I received the Kel-Tec up grades i haven't installed them yet, but i know value when i see it, and these up grades are going to make a good product a great product.
The part was perfectly machined and I feel like you need this if your going all in on internal parts this is critical and I have 100% confidence that it will never fail.
Now I go t this with my "All in one Pro Bundle" but wanted to add my review on the individual items also. I polished this puppy up along with the new reed ramp and hammer/sear contact points and made my trigger pull a crisp sweet under pound pull. Don t know if the polishing really did much as the part itself was already perfect. MUCH better than the OEM plastic bushing that slips out of alignment. This is a easier fool proof fix. Just watch the videos and you too will become a Sub-2000 gunsmith.
Simple, good upgrade while I was inside. Relying on a plastic piece didn't make me feel too confident. This is a simple to install upgrade. I polished mine.
I haven't installed this part yet but it's guaranteed to be way better than that plastic piece of trash that is OEM. I disassemble the rifle for painting and, just like Chris said, the OEM bushing is chewed up on the corner. I'm sure this will work flawlessly.
Excellent workmanship as usual with all of mcarbo’s parts. This and my trigger bar are the last internal parts I need to install in the sub. Very happy to support Chris and his team and watch his company grow. I remember my first purchase some years ago was a marlin 60 spring kit. Back then he would just write the parts description in magic marker on the bag.
Feel a lot better with the reliability of the firearm with a steel bushing. Also , almost the entire list of upgrades from mcarbo.
Original plastic bushing started chipping after 250 rounds. S.S.bushing fixed the problem & improved reliability issues on my Sub 2000.
I am a big fan of Polymers, where they are best applicable. Maybe that is not in a part that recieves constant impacting and high speed right angle contact. The OEM Kel Tec Hammer Bushing is a Polymer Bushing on a steel pin, it moves, it wears, and it can crack along the edges. The MCARBO Stainless Steel Bushing - Pin assembly is good for the lifetime of the firearm. If the OEM bushing goes, one loses the alignment of the hammer and sear, no controllable hammer no controllable shoot. MCARBO Hammer Bushing Assembly is a Sensible upgrade.
Easy upgrade. I polished it some more before installing. Most likely not needed but hey, why not?
Perfect fit and WAY better than the original part. This is a necessary modification.
The factory bushing having a plastic head is begging to wear out. Mcarbo’s all stainless steel solution is the perfect answer! Just like all the other stuff I have purchased quality is superb and at a fair price!
After inspecting the stock one, it is already marred after the 2 round test fire from the factory. Anytime you can go metal over plastic just makes sense!
