GREAT PRODUCT!!!!!! But watch the install video before the kit arrives! I did not and upon arrival, I assumed that the seer spring that’s included was a broken trigger return spring! Dumb@$$! The Customer Service Was EXCELLENT in dealing with MY IGNORANCE! Can’t Say Enough About This Great Product And Customer Service!!!!!
The kit is great but I did have a little trouble with this one. The video is a great tool and it helped me a lot. Glad it was online and not a tape because it might have been worn out before I got mine back together. IT WAS worth it!!!
Changed the springs out. I was truly surprised the difference. If you have a newer p365 there is a slightly different way to remove the back plate to remove the springs and striker assembly so make sure to keep there in mind. The process is a little tricky, but if you disassemble your firearm totally for cleaning from time to time it is not that bad. Follow the video to the letter and don't get ahead of yourself. Overall, brought my trigger from 5.9lbs pull down to right around 4. Between this and the flat trigger it feels like a new gun. Would highly recommend. Tried tapping and smacking after installation to test against accidental discharges and there were not. Solid
Fast shipping, well worth the price. First gun project, took about an hour, beginning to end. Love the crisp break, feels like the precision trigger that this fine pistol deserves.
Super consistant and feels really freaking good!! Much quicker 2nd round follow ups!! Was kind of a pain to instal the last spring but also didnt have the proper tool. Overall very very pleased and will be referring my customers to yall for kits!
My p356 trigger had an eight pound trigger pull before I installed spring kit. Now it is four pound, fourteen once’s. It’s a joy to shoot now! I would highly recommend this spring kit.
First, a confession. I'm a 79 old man with fading eyesight and not so study hands, so I cheated and had a gunsmith do the install. Looks simple enough on 27" monitor, but when I looked at the FCU in my shaky hands I decided to save a lot of time and frustration and call in the pros. Now for the spring set. It took the pull from an inconsistent 6 lbs. to a smoother, consistent 4.25 lbs. with an much better overall feel. As to how it will preform on the range, I have yet to find out. Impressions during Dry firing been very good. If I have any problems at the range or it does not hold up, I will be back to edit this review. After years of shooting, and sometimes competing, I have concluded that after PRACTICE, a good trigger is the best thing you can do to improve your scores. The M*CARBO spring kit seems to fulfill the good trigger part.
Install video was very helpful. While I was in there, I polished some of the internal components and swapped the springs. Made a difference for sure and worth the price overall.
Easy to install, just follow the video, gives the trigger a light crisp pull
I used the kit to replace the factory springs of my Sig 365XL. The trigger force went from 6 lb 11 oz to 4 lb 13 oz (Wheeler gauge 10 redaings each). The trigger also feels very good without being unsafely low. Changing the springs is a bit more involve than what I did before on other guns, but the video is a big help. Note that the rear plate removal is slightly different on the new Sig models (at least mine), also I had to remove the safety lever and reinstall it (not difficult). You can find youtube video for both.
A little harder than the video shows but ever at 70+ it can be done. Really lightens and smooths the trigger pull. Mine went from 6lbs to 4lbs 6oz.
Saw Chris Nelson's top notch, step-by-step, How-To video on YouTube for the MCARBO Sig P365 enhanced trigger kit. The video sold me on the kit. I can already shoot a 1" 3 shot group at 7 yards on rest with the stock trigger. Can't wait to see how much tighter the 3 shot group will be with the lighter, smoother trigger! (I shoot IDPA BUG matches with my P365 too.) This is my second trigger kit from MCARBO. My first one was for my Grand Power Stribog carbine. Another excellent trigger kit. Keep up the good work! I bought this earlier in the year and got everything changed out. It was fairly easy with the videos provided. However when going to the range the first time I noticed some rounds were not firing through. Examining the round you can see where the pin hits but it’s as if it’s a dummy round. I initially thought it was the cheap ammo but then I went back with better ammo and same issue. This didn’t happen before the swap. I read all the reviews and multiple forums about this and how great it was and the difference it made so I can’t imagine this is an issue with all but I guess the set I have is faulty?
This is a great product at a great value. I am very pleased with the MCARBO spring kit. Installation was not the easiest, but the MCARBO tutorial video was excellent. Since my pistol has a manual safety and the tutorial video does not, I looked elsewhere for instructions for removing/reinstalling the manual safety, but that turned out to be a fairly easy task. If you have a 365, you need to get this spring kit!
The Mcarbo upgrade transforms the SIG Sauer P365 into the pistol it was meant to be right out of the factory. It eliminates the heavy, mushy trigger pull that exceeds 6 pounds, bringing it down to a consistent 3-3.5 pounds with this kit. The gun now feels significantly better to handle. I'd recommend that anyone looking to enhance their P365 should start with the Mcarbo trigger kit!
