M-Carbo there product is great and it was easy to install keep up the good work guys
The initial trigger pull on my CPX-2 was over my max scale value of 8 lbs and was estimated at over 9 lbs. After the spring kit, the trigger pull was 5 lbs. My generation SCCY did not have a slot in the trigger bar, the trigger spring was just resting below the bar. Placing the new spring in the same location, and everything works. Trigger still has a long reset but is very smooth. Tried four different brands of ammo and all worked fine.
Was easy to install and everything that was needed was included. trigger is much easier to pull and came with a lighter firing pin retention spring, which I feel will be needed. They seemed to have tested and covered the bases.
This spring kit works as advertised. The installation video was easy to follow. My CPX-1 is now one of my favorite pistols with a trigger pull around 4 lbs.
Took me about 20 minutes to install the spring kit and what a difference. I could not even get a before measurement due to scale limits at 8 lbs. I now get a consistent 5.25 lb. pull which is perfect for carry purposes. Thanks again for putting out a great product and I can’t wait to hit the range. Chris

Online tutorial was great, even for my first time doing an upgrade. The CPX-1 will require removing the safety, but that was easily done. Tested trigger pull and completely amazed at the difference. Can’t wait to take it to the range.
Great upgrade that makes the SCCY much more comfortable to shoot. Great American made product and the installation video made the installation a breeze. I was a bit skeptical as to what to expect with something as simple as a spring change - after installation and a trip to the range, I am a believer! Ordered this to reduce trigger pull. The delivery service was great and on time. Once it arrived I followed the instruction video and it was very clearly done. Mcarbo has some of the best instruction videos. This is the second trigger mod I have purchased and installed.. Both went smoothly and as shown. Great company to work with.
This is my second SCCY to get this spring upgrade. The install is not hard at all for someone who is comfortable with taking down guns. The installation video is great, maybe best I've seen. Just follow it and you'll be fine. The results are impressive, so much better than original. If you have a CPX model do yourself a favor and get this kit for it, you won't be disappointed!

I bought the spring kit for the sccy cpx-2 and it did as advertised reduce trigger pull by at least half the gun is a usable gun now and it made it more accurate thank you a very good product
1. Impressive inventory 2. Exceptional interest in a new customer by the communication when the order is received, when it has been shipped (very expedient), and follow up after the customer receives the item. This doesn't happen with other companies. I have owned a CPX-2 for 2 years now and wasn't pleased with the trigger pull. Got to thinking maybe there was a way to change it, searched YouTube, found an excellent instructional video that used M-Carbo springs and the rest is history now. Thank You! I am a customer for life!
The spring kit works great and really did improve the feel and ease of the trigger. The video on YouTube was awesome. However, my experience putting in my gun was nothing like the video because my rear pin was seized in the aluminum trigger housing and would not come out. I tried the punch (broke 3 new punches in the process) method, I tried to press it out, I tried to drill it out, but in the end the only way I got it to separate from the polymer lower was to break the rear pin. My lower is now chewed up and the pin is forever broken and seized. Something I’ll have to take up with SCCY, but nonetheless frustrating.
I purchased a SCCY CPX2 Gen 3 for a cheap glovebox gun, with the idea that it would be good for plinking, and I wouldn't be out much is it went missing. Good little gun, but the trifecta of old hands, a bit of arthritis, and every bit of 9 lbs. worth of trigger meant after 2 or 3 mags, I was through shooting. Several friends suggested the M*Carbo trigger kit, so, for about twenty five bucks, I ordered one. I watched the video a couple of times before installing the kit. Chris does a really excellent job of explaining the how, where, and why of every step of the install. It went together just like the video, and the finished product is nothing short of amazing. Much smoother, and it can't be more than 4 1/2 lbs. Absolutely the best "bang for the buck" gun money I've spent in a very long time.
