simple. Be sure to use the blue loctite after adjusting the trigger as it will creep out of adjustment fast when firing live rounds and the trigger group will have to be removed to readjust the take up again. All that said it really is all you need to do to make a solid Hellcat a great hellcat a daily reliable carry tool.
Well done MCarbo! I used the striker sleeve video along with a review on this page that helped set the take up to 3 turns. Test firing, I shot with greater speed and accuracy.
i should have ordered two of these!!! this was an easy install with maximum benefit. best money ive spent on my hellcat (coued with the striker sleeve /spring kit.
I replaced my stock trigger with this one when I installed the spring kit. I like that I was able to change how much pretravel there was and I like having a metal trigger.
I purchased the Springfield Hellcat as a CCW, which means it is also my truck gun a good portion of the time. I really didn't want to invest much in upgrades for the Hellcat, but the factory plastic trigger caused me some concern. It performed just fine out of the box, but I still wanted to upgrade to a trigger I would feel confident in using. The M-Carbo trigger was easy to install, has a crisp break, and almost no over-travel. I would recommend it to any Hellcat owner.
The Metal Trigger in combination with the SS Striker Sleeve that's contained within the Spring Kit creates a solid trigger wall before the break. Feels much nicer than the plastic trigger, having a nice flat face. I'd buy it again.
M-CARBO, you guys rock! This Mod 2 trigger was very easy to install as with all your video's.
I like the trigger, especially the take-up adjustment, but wish there were instructions available for dissassembly/install without searching other sites.
Not too hard to install, but it would be nice if some written instructions were included, which would save some time researching to verify installation and function.
