Nice fit and finished. I used a wooden dowel between barrel and recoil spring to aid installation.
To an average person, one wouldn’t think that the factory CZ75 guide rod is an issue. However, if you compare it to M*Caron’s guide rod; it’s a night and day difference. It’s noticeable in performance. Definitely worth the upgrade.
Get this rod. Made a difference for both my gun and my brother's CZ gun.
The guide rod is beautifully machined without burrs or machining marks with a mirror like polish. It was a little more cumbersome to install using the factory, flat wire spring - just requiring a couple more seconds of patience to prevent binding but not the impossibility that some reviews have so to eluded. Functioned just fine with the flat wire spring. I did, however, upgrade to the round wire extra power spring as well, and that made a huge difference in reducing muzzle flip; getting back on target; and keeping all of my brass at five to six feet from my shooting position. I shot 124gr WIN 9mm NATO @ 1200fbs, 115gr FIOCCH 9mm @ 1200fps, and Speer GOLD DOT 124gr @ 1235fps. It was a little harder to install from a tension standpoint due to the extra four pounds and extra length but otherwise smoother than keeping the flat wire spring from binding. My guess is that's why the factory guide rod is made out of a more flexible DELRIN material, so that it will flex with the flat wire spring as well as to navigate the unusually long dust cover / guide rod seat at the bottom of the slide. In conclusion: a seamless upgrade with the factory, flat wire spring with better aesthetics, and a performance and accuracy upgrade combined with the extra power M*CARBO round wire spring. The reduced diameter in the center third of the guide rod was a very unique, engineering solution to the potential binding issues mentioned above. Well done M*CARBO!
My girl recently picked up a CZ, she loves that damn thing more than me! But can’t say I blame her, this guide rod was the perfect, got here to California fast too! She was impressed with the slide function after that, thank you for making it possible!

A well made Stainless Steel Guide rod. I bought the extra power recoil spring too. I am very happy. I took my SP01 and put about 300 rounds in it with no issues. I double tapped, mag dumped and rapid fired with no issues! It does take a little fiddling to put the guide rod in as their is no flex like the plastic guide rods. I would buy it again in a heartbeat!
the item is great & i would be happy but ordered on 2/24/21 but didnt recieve till 3/15/21 because they never shipped first order, then lied when to me when i called. they said it was shipped but tracking cleary showed it hadn't been. then promised to ship another that day but failed to do that either. after 3-calls & a e-mail they finally shipped! great part but customer service needs to have a recap on how to not lye to customers, i didnt appreciate that at all. man up & say you dropped the ball! take the "FAST SHIPPING" down off of the sight!

I recently purchased a CZ SP01 and I wanted to replace the factory plastic guide rod. I received my item super fast (within a few days) after I placed my order.
