I really love this lighter trigger. Accuracy is improved too. Easily installed with video.
I was kind of intimidated on doing it and then I watched the video on YouTube and it shows step by step what to do .....simple....... Glad I did it I like the results......
Installing this kit with the flat trigger led to a whole crap moment of no more crunchy factory trigger and hello to something that feels like quality
Just installed the spring kit in my XL using the install video. Great detailed video and the trigger feels great. I highly recommend these guys. Their shipping and handling time was fast also.
Sear spring is good and striker block spring is ok. The striker spring is awful and I think they need to include a trigger return spring that is a little stronger. Out of 100 rounds Winchester 9mm 115gr I had 42 light strikes taking those 42 and re running them a 2nd time I had 38 light strikes! 38 out of 42 still didn't fire. I have never had a light strike till I put this spring in. I will go back to oem spring on the striker. but it sucks to waste money if you can use the parts
Once installed along with the flat milled trigger I received a solid 3.6 lbs of trigger pull and crisp trigger with no slack and minimal reset.
The kit was as advertised, and the video MCarbo produced was excellent. For a P365 starting at 7ish pound pull, it would be a great improvement. For my P365XL, starting at about 5 lbs, it made very little difference - trigger pulls are 4.5 - 5 lbs, and I doubt I would be able to tell the difference if I had before and after side-by-side.
Cool kit, very good instal video. I did experience light primer strikes using CCI primers. Wish I could give it a 5 star but unfortunately I need to bring it back to stock. Can’t have my carry piece fail to ignite the primer.
I installed this trigger spring kit on my P365 with a factory XL flat trigger (installed over a year ago). I was excited to take this to the range once the install was complete. I used my trigger gauge and I had a nice crisp break at 4lbs even with an awesome reset. When I got to the range, I am very sorry to say that I experienced MANY misfires due to light primer strikes (1-3 about every 15rnds). I even field stripped my pistol at the range, and lubricated everything. I re assembled everything and sadly the issue did not improve at all. The most unfortunate part is: this is my main conceal carry weapon. I do not feel confident at all having this on my person and protecting my life if I needed to use it (God forbid). I will have to take this out of my rotation until I reinstall my factory springs that my p365 came with.
Never had a single failure of any kind until I put this kit into my 365 XL. Worked great for maybe 300-400 rounds and started light striking anything that wasn't nickel plated. About a 7% failure rate on Winchester white box. Replaced the striker spring with the factory one and the trigger still feels like it's at the same pull weight. I would take it out of the kit completely.
The striker spring is far too light. It does lower the pull weight to 4ish lbs, but i was getting roughly a 15% failure to fire rate with my competition ammo (my heavily modified G34 with lighter spring has less than 1% on this ammo) and an unforgivable 5% FTF rate on my defensive V-crown ammo. The other two springs are okay to use, but throw the striker spring in the trash.
Upon installing the kit, I tested multiple brands of ammo, to include my 124gr +P Federal HST carry ammo and had numerous light strikes. The striker spring in this kit is absolutely too weak. I have reinstalled the oem striker spring, but kept the other MCarbo springs in place with success. Please do not use this complete kit for a carry gun without confirming that it is 100% functional.
Kit took trigger pull from 5 Lbs + down to 3Lbs 9 OZ Follow directions on video and no problems. Tip , remember takedown / safety lever will not work unless slide stop is up.
I have small hands and am an older shooter. My P365 had around a 7lb Trigger Pull. I wanted a lighter pull so it would be easier to manage when firing. After changing out the Trigger Springs the pull is between 4lbs and 5lbs! My shots are now more on target with less effort. I now have 3 of my guns with MCARBO Trigger Kits!
I was planning on doing this installation myself, but after watching the video - which was clear and excellent - I got a bit intimidated. Lots of little part, and I just didn't feel comfortable keeping track of them all. Elected to have my gunsmith do the work. Yes, it cost me more, but everything was done right. Picked up my newly retooled P365 yesterday and took her to target practice. The lighter pull was clearly present. Definitely improved my accuracy. However, there still remains some gritty feel in the trigger between the wall and the firing. Just not as smooth as my Glock. Nonetheless, I would highly recommend the springs, and M-Carbo. My order was easily placed and literally arrived the very next day. Moreover, the follow up and follow through by this company has been unparalleled. Better than Amazon or any other online vendor I've used.
I carry a 365 every day that I have put thousands of rounds through and bought another to test modifications on before switching to carrying it. Then bought another for someone. I installed the M*CARBO springs, an Armory Craft flat trigger, and polished all parts that move during a trigger pull. I switched between shooting the modified gun, the other new gun, and my EDC Friday and the difference is night and day on the modified gun. This kit does nothing for take-up, the trigger bar return spring is not touched, but polishing the trigger bar and frame made take up as smooth as can be; then a very distinct wall, then a nice light ~3.5lb pull. A few others shot it with the same comments. Highly recommend the M*CARBO kit and while it is apart polish all parts that move against each other.
