Great products and wonder installation videos! Customer service was very helpful when an issue occurred with my USPS shipment! Shocker!! Sent me a replacement Fedex2day! The original order finally showed up 14 days after ordering! Since I have two 365s I asked to keep the 2nd kit instead of returning! They offered a discount and no shipping charge! What more can say!! Mcarbo...you guys are great!!
This is the second kit Ive bought and it really helps out along with a good polish of internals. I can get a nice clean smooth trigger pull around 3.5lbs. Highly recommend!
Got this kit based off a vet buddy’s recommendation installed it using the handy videos provided and everything was amazing! Plan on getting the flat trigger next great company awesome product
Easy install
Well, I just installed the Trigger Spring Kit for the P365 XL and following MCARBO's instructional video made it not too daunting a task, but found it worked out best for me to start and stop the video as I go so that I could keep up. How much improvement. I have MCARBO's trigger on backorder so it was simply replacing the 3 springs. I dont have a trigger scale but there is a greatly noticeable difference. Both in weight and in taking out some of that spongey grit. Worth the few bucks for sure.
First time to get into the guts of a gun like this. I'm handy, but no gunsmith. The video was perfect. I have the new striker assembly, so I did need to look for a different video on how to take out the striker sleeve. The hardest part, for me, was holding the sear spring leg up while putting in the safety bar pin. That took a little patience and a bit of holding-the-tongue-the-right way. Definitely get the synthetic grease "gunsmith's glue". All in all, it took about 30 minutes. Results are just amazing. Went from an inconsistent, gritty 6lb plus trigger to a more predictable, smooth 3.5 lbs. Clear reset. Shot 300 rounds this morning with a variety of ammo including factory FMJ, factory Subsonic, factory JHP, and gun show reloads. Everything fed and ejected perfectly. I did have 3 light strikes out of the 300 rounds (on the Sig brand factory JHP, of all things). Not enough for me to put the factory striker spring back in, but I'll continue to monitor that aspect. Overall, would very much recommend this kit. And, doing the install myself was educational and fun. Looking for more M-Carbo kits....maybe for the P938....hmmmm
I installed the M*CARBO spring kit in my Sig 365 with XL body. It had a decent trigger pull before, a little spongy and 4.5lbs. The kit is easy to install if you follow the great video and will lead to an improvement. My trigger feels better and weight dropped one pound to 3.5 which is where I like it to be. A range trip with Federal HST 124 and my own reloads found reliability still to be 100%.
MCarbo definitely knows how to do customer service right - fast shipping and follow up to make sure everything was delivered correctly. This kit install was made straightforward by the outstanding video - I cannot say enough about how the video makes installing this kit understandable and achievable by a layperson. A couple things for folks to note (as mentioned in several other reviews) - there is a newer striker sleeve assembly than the one in this video. You can find the disassembly for the new one online in several places. Second, if you have the manual safety, you'll want to do a quick search for install videos of the manual safety to see how it goes in as well - for that be careful when removing the manual safety because the detent and spring will want to fly away. As for effectiveness, the reduction in my case was about 25%, which made for measurable improvements in performance. With sky high ammo prices today, I procured a MantisX X10 a while back. The best I could do on the MantisX benchmark w/the factory trigger was a score of 92.5. I shot that right before installing this kit. Afterwards, I was able to get a score of 95.5, with hands/fingers tired after the kit install. I've gotten up to a 96.5 since then, which for a striker fired pistol is the best I've done. This kit won't make the P365 trigger a 1911 one, but it improved mine in a real-world measurable way, as shown by the MantisX scores.
I was pretty unimpressed with the factory trigger pull on my Sig P365XL. It was long and mushy with an average pull weight of 4 lbs 6 oz. Not really that heavy compared to some pistols, but it was awful with that long mushy feel. I installed the M-CARBO spring kit and the "mush" went away and now has an average of 3 lbs 7.7 oz. IT's not just the reduced weight but the overall better feel. I do wish the trigger pull still had a more defined wall before the break but it is still a great improvement over stock! The install video M-CARBO has is great and makes the install pretty easy.
I've installed two of these along with the MCarbo Trigger. Great improvement in the trigger pull. Went from 5.4lbs to 3.7 lbs (with the new trigger)
Great product. Very fast shipping and a lot of communication with seller. They sent me the Video link on how to install the spring kit. I have not had a chance to install it yet but look forward to it.
Installed the flat trigger and spring kit for the P365 today. This would never have been possible for me to do without the extremely well done video. The kit did everything that was advertised. My trigger pull went from 6 lbs. to 4.75 lbs. and is crisp.
I have these kits in both my Sigs. I also have installed the flat triggers. Huge difference.
Install was not bad. Trigger feels great. Highly recommend for anyone with a P365
Wasn't to hard to install with basic tools. Lightened trigger pull to smooth pull but not too light dor a carry gun.
I installed this spring kit in a 365XL and it took the trigger pull from 6 1/2 lbs down to just over 4. Made me actually enjoy shooting the gun.
