Install easy after watching installation video. Easy to see and feel difference. Have not been to the range yet, but, I am confident it will work as well as my Ruger Ranch rifle trigger spring. I had to return my 1st spring due to some kind of problem in manufacturing. I was notified before the spring even arrived. Received a full refund before 2nd spring arrived. Great customer service by Macarbo. Completely satisfied!

It noticeably softened up the impact of the bolt carrier on the rear trunnion and my original spring only had under 2000 rounds shot. Best part is how easy it is the install! Definitely an upgrade if u notice your brass flying to the moon.
This is the second time I've bought the extra power recoil spring, the first went into a PSA GF3 and this one went into a Zastava M92. Both times the item shipped quickly and got to me without issue. When you first install the spring you can expect a few instances of failure to eject but after the first mag everything runs smoothly. Paired with a decent muzzle brake this will make any AK pattern rifle or pistol a real smooth shooter. Much easier to stay on target for quick follow-up shots. 10/10 would recommend.
I have a Romanian AK which needed this spring. The bolt would almost stick in its sweet spot when charging. After the installation of this spring and polishing of the hammer and bolt assembly it is more ROBUST then ever! Fell in love with it all over again! Wish I could post pics of the rifle and 300m grouping here.
I recently purchased an I.O. ak (I know, the hipoint of the ak community) and it had terrible feeding issues due to the bolt not fully returning. These spring completely fixed the problem. I'm now able to cycle rounds as fast as I can squeeze them out. Install was a little more difficult than expected due to how much stiffer this spring is compared to the original, but that made me more hopeful for a successful result. And mcarbo delivered. If you're thinking about buying one, dont hesitate. If you own multiple, un altered ak's, I suggest having at least one as a backup for when/if your original spring fails or starts giving you issues.
The AK-47 Extra Power Recoil Spring was very easy to install after watching the video from MCARBO. I use to have extensive bruising on my shoulder prior to the spring installation. I went to the range and put about 400 rounds down range with very minor bruising on my shoulder. I definitely would recommend picking up this recoil spring for your AK.
I've yet to actually go field test this spring. However just doing a dry rack the difference is incredible. Before the spring, my bolt would try to come back home and would get hung up on the hammer. Like a boat hitting a sandbar. Now even trying to get it to stop on the hammer it won't. Instant home. It now feels definite and sure. Before it felt very loose and questionable if it was in battery. I don't have to go shoot to know this is going to solve the intermittent issues I was having. I'm a return customer for a reason. Everything works as is advertised and it's priced damn well. I wish you guys made more Parts. It would be my one stop shop period. For reference my ak was built from a parts kit. Well over 2k rnds through it. Maybe even 3...
After spending nearly 3 exhausting minutes upgrading the action spring (mostly in taking the sock and cover off), it's done. Much improved, much stronger, no dead coils, not limp and floppy. Not sure how others struggled on this one. In fact, I even had time to put the old one back for a quick comparison and lubed the rod in between. Can't wait to get my Izhevsk (by Dan at Evolution AK) back out to the range.

I was having failure to battery on a brand new ak. After installing the extra power spring my zastava zpap92 fired 500 rounds last weekend no jams or failures of any type. Worked as advertised.

Installation was fairly easy. I used a vise which helped hold the rod in place. First time at the range it made such a big difference! With the spring and existing muzzle brake, barely any muzzle rise. Great product!
