I am very happy. This was my first detailed gun mod. The video was excellent. The spring kit went in without a hitch and worked beautifully. My trigger is light, smooth, and the reset is crisp. I really enjoyed opening up my Shield, sanding and polishing, seeing how the innards work, and the payoff! I didn't send as much as the video demonstrated, was being cautious. But it didn't matter much. I got the results I was looking for. Not only do I recommend this mod, I highly recommend dealing with mcarbo! These guys have the American spirit, and are doing what they love to help you get the performance your weapon is capable of!
Shipping and customer service were top notch. Followed along with video which was easy to follow and detailed. But I put my pistol back together my 5 pull average was 4.75 pounds. The trigger feels much smoother. Crisp break. But I was really looking forward to a trigger pull about 2 pounds lighter than what I ended up with.
Love my Gen I Shield 9mm. Love it more now that I installed this MCarbo trigger spring kit along with some minor polishing of friction points. The tutorial was great and I consider the install a significant improvement. However, I did get two light hits, out of a box of 50 Maxx Tech by GH Ammunition. I bought a thousand rounds of this practice ammunition. I am a bit disappointed in this occurrence and am not sure if the cause is the ammo or a lighter strike caused by the striker spring replacement. I have more work to do. Still, I gave MCarbo a four as I did receive a noticeably lighter trigger pull and pleasure in shooting my choice in a carry gun.
Absolutely hated my Shield's trigger pull. MCarbo's trigger kit was just amazing. Installation: watched video daily while awaiting kit; took my weapon apart daily per video; had my installation checked by local armor. Perfect! Love my Shield now!
i purchased the trigger springs and polishing kit for my M&P. I followed the how to video. The only issue I had was bumping my sights, but once I figure it out, it was pretty straight forward. The kit made a big difference on the trigger. I would highly recommend this kit to anyone who want to up grade their trigger without breaking the bank.
Improved trigger, got the pull weight down to around 3lb instead of 7lb. Polished some of the internals and added a forward set sear from Apex Tactical makes for a sweet trigger pull with less take-up and a crisp break.
I received this kit that had everything needed to take my gritty trigger pull to a smooth respectable pull weight . The step explicit how too video gave me the confidence to tear into my relatively new pistol and with a few hours I had accomplished just what I had hoped . Thanks to the M CARBO crew
Kit reduced the trigger pull to about 3.8 lbs. Over all I was very pleased. The video was a huge help.
WOW, this trigger spring kit has really improved this pistol. The entire job only took about ninety (90) minutes to complete. Most of the time was wet sanding and polishing the required parts. Reduced trigger weight by forty-five (45) percent. Pistol has performed perfect. I now have a M&P Shield 2.0 with a buttery smooth trigger. Another great pistol improvement product from MCARBO. Fine quality parts with expedited shipping service. This firearm had an average trigger pull of 6lb 4.7oz and this trigger kit took the trigger pull average to 2lb 5.9oz. If you are looking for a more crisp and lighter trigger pull this is the way to go. Don't forget to add the polishing kit to your order and polish everything trigger related.
Video instructions were outstanding. Never stripped a handgun prior to this. Trigger kit results were great. I have arthritis and this made a great difference for me.
As advertised, excellent product for a fraction of the cost of the complete Apex kit. I did the polish as shown in their video and added a Apex trigger shoe to my M&P Shield 9mm and dropped the trigger pull 3 1/2 lbs (I did polish the sear and shaved a bit to reflect the angles on the Apex sear block). Excellent trigger!!!!! Very smooth with a distinct wall and crisp break as well as a very short reset. Nice work guys!!!!
