This is a follow up of a review I had make earlier today. Not sure if you will post it? I had stated that I felt like the shipping charge was unfair. What I did not state was that I purchased 2 of the Shied Trigger Kits for $24.95 for a total of $49.90. I would have gladly paid the extra 10 cents to get the free shipping! The web site specifies $50.00 purchase, Free Shipping! Just a thought for the company to think about! Any clarification on this issue would be appreciated. Order # 388848.
What a great reduction in trigger pull! It went from 7.5lb to 4.5lb. Now I did polish everything I could and did some extra work on the sear. My problem was charging a shipping fee! If you have $50.00 free shipping listed, Then why did you not charge $25.00 for the product? I fee that is unfair! I should be reimbursed for the shipping fee or charged more for the product. I think that in the long run it will help you sell more product! I am being honest in this review!
All my parts were packaged well arrived quickly and were very reasonably priced. I followed video installation and it worked out great. Best trigger feel my gun has ever had. It is now a pleasure too fire. All grittiness is gone and gun fires perfectly. Could not be happier with purchase. Will use again if needed.
I did not use the striker block spring nor did I polish anything. Even so, there is a significant improvement in smoothness of trigger pull and a much lighter and crisper pull. Love this kit. I used it on 2 Shields, one 3” and one 4” barrel. Video instructions were perfect. If you have a magazine safety you do not need to remove the catch to remove the sear pin, just letting you cuz I spent some time trying to figure oit jow to remove before I realized the pin will come come out without removing it.
I don't have a trigger gauge but the trigger on my M&P Shield 2.0 went from very good to "Just outstanding"! The gun out of the box has a great trigger for me, but this kit made it even better! By watching the video it was a very easy job to do.
Bought one for both my 9mm and 45 ACP Shields, what a difference! Reasonable price, fast shipping and great customer service. Highly recommend. In total have bought four trigger kits, SCCY CPX-2, (2) M&P Shield and Ruger Model 77 GSR. Installation videos are a great help. My particular Ruger Model 77 was different than their installation video but I have the owners manual for take down and reassembly. Emailed customer service to ensure the kit would work on my model and received confirmation that it would indeed work in less than 24 hours. My only complaint is that that don’t make trigger kits for my two Ruger American pistols. (Just kidding, the Ruger American 45 ACP and Ruger American 45 ACP compact triggers are fine as is but if they were to offer trigger kits for them I’d be all in!)
I got the smith &Wesson 2.o spring kit and the trigger feel so much better now I will recommend it to anyone I did the polishing myself thanks I will be back to buy more for this company
Performed installation of M&P Shield Trigger Spring Kit, very simple, spent about 45 min. polishing but the results were worth it. Trigger pull is much smoother, and has crystal break with little take up. Pull results recorded with a 3 pull average measured with a Wheeler Digital Trigger Pull Scale. Before Kit Pull was 4 lbs. 7.2 ounces After Kit Pull was reduced to 2 lbs. 4.7 Ounces. Highly recommend this kit it makes a not so good gun shoot a lot better. Thanks Again M*Carbo Great Job
I just finished installing all the springs and cleaning up the machine marks on my first generation Shield. Previous to the upgrade I could not tactility feel the trigger reset. Afterwards it was definitely noticeable. The trigger pull was also greatly reduced. I did have some difficulty with the rear sight so make sure to use some PB Blaster or other penetrant prior to disassembly. The video was awesome and made this an easy job. Nice to get to know your gun intimately.
First attempt at any gun modification. Having a Massachusetts trigger means anything is an improvement.The first trip to the range was with a friend who had a big name kit installed in his identical gun. We ran a few mags thru both and found no noticable difference. I'm certain that after a few hundred rounds mine will feel even better. This definitely didn't give me a 2.5 lb. trigger, it did however give me a much smoother and enjoyable trigger..
I have the 4” performance center shield and this kit fits flawlessly. The install was easy and straight forward. I didn’t have to do much polishing so it only took about 45 minutes with taking my time. I would like to note that I have the Hyve monarch trigger and the trigger pull is about the same spring pressure that is required for the Hyve trigger safety. If my finger is located correctly on the trigger there is not an issue, but if I’m choked up on the trigger or my pad isn’t perfectly flat the safety does not disengage before it hits the frame. Not a huge issue and it might even help me work on my trigger finger placement and control. So far I am glad I installed the kit.
Was a fun and great kit to do. Had few issues with the sight removal but got past that.. Project turned out nice and shiny and looks and feels great. Product and install video are fabulous. Thank you to MCARBO.
Installed this spring kit and was pleasantly surprised with the results after being a skeptic. This kit will definitely reduce the LBS on the trigger pull without sacrificing the performance of the pistol. Will be purchasing more for other S&W's
Changed springs and reduced the pull by quite a bit. Happyvwith the results.
First off, this kit will also fit a Shield Plus & will fit a M1.0 & M2.0 Shield Too!! = Same Exact Springs JFYI It helped lighten the stroke on the trigger with the reduced power sear & striker springs & on the Performance Center pistols the factory return springs where lighter than the M*CARBO I ordered two kits for two of my four M&P Shields & should have ordered three total Have a bone stock M1.0 9mm that now is in need = Next Order
