Excellent upgrade to standard trigger, mcarbo video on installation is Fantastic
There's no getting around the fact that this German designed gun has some quirky design features that make gun smithing at times a complicated, precision-driven production. But the on-line videos are great and the end result is worth it - over a pound taken off the trigger pull and much nicer trigger pull. It took over an hour but was well worth it.
Purchased the VP9 spring kit to see if it would improve what was already a great trigger. Definitely felt lighter to shoot and helped hold follow up shots and the shot group to a 2 1/2" grouping. Something I was never able to do with the heavier stock trigger. I would recommend this kit for any VP9 owners and for the price, it's a great upgrade! Charlie V
If you think your HK VP9sk Trigger is Awesome, wait until you do the Mcarbo trigger spring kit ! Now after have my gun Smith install the springs….. now it’s trigger to talk about!
I posted about a weak spring. My gun shop just called and said it is corrected, stating the cause was because he did not have it set right. Phew!
Was kind disappointed, trigger pull reduced only by Less than 1 lb. after replacing both springs. From 5.5 to 4.7. had problem with trigger return, called to customer support, was asked to send video and pictures, after no response 3 days later call again, was promised respond in 24 hr. ( Friday), still waiting, Monday. My Beretta 92 was much, much better improvement with springs replacement.
So while looking at the Lazy Wolf Guns trigger I was lead here by their recommendation of buying this kit instead of the HK Parts kit. To be honest the MCARBO installation video is what convinced me to buy the LWG trigger as this was my first trigger swap and the extra cost of the gunsmith to install was a negative budget wise. Fast shipping even in this plandemic. The video is super helpful and the way its segregated into the different sections makes is super easy to follow and keep your place should you have to jump back and forth. Like I said above, this was my first trigger swap, watched the video and had no problems. Great job yall keep up the great work. Thanks
