Review
I purchased two CZ trigger spring kits, one for my 97BD and the other for my Rami. After the install I was able to take it out to the range and I absolutely love how light my trigger feels after installing both the trigger spring kit from MCarbo and the trigger from Cajun Works. Highly, highly recommend trigger spring kit from MCarbo and as always, shipping and handling is superb!
Just finished installing the kit on my SP-01 Tactical. As good as the kit is the MCARBO videos are the best on the internet as they are clear, concise and 100% accurate especially on the search cage. The only thing that they cannot help with is how tight some of the pins can be. Great products in every way. Customer service is outstanding.
I shoot Idpa and first shot was always hit or miss. Definitely better trigger pull. Follow video instructions and listen to everything. There are a few nuggets of info that’s easy to miss. Put 100 rounds down range with no problems. Buying guide rod and spring next. Then onto s@w shield
Trigger feels so much better.
Excellent instructions, made a huge difference!
Installed on gun, worked as stated. Did it in the decoker model and the installation video was definitely a big help.
Stock single action was 5 lbs 4.6 oz average. Installed the lifer spring and firing pin spring and the average dropped to 5 lbs 1.6 oz. Not bad and expected. About a year later after 1000 plus rounds or so it was time to install the trigger spring and maybe the sear spring. For the trigger spring I punted the way too short installation pin. I used a 3/16 wood dowel lightly sanded and cut to exact length after the trigger bar - trigger spring - trigger was assembled outside the pistol. So much easier to install the MCARBO trigger pin. Now the sear cage pin is as noted in another review is a bit too short. It works but I would have felt safer with that assembly if it was a bit longer. And the video says just quickly push the sear cage pin back through to install the sear cage. Don't do this as you will likely have to reinstall that tiny little spring as was done in the install video. Instead just work the CZ pin through keeping firm compression between the two pins. At the end there will be some misalignment due to the springs. Gently moving the the spring bodies back-forth and down is what is needed. Lets talk about the decocker removal - the video skips some important information! One of the sear cage springs has a leg that rests in a groove on the decocker pin. It has be be lifted for the decocker to be removed. AND on reassembly, it has to be lifter again to get the decocker pin to slide past the sear cage spring leg. Put some masking tape on the area around the decocker pin when reinstalling the retaining decocker lever. Easy for the pry device to slip off the spring loaded retaining clip and scratch the finish. Lastly I polished all the wear points on the trigger bar and cage plus the trigger pin. I used Simichrome and I have a mechanical flat for smoothing out flat areas. Right now trigger pull is 3 lbs 10 oz average. This is a good value and I doubt I will install the sear spring. 4 star due to the missing decocker details in the installation video.
Hi all. I bought a lot of different spare parts for my CZ 75B omega pistol and was satisfied. The quality is excellent, everything is easy to install and the video explains very clearly how and where to post the spare part. Everything is super. You are great. Keep up the work. Waiting for new updates on spare parts.
Ok I've only ever done a basic field strip if a pistol. So this was a undertaking. 5 stars on the how to video. The only thing that really was hard was the trigger return spring. Other then that it was pretty straight forward. SA is great. The DA not as light as I thought it would be. But still much better then stock. I am happy with the results.
A well put together ket that will make your weapon so much smoother to operate
Great product!! Gun shoots very smooth and light. Able to acquire targets and shoot quicker with the lighter springs. Less movement on target as the trigger is pulled. Thanks guys, you just made my CZ my favorite gun and most deadliest. Price and quality are the best!! Retired SF !!
I have an actually got to shoot a pistol yet but just from the dry fire man let me tell you huge huge difference I cannot wait to shoot this thing now
you cannot go wrong with this kit, the 75 is one of my favorites, just made it better
Spring work great may actually be a bit to light but like them so far, still had to buy some parts from Cajun Gun Works because I destroyed my lift spring and wanted a better trigger, but all in all save on some cash and happy with my purchase. A slave pin is highly recommended CZ are a pain to work on and I forgot how bad they can be.
This spring kit made a big difference with the trigger pull, especially with the DA. The videos on how to install are very well made and helpful. Will be looking forward to installing kits with other pistols.
