Completed installation of the M*Carbo Trigger spring kit in a SCCY CPX-2, installation was a piece of cake and the results were prenominal much better than I expected, to be honest I was ready to throw this gun in the trash it was so unreliable. The trigger reduction was actually less than a pound as my gun was only 5lbs 2ozs before but it is now as 4lbs 3ozs. but much smoother and a better break, I have now fired more than 200 rnds. since installation of the kit without any malfunctions, before it would misfire 2 out of 5 times. the gun is now a pleasure to shoot as it should have been from the factory, one more example of you get what you pay for. Although I have not fired it yet the trigger pull reduction is very noticeable. I will make one comment: After installing all three springs I realized that the amount of time invested to remove & replace the trigger return spring seems completely unnecessary for the minimal advantage of replacing it. You can install the hammer spring with out removing the lower. You might need small needle nose pliers This would reduce the time by 50 % with little or no noticeable effect as far as I can tell. DCG

This makes a big enough difference that you would be crazy to not get this spring kit. Very easy to install. Makes this so much more enjoyable now. And combined with the short stroke trigger kit from a different website. This is a lot of fun to shoot.
My gunsmith changed the trigger spring set. He took a trigger pull before and after: before 8.71lb , after 5.50lb. So, I got a 3.21lb reduction. It is unbelievable what a difference it made.
1st time taking a gun down that far. Video instructions are awesome. Trigger pull is good now. My 4 has a safety for both sides, so you will need a small Torx to remove the screw. Careful not to drop screws or springs.
soon after installing trigger kit i went to the range.and i guess being everyone has covid19 scare. i could not get my usual ammo so i had to try rhino ammo for the first time ever.BIG MISTAKE, i had so many jams i quit counting and first thought was omg what did i do. then my next trip i was able to get winchester and blazer everything went perfect, both boxes.... best part is my 76 yr old wife can now pull the trigger. M*CARBO made a good gun great!! thanks.
This kit is a perfect replacement for the original springs. While it only reduced the trigger pull to about 5 1/4 lbs., it does feel a lot smoother. I haven't put very many rounds through it so hopefully it'll get better.

Received the kit and installed the same day. The installation was pretty straight forward. I watched the video and stopped it as I followed along. I had a little trouble with the 3/32 punch being a bit large, Harbor Freight, I had to sand it down a little. The frame pins and the extractor pin were hard to extract. all together it took maybe 30 minuets. The trigger action is much better

My husband bought me a 9mm cpx 2. First gun I have ever owned. It was hard to shoot. I got this, watched the video and did all the work myself. If I can change these springs anyone can. It has made my gun so much easier to shoot. Thanks MCARBO!!!
