Nice spring set. Not difficult to install. If you have the Manual Safety, you will need to know how to remove the manual safety in order to install the spring kit. I am getting a 25% reduction in trigger pull weight, however, I had previously polished all mating surfaces.
I watch the video all the way through. Then I dove in watching the video a second time. It was a piece of cake, all because of the well done and thorough video. Great job guys! It took be about 20 minutes and I am excited to try I it. Being that I live in Oregon and the rain makes it hard to shoot outside, stupid COVID has the range closed here. I will have to wait for a test drive.
My first attempt at a trigger job, after watching install video about 3 times I dove in. I was sweating a little but went step by step. Sear spring took a few attempts but at last it went together correctly. My 365 had a manual safety that was not mentioned in install video but a search for its removal was found from a different source. Final results are excellent! 200 rounds shot perfectly.
I purchased both the mcarbo and the AC spring kit for the p365. With the AC kit installed, was still getting a small amount of extra hold on the sear / striker engagement causing a bit more creep after the wall. Mcarbo sear spring is slightly lighter than the AC. With some more polishing, used a combo of mcarbo and factory springs. Although AC is my goto, should have gone to mcarbo first. Waiting for the p365 mcarbo striker assembly and plate.
Install is easy, but I get light strikes here and there. Might pullout the striker spring and give it a light stretch. But other than that 0 complaints works well and as intended. Do wish they updated the video with the manual safety version, but it was easy to get around since I have taken it apart in the past.
After changed springs kit, flat trigger and polish job. My p365 trigger pull is around 3 and half lbs. I love it. My friend test my p365 and they like it They like it so much they wants me to do it to their p365. It take about 15 - 20 mis. Very easy for springs kit.
Had my P365 and accuracy was not the best with the heavy trigger but after the kit and a flat trigger from sig was installed it ran great and the accuracy was way better
This spring kit will give you a "just right" trigger pull, and works very well with the Sig Flat Trigger. Install both at same time, as you will have the firearm disassembled at the right place. I had both the M-Carbo install video and the Sig trigger install video up each on one tab. This allows you to install the components in the correct order. It is important to note that some P365's. such as mine with the Stainless Slide, has a slightly different striking pin, that is, no internal spring behind and inside the tube for the firing pin. It also requires a slightly different procedure to remove and reinstall properly. Those with some gunsmiths experience should have no trouble figuring this out. Like the install video says, take your time, watch the details! Have a professional install this for you if your not sure.
Received quickly. Enjoyed taking the gun down - what a piece of engineering! The video was extremely helpful, though it needs to be updated as SIG has changed the design of the retainer that holds the backplate. Only difficult part otherwise was getting the lower leg of the sear spring out of the way and getting the takedown safety pin in. Took a couple three tries. The results are really excellent - doesn't "feel" all that much lighter, but super smooth and effortless with matching increase in accuracy out to 25 yards. Great product.
There's not much to say about the product: a 3 spring kit. I'm glad to have made the inexpensive upgrade to modestly improve the trigger experience. I don't believe in tricking out the trigger, else I'll never learn how to shoot a real gun. Half of the product, though, is a good instructional video or other guide. And despite the very good close-up images and detailed description, the video is missing things and I had to go elsewhere to figure out how to proceed. Specifically, the Sig P365 XL has a different (and not obvious) mechanism for removing the striker cover. The demo gun also doesn't have a manual safety. Another video to learn that step. And the demonstrator keeps referring to the take down lever as the safety lever. Minor, but confusing considering there is no safety on that gun. A couple of fixes would have made it perfect. But those steps took a while to figure out.
My installation went very smoothly thanks to the excellent quality video. The trigger pull was only reduced 11% (8.95 to 7.9 Lbs.). The explanation I was given was that this was a never-fired firearm. During the break-in period these figures should decrease significantly. If not I have confidence that M Carbo will help in a resolution.
The striker spring consistently caused light primer strikes and made the gun unusable. What a waste of money and time.
Easy to install I definitely recommend getting gun grease if you don’t already have it, it was a massive pain to install the seer spring without it. Overall install was super easy and anyone can do it at home with minimal effort
The pistol is performing great with the spring kit installed. I wouldn't have been able to do this install without the very informative and well done video showing us how. Thanks for a great product that preformed as advertised.
Installing the springs was as easy as the video lays it out, the new 365's have a different slide disassembly but it all worked out I actually did the slide one day and the FCG the next day, to keep things simple for me.
Just got and installed the kit today. My 365 is newer than the one that they used to show the installation. For one, most of the internal parts are blued inside witch makes it a little harder to see the different parts. The sear is now blue also and has a hole for the one end of the spring to fit into and is a different shape as well. The biggest issue I had was getting the striker out of the slide. As it turned out, the striker has been redesigned and doesn't depress to release the slide cap the same way... and it too has been blued. All in all, it took me about an hour to get the parts installed and working just fine!! Thanks
