This kit had everything needed, and the detailed video instructions made it simple to tackle to job. My heavy duty firing pin retaining pin did not fit my CZ's tight tolerances. I reached via email and had a new pin sent immediately that was crimped a bit tighter along with a some installation suggestion. It went in smoothly with no issues. Trigger pull is definitely lighter and more smooth! Highly recommended!
I was a bit skeptical but thought I would try it. I love shooting steel challenge and have competed mostly with glocks in the past. I bought my first CZ75 to shoot as it is rated most popular pistol in competition. After buying this gun and shooting it I immediately had buyers remorse. The trigger was nice but the double action was super heavy and the single action had no pressure wall and was much lighter. The combination of both made this gun completely un-shootable For me. I was just about to give up and sell it. I thought I would try to do something about the horrible trigger in this gun. I must say I was totally surprised with this kit. It lowered to trigger pull in the double action from 11 lbs down to 6. It lowered the single from 6 to 3. But the biggest benefit is the two trigger pulls feel closer to each other, and hardly noticeable change. The single action now has a pressure wall. I am totally happy. I did the spring change in sections. I started with the slide and check it. Then the trigger return spring and checked it and so on. I left the stock seat spring in because I felt that it improved the pressure wall feel. I was not looking for the lightest trigger I could get but the best feeling trigger I could get. The gun is now more shootable that it was. My only suggestion would be for you to add a lighter recoils spring into the pack as the factory 17 lbs spring makes the gun dip hard after recoil pulse. Many believe the hammer spring and the recoil spring are done togethe in tuning the gun. You don’t state what the hammer spring weight is, it leads to some guessing and experimenting on the recoil spring weight. I am trying a 13 lbs spring. I don’t shoot high velocity ammo in this gun just target loads. so with this all said hopefully you will take my subjection. Other than that great kit.
I didn’t install the spring in the sear cage because the pcr is a different process from the video example, but the rest of the kit made the trigger so good, I wonder if I even would have wanted any more pull reduction. The floating trigger pin is a must, as the original isn’t salvageable if it is flared at both ends. Highly recommend this kit! The trigger is not only lighter, but much smoother and controllable.
I used this product on my CZ PCR. I loved the gun, but just could not deal with the trigger. It was too stiff even with my "Reduced reach kit" in it and a flatter trigger. I even considered selling the gun... Now I love it like never before. It operates like butter! Can not say anything to the longevity of the product yet, but hope it will last. I highly recommend this kit. The word of warning though.... Dealing with the seer assembly in such models is NOT for the faint of heart or people with bad vision or shaky hands....
I've got a CZ-75 compact. $20 bucks!? Really!? Yup, that's all I needed to like my CZ-75 even more. Already loved it but this kit reduces the trigger pull from my reporting of an average ~9.8lbs DA and ~4lbs SA to ~5lbs DA and 1.8lbs SA respectively. However, I will admit that when I had the CZ apart, I polished some parts which contributed to an even lighter trigger pull. It was already a great gun to shoot but now even more enjoyable. I am not an expert nor a gunsmith but it was absolutely a breeze to do it myself. I watched the video twice and then once while doing it. I had the right tools and it was easy enough to do in about 45 min (with polishing time) for me. I would highly recommend if you have the CZ-75 compact. I will admit that the wife was not a fan of my CZ-75 but now likes it due to the lighter trigger pull.
it took me a while to get it done since that little firing pin lever return spring that the video warns you to be careful with since it gets lost easily, well, it got lost easily! LOL! once I purchase another firing pin lever return spring, I completed the installation the trigger feels absolutely awesome! double action feels a lot let heavier, and single action is very good. Have not taken it to the range yet but I can easily feel the difference compared to the original springs. My SP01 tactical feels absolutely much better before the upgrades that I both from MCarbo. it is well worth the time and effort. thank you for the great upgrades and at awesome prices!
I purchased the spring kit for my mossberg MC2C and was so impressed and happy with the quality and how great the trigger and gun feel now. I purchased a spring kit for my cz 75B omega along with the upgraded recoil spring and upgraded guide rod. Night and day difference and extremely happy with my upgrades! Highly recommended your company to my Local gun shop. It brought my DA to about an 7.5/8lbs pull and my SA down to a solid 3lbs!! Love this product and can’t wait to go shoot it.
Reduced the trigger pull by about a pound to 1.5 pounds. Installation was a breeze. Great product for a real good price. Definitely would recommend this product for anyone that uses an AR platform.
Springs and pin are as advertised. Appear to be good quality. Shipping was extremely quick.
Big thanks to M*Carbo for this affordable kit! The reduction in trigger pull weight and reset is awesome compared to factory! Had a little difficulty with the trigger pin removal and trigger return spring install, but the patience and effort was worth it.
Fast delivery even with the storm Florida had, easy to install and great installation instruction videos. I installed everything but the sear spring and that improvement alone i am very satisfied with. Thanks Mcarbo.
Great kit, install on the P-01 is a little different than the videos show. The decocker on the P-01 doesnt have the right side part of the assembly. Trigger pin is a pain in the ass (actually the hardest part of the kit for me). The pin on the P-01 is flared on both sides and the flare has to be pushed through from the right side, which doesnt pressure fit back in very well. Going to be ordering a floating trigger pin, but really wished it would have come with the kit. It would be worth the extra money on the kit.
I bought the CZ 75 spring kit for my Compact, installed it last night, went to the range today. Very happy with the new lighter trigger pull ! Installation video was excellent, but I had more luck with the trigger return spring by starting the retaining pin from the right side, tapping it in slightly, then inserting the spring with needle-nose and tapping the pin the rest of the way. I highly recommend this kit - well worth the price !!
This kit is awesome. The video instructions are awesome. I’ve never like a DA/SA pistol. But, I’ve recently purchased a CZ for competition and wanted one for carry. This has turned my carry gun into an awesome firearm. Now, the DA trigger is very usable, to the point it feels like a high end striker fired handgun. The SA now feels like a high end 1911 trigger. Just a great value for the money. I highly recommend it. Be aware, the installation will take over an hour. But, it’s easily doable with the great video instructions.
Bought the kit for my PO6. The double action was reduced to slightly over 5 lbs 14.5 oz . The single action pull is incredibly low at 1 lb. 11.2 oz.
This is a phenomenal product. It takes a great weapon and turns it into an amazing pistol. The difference in trigger pull in DA and SA is night and day. Absolutely amazed. I have read horror stores in the difficulty of doing work on CZs but the video tutorials on the website are top notch. It's like having your own personal armorer guiding you every step of the way.
