Perfect fit! Everything went together nicely. Cut the pull weight down by half makes the gun feel amazing! Shipping was stupid fast and customer service is excellent! Will definitely be doing business with these guys again!
This spring kit has drastically improved my CPX-3! Easily cut the trigger pull weight by 50 percent. $20 well spent. This is a quality kit. The install video is very thorough. I put it on par with my Kahr pistols as far as the lightness and smoothness of the trigger pull. Thank you MCARBO!!!
Easy to install and works like a charm. Totally different action in trigger for sure. This is a must have upgrade for the CPX-1/2.
Followed the video. No issues. Works great. Definitely reduced the trigger weight. Haven’t shot it yet but I’m very pleased with dry firing.
Great product! Worked perfect!
This is a great product. It installed just like the instruction video shows. Much better trigger feel after installation. I have one more to install on another pistol, and am hoping for the same results.
Amazing product however I have 1 minor complaint that makes it 4 stars and thats the tutorial video the video is great for the cpx - 1 but since its a part for both cpx - 1 & 2 they should of warned of the torq bit needed to remove the safety for the installation or show how it is done but this has been over looked how ever if they fix this then everyone can do it without help from a gun smith.
If anything, I was OVERCOMMUNICATED with after the purchase (not a bad thing at all). The package showed up a day ahead of schedule. The installation was SUPER easy with the video provided. The only problem I had was that I have a CPX-1 and the install video is for a CPX-2. Same gun, the CPX-1 has a trigger safety so there was a bit more mechanical work to be done during install, but not hard to figure out. Looking forward to my next purchase here!
This kit is simple and easy to install, especially if you are following the installation video. The result is a significant reduction in trigger pull!
Took the SCCY to the range the other day shot off 50 rounds. Index finger started to become a little uncomfortable. Thought I give the spring set for the SCCY a try. Pretty easy installation. The video helps a lot. Haven't taken the gun to the range yet but I really like the improved trigger pull and reset. Thanks Mcarbo.
I installed the Mcarbo trigger spring kit in my cpx2 what a different gun I love it!!
Received it in about 10 days(thanks USPS) and am very pleased with the quality of the springs and the detailed instructions MCARBO provides, installed new springs pretty quickly and there seems to be a noticeable improvement in trigger pull.
The recoil seems much easier to mange after this upgrade. I can get back on target for a followup shot much quicker.
If you're reading this, you've probably already made your first mistake by buying one of these guns. If you haven't bought one, save your money. The only thing I regret more than buying one of these guns is buying two. I was interested in getting my daughters to shoot so I bought a CPX1 (9) in purple and a CPX4 (380) in pink. Both of these have manual thumb safeties. I also paid a little bit more to have them optics ready so I could eventually start working with them on red dots. Out of the box, they looked great. I was very excited to show my girls the new guns. I took both guns to the range to test out before having the kids shoot them and instantly, without hesitation hated both of these guns. They are both DAO with 3 mile, 8-9 pound trigger pulls. Holy crap. Worst guns I have ever shot by far. Even worse than anything from Keltec or HiPoint. So, I did some more research and found this spring kit. Went ahead and purchased one for each gun and opted to do it myself. The video was an excellent step-by-step tutorial, and two of the three springs were swapped out very easily. If you have a newer generation version of either of these guns, do not. I repeat. do not attempt to replace the trigger return spring because the pin that needs to be removed to fully take the gun apart is cemented in and you will damage your gun trying to do that. Trust me. Like I always say, smart people learn from their mistakes. Really smart people learn from other people's mistakes. Learn from mine OK. All done. Back to the range. Long story short. Yes the trigger is a bit softer, but it's still DAO, with an insanely long trigger pull. We could get used to that by watching the hammer come back and timing the point of firing. The problem: More misfires than actual fires. I have heard that the DVG-1 is a striker fired gun that does not have these issues, but there is no manual safety, which was a dealbreaker for me. I might restore them back to original factory condition, but not sure if I want to waste the time. Between the guns, spring kits, extra magazines that I purchased and FFL fees, I am out $700. If it's not too late, do not buy these guns. I highly recommend either the Ruger security lite rack 380 or the M&P EZ 380.
I’ve been really disappointed with this gun since I bought it. After shooting other guns, I realized the trigger was my problem. Replaced the springs with this kit, and now I have a usable gun! Thanks mcarbo!
