I found the install a little challenging but was able to get the fcu back together and the results were worth it. I also ended up replacing the striker with the titanium striker.
I'm new to shooting, and the Sig P365 is my first gun ever. I really like the gun overall, but I found the trigger to be a bit too stiff. I also have a Sig Lima365 aiming laser fitted, but it requires a fairly stiff press on the button to light the laser. That, added to a 72-year-old somewhat shaky grip and relatively long fingers have gjven me a pretty funky shooting situation. When I learned about MCarbo's trigger spring kit which promised a lighter pull, I jumped at the opportunity. The installation was quick and easy. I also installed MCarbo's CNC Flat Trigger at the same time, which I also like quite a bit. Though I'm still just starting to practice with the new setup, while dry firing to feel the new trigger pull, I tried pressing the laser light button at the same time to see how that felt. Of course, I'll try it at the range, but I'm finding that by shifting my grip back around a bit, I can use the stronger second bone of my middle finger to hold the light on, while I use the FIRST bone of my trigger finger to pull the lighter trigger. It's also a smoother, shorter throw.
My stock trigger was gritty. I was looking for something to relieve the grit. I saw an ad for the MCARBO trigger spring kit, so I gave it a shot. Man am I glad I did. The trigger on my P365 XL is so much smoother and lighter now. The instructional video was spot on for most of it. The only variation is had to contend with is that the striker housing on mine is the newer style, while the video shows the previous version. I had to watch a separate video to help with that part, but other than that, spot on. I had no issues changing the springs out myself. Much better feel now. Still need to shoot it, but dry firing it, I can tell a huge difference. Thanks MCARBO!
I just got it back from my gun smith. Exactly what m carbo states. Smooth and crisp. No over travel. I'm gauge at average 3.3 pounds. Great value for the money.
Mcarbo is great! The offer quality parts at great prices and deliver faster than dominos! My new sig 365 trigger pull is so much lighter and smother. Mcarbo had a great instructional video that walks you through in great detail with good information. I will buy more from them
I own a Sig P365 for concealed carry. I purchased a flat trigger a couple months ago and decided to go with a spring kit as well. The P365 is known for the smooth trigger and the spring kit only made it better. Happy I made the upgrade and happy MCarbo was the company that helped with it.
The trigger pull reduction that this kit provides makes shooting the p365 much more enjoyable. It was relatively easy to install using mcarbo’s videos, however Sig has changed the way the striker is held in the slide so you may need to reference newer takedown videos until mcarbo updates theirs. Can not recommend this product enough.
Easy to install. Striker spring was just a little light for my particular weapon. About a 5 percent of the rounds had light primer strike. Might be just fine for other users.
This spring kit is a must have for all P365 owners. Dramatic difference.
This kit gave me a significant improvement in the P365's already great trigger. I had an immediate improvement in accuracy, especially on my 25 yard head shot drill. Install was about 30 minutes end to end. The video made it fairly easy. That last pin was the tricky part. All in all, nice experience from the get go.
Other than USPS messing everything up once the kit arrived it was relatively fast to get the slide portion of the spring Kit handled. My problems came when I got to the Sere spring. No problems getting things torn down. I had replaced the factory curved trigger with a factory flat the week before. But as is said in the YouTube video on this particular spring it can be a bugger. Not proud to say that that spring took me the better part of two hours getting that little pigtail captured the right way so that all other firing checks were A-Okay.It wasn't a solid two hours as I had the good sense to walk away when the 'choice words' issued from my mouth. But happy now that everything is back together and working just fine. Thanks M*Carbo
Sigs trigger group is a bit wild and it definitely takes a hot second to install this kit. That being said pretty reasonable to do for anyone that is remotely handy. The finished product definitely takes the weight down a bit, it's noticable but not wild, still a very safe feeling trigger for edc.
I just had my P365 modified with this spring kit. After watching the video, i just did not have confidence that i could install it myself so i had a local gunsmith do the work for me. I took the pistol out to the range today and was very pleased with the result. Trigger feels much better and i feel it was money well spent.
Got the kit for my P365. After polishing all the internals, swapping out the springs, adding the flat trigger, and greasing her up, the pull is smoother than any striker fired pistol I've ever used. Thank you for your efforts.
So far I have not installed the trigger return spring but I did install the striker and plunger springs. That alone took my trigger pull from close to 6# to just about 4#. I will tackle the trigger spring when I have time but for now the trigger is way smoother and much better feeling than stock.
easy to install with there video instructions. Nice reduced spring rate .
