1300 rounds with the spring kit. Smooth and crisp the way it should be.
Finally installed the spring kit in my P365XL-9mm. The Trigger pull was reduced to 4.5 from 5.8lbs. First 8-shot group afterwards was amazing!
I am blown away at the difference it made in my P365. It made much smoother and lightened a little ( but not too much ). You have to have a little patience installing the sear spring but the install video is fantastic. These guys are awesome and they re for real.
Great product, easy to install with minimal tools. The reduction in pull weight translates to a lot less squish in the felt pull before the break. I’m very happy with this product and the quickness of its delivery. I’ll definitely come back for more products in the future
Good product and excellent installation video! I was able to reduce a nearly 7lb pull to 3.5lb using the kit plus my own trigger spring from a Wolff torsion assortment. The SIG comes with a stiff trigger spring as well as sear spring. Unlike the sear spring, which is safety-critical because it holds the sear up in front of the striker, the trigger spring only returns the trigger and can be reduced as much as desired with zero possibility of sear slippage. I would feel much more comfortable if I had an MCARBO spring in there instead of a generic (and therefore suboptimally proportioned) one.
Have not yet installed trigger spring kit I received within the last few days on the Sig P365 XL. I have not seen in the reviews , or maybe I missed them, discussion on primer drag. Is anyone seen a difference in frequency of primer drag before and after trigger spring installation on the Sigh P365 XL ? From my limited research, and I'm no expert, primer drag is common in compact/sub-compact striker-fire handguns. I have been checking a limited number of my spent casings and have not seen any primer drag so far on my Sig P365 XL. My understanding, and again I'm no expert, that the strength of a striker spring can have an effect on the timing of the firing cycle and thus may contribute to primer drag. Like to see if M Carbo can address this issue from any of their testing. From my perspective, the improved trigger pull is great as long as it doesn't increase the potential frequency of primer drag. I'm using the Sig P365 XL primarily for EDC and home defense not primarily for range use. Any spring breakage after firing larger number of rounds? The youtube video on installation of the spring kit was very clear and professionally done. Like to address the above issue before installing kit. Any input would be welcomed, especially from M*Carbo staff. Please keep in mind, I had to give the kit a rating to be able to submit this email so my rating isn't based on any personal first hand information.
Service on this item was great and shipping was quick. I but the bulletin and had it installed by a professional gun smith. The result was awesome. Well worth the money. I’m a retired LEO, competitor and hunter and I’m very picky about triggers.
Great product that does what it says! Installed this a little bit ago to compliment my AC trigger anf it did just that! Reduced, smoother trigger pull and great audible and felt reset! Install was a breeze after watch the supplied video. Don't hesitate to buy this spring kit or to deal with this company...smooooth is the word!
I got the spring kit along with the flat trigger. The trigger installed flawlessly, but I found a quality control issue with the spring kit. when I attempted to install the sear spring, I noticed it would kink up, and no amount of finesse could put it in the correct orientation for the sear pin to go through. when I examined the sear spring, I found the end of the long arm to be bent at 115 degrees instead of the 90 degrees like the stock spring. I was very disappointed, but I have had good history with Mcarbo. I am sure the issue will be resolved positively.
Your video on how to install the trigger spring kit is not correct. Sig Sauer changed the way to remove the backplate and your web site does not reflect the change. I had to go to another wed site to find out how to remove it. I was a real bear to get the backplate back on.
Firstly, I'm a novice with firearms. I have about 5x more experience with a G19 Gen3 than my SIG P365, but the G19 is a bit too large for me to comfortably carry. So I was talked into getting the SIG for my every day carry. The factory trigger pull was taking more effort than I'd like to get used to and I consistently shot low and to the left. It was frustrating as I could shoot extremely accurately with my G19. Replacing these springs did the trick. With a little practice I know shoot just as accurately as I do with the G19 and feel more confident with the P365 as my carry. The installation itself was not that difficult. I didn't have the exact sized punches. I Just used misc. allen wrenches for pushing the pins out. I had never taken down my P365 that far before this install. Using the supplied video I had these pieces installed in less than an hour.
Really improves the trigger feel. It isn't the easiest thing to install so take your time and follow the excellent video the Mcarbo supplies. I had a bent spring arrive and they promptly replaced it free of charge. Glad I made the upgrade!
Very happy with this kit!
This is a very effective kit which reduced the trigger pull weight to 3.8lbs on my Sig 365 XL. The flat trigger seemed to help bring the trigger weight down. Sig’s are not easy to work on but if you follow the installation video closely you’ll have success.
I recently purchased the Mcarbo P365 trigger spring kit. I viewed the installation video first and would highly recommend anybody installing the spring kit to do the same. I had previously installed the flat trigger between the two alterations it reduced my trigger pull from 6.4 to 4.2. Excellent job on the installation video. Extremely pleased Wayne
