I never really cared for the plastic trigger on my hellcat from the factory. This aluminum trigger from MCARBO has the right feel to it. Added to the spring and striker sleeve kit is a great combo. Good job to all at MCARBO!
I bought the trigger for my Hellcat RDP and so far I like it. Looks and feels well made, I like that you can adjust the pre-travel and it feels better than the Apex trigger.
The Mcarbo hellcat trigger is awesome, I have the pretravel adjusted just before the wall. I paired this with prp springkit. perfect carry weight. I am thinking about adding the Mcarbo striker assembley.
Recently added this trigger to the already installed spring kit from MCarbo and LOVE the results! This trigger doesn't have the "catch" issue that the factory trigger has at times. Fit and finish are impeccable.
Easy to install and was a quality upgrade to my Hellcat. Only complaint was no video or word doc to explain the over-travel screw, so I did not install it. Did receive an email a couple of days afterwards, but the links do not work, just opens HTML code. Read reviews and will install it another day and another trip to the range...
Works great. Shorten the pre travel.
The M Carbo hellcat trigger replacement is a great product at a very good price. The video they have on how to replace it makes it easy. Huge upgrade over stock. Fast shipping and quality product. Great company run by vets.
By just looking you can't tell this from the factory trigger but this one is made from metal. Very simple installation and works perfectly. This trigger kit reduced the take up by half or maybe 2/3rds. I couldn't ask for more especially at this price point. Well done MCarbo!
Anyone with a Hellcat needs the Springfield Hellcat Trigger Spring Kit & Stainless Steel Striker Sleeve and thr trigger. All I can say is WOW
Love the size of my Hellcat Pro but did not like the trigger. Bought the trigger and spring kit and after installing it, wow what a difference! Great product at a good price point and worth every penny.
Installed on my hellcat love the difference
Do you hellcat trigger replacement from M CARBO is great. The adjustment feature and the included holding piece makes it really easy. Travel length is greatly reduced from the stock trigger. Crisp clean break with a short reset. A great improvement for the hellcat. You won’t be disappointed.
Superb!
I had already installed the trigger spring kit and it was awesome. Smooth and consistently easy pull. I added the trigger replacement and that made it feel so much better. You guys do a great job on your products along with great pricing and quick ship it’s a true winner.
Much better feel then the stock plastic trigger. Great customer service also.
I installed a couple of Hellcat triggers and springs. T Overall it was an easy install if you use the Trigger Spring video as a reference. Tested the pistols and he pistols went from 6+ lb trigger to 4 lb trigger pull. Accuracy improved cause the trigger is smoother and lighter with less take up. There are a lot of people that don't know how to install the trigger and adjust, so follow these steps. You need a bench block, set of pin punches, roll punches, and small hammer to make the job easier. Disassemble trigger assembly per video. Remove the old trigger from trigger bar by punching out roll pin with roll pin punch. Replace new trigger and use the supplied roll pin. This is hard to do, so start the roll pin by lightly tapping it in, then use a 3/32 punch to align hole in trigger and hole in trigger bar, then tap in roll pin until flush. Install the take up adjustment set screw until flush with surface of trigger, then turn in 3 full turns. Add a drop of purple thread locker so set screw will remain solid after adjustment. Put trigger assembly back together per trigger spring video and assemble slide stop. Trigger should function fine with pull and reset. You will still have about 1/8" of take up and that is about as good as it gets before trigger is too far back and doesn't work properly. Test trigger pull to make sure it is not too tight or the trigger safety lever will not operate and trigger can pull without pushing in trigger lever safety. In my testing, this happened with the set screw tightened in about 3.5 to 4 turns in, so you can experiment to get it just right, but you will have to disassemble trigger assembly each time to make the adjustment. Don't worry, I did it about 8 times on the two pistols to get mine just right and it is easier each time. It was worth it.
