Ordered a second kit to install into my other czpo1 . Installed everything except the firing pin spring because it was missing in the kit. Contacted customer service and they wanted a picture of the kit that was already installed? I am not removing all the pieces just to prove I didn’t receive a $5 spring. So I ordered a $5 spring from Cajun gun works to complete the assembly. Glad this was my back up czpo1 since I carry every day. First kit was excellent, second kit was not as flawless, but once completed I have faith it will work well.
Installed this in my CZ 75B, very easy with the videos. I also did some polishing so I can't quantify the results, but it certainly lightens everything up. Zero malfunctions to date. Add the trigger pin!! The best 12 bucks you'll ever spend. Don't ruin your frame trying to drive that beat up old roll pin back in.
Springs made a world of difference . I don't have a gauge for trigger, but it is smooth and much lighter on both single and double action . I would STRONGLY recommend watching the video BEFORE you start (especially when you get to the sear spring replacement ) I did not watch first and ended up exploding my sear cage . With help from other videos I was able to reconstruct the cage but DON'T DO THAT ! The video was a bit vague on at least one point . 1 ; There was a small washer on the decocker that I was not aware of how to remove and your video didn't even mention that particular type of set up . My P01 has a single sided decocker and it is a bit different in set up and take down . I needed to watch other vids to see how to remove the washer to pull out decocker lever . ( it was ridiculously simple ) It should be at least mentioned in the vid . All in all it was fairly simple (except for the cage) Sear was tricky . Nice kit, decent instruction ... M Carbo does it again !! Haven't fired it yet , but bench tests great !
This kit was a fantastic way to make a cz po1 to shoot even better. I used the slave pin and everything went well. The sear cage came out with no problem at all. I then decided to take the cage all apart to have the capability and know how of doing this. I now understand ever part of the po1 and I feel like a master gunsmith. Make sure you have patience and a lot of time to do this on your first go. Watch the YouTube videos and be ready to look for a few springs that may go flying. But the success at the end is well worth it and the weigh of the actions will be cut in half.i would also recommend the floating trigger pin, it is a fantastic upgrade for the cz po1.
I have owned my CZ75B for more than 25 years, and it was used when i bought it at a gun show. After first addressing a few issues it had, I have enjoyed owning and shooting it all those years. Yesterday, I spent several hours replacing all of the trigger springs. Due to my total lack of experience as a gunsmith, it took much longer than I expected. The results were amazing, resulting in a much lighter and smoother trigger pull. My old CZ has a new and bright life. Thank you
Great quality parts and the customer support is A+.Had a minor issue with the install (75BD single side decocker) contacted customer service. They sent a video from a competitors install that helped very much. These guys really do care about the customer. Will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for quality parts and outstanding customer support!!
Installation was easy with help from the video. DA/SA pull weight is much better. First 150 rounds without any issues.
I just purchased a new carry gun, CZ 75D PCR, but the trigger pull weight was 12# DA and 5# SA. I'm older with arthritic hands and needed a lighter trigger pull. I ordered the trigger spring kit for the decocker model and the floating trigger pin which ended up the perfect modifications for this gun. I don't like too light a trigger on my carry guns and this kit was perfect giving me now a DA of 8.5# and a SA of 3.5#. The video installation instructions given by Chris was outstanding. The printable instruction with pictures was also quite nice. You should have no problem installing this modification if you are somewhat familiar with your pistols workings, have a lot of patience, and a full day you can take your time without any interruptions. Don't get frustrated. If you do, just walk away for awhile, have a pepsi, and relax. You will be able to make a nice improvement to your pistol. The instructions will show you how to remove the decocking lever on those models that have both the right and left side levers. The PCR only has the lever on the left side, not shown in the video, making the removal much simpler. Just lift the long leg of the sear spring, which captures the decocking lever, and pull the decocking lever straight out. Before pushing out the sear pin on the PCR there is a small round retaining washer that has to be removed. This is on the left side end of the pin. Once this is removes you will be able to push the sear pin out. I would recommend M*Carbo for all your parts and modifications as I will be doing. Their customer service, easy ordering, parts quality, and fast shipping was excellent.
This kit is as advertised . The how to videos are as good as I seen , so it is pretty easy with basic gun assembly/disassembly hand tools . The trigger spring install tool was not great so I made my own . I gotta say the trigger is now very good and if I had invested a little time in polishing it would likely be as good the P01 I paid big money to those cajuns down in Louisiana to upgrade. Thank you MCARBO
Nice kit with quality springs but for me the trigger return spring is too light. I installed the kit and after I took my CZ75B to the range I put the factory trigger return spring back in.
A nice kit, well worth the money and relatively small amount of time needed to install it. I installed the kit yesterday following the M*Carbo YouTube video available. Only slow part was getting the stubborn firing pin retaining pin out, which was not the kit's fault, of course. After that, everything was relatively easy. The trigger is definitely nicer with the lighter springs. I do recommend removing the magazine guide pin, part 25 in the CZ 75 Instruction Manual, first, then the main spring plug pin, part 23, which allows the magazine guide to be both removed and replaced with very simply and quickly with no mods to the magazine guide. I did this yesterday in probably 5 minutes total clock time to 1) look at the part of the part of a video dealing with the hammer spring replacement and 2) remove and replace the hammer spring. See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xUJHmQZoHw4.
I previously put a M*Carbo spring kit in my P09. That was fairly easy, especially with the video. Putting a kit in the SP01 Tactical was a little more frustrating, but, in the end, the trigger pull is much better! Once again, the M*Carbo video was a huge help. I know I'll be putting this spring kit in my 75BD at some point. I feel that will go a lot quicker and with less frustration this time. I'm glad to have a better trigger pull and have more knowledge of the firearm.
I order the spring kit for my cz shipped super fast watched vid on YouTube and went step by step with video take your time and be patient my first time doing this and i complete the job after done spring kit is amazing it reduced trigger weight as advertised nite and day difference 👌 would buy again
I couldn’t find video so I used another companies video. The sear block and decocker on the Omega is totally different. Also, the slave pin in the bag for the trigger return spring is too small in diameter. Had to make my own. I’m satisfied with the trigger pull reduction but once you reach the wall after the extreme amount of trigger travel. The trigger is very gritty before the break. Which makes it difficult to determine when the break will release the hammer. Do y’all make a kit to reduce the long trigger travel?
I wanted to try a couple of things first before tearing down the entire decocker assembly. The factory trigger spring is extremely heavy and would generally cause me to pull my shots to the right. I started installing the kit in a different way than usual. I started with the easiest to the hardest. I swapped out the firing pin andretainer springs first no big deal there. Except the newly improved hardened firing pin retainer pin nearly ruined my firing pin. Im not sure ifI just had it cocked off too far one direction or another but it seemed larger than the stock ping, which by the way CZ is now using what appears to be a better actual roll pin than the cheap metal rolled ones. So I could actually reuse it no problem. After that I swapped out the trigger pin and the trigger spring then the hammer spring. WOW what a difference!! No more crunchy trigger, trigger pulls on rapid fire are just smooth as can be. I dont know if Im going to delve into the last spring. If it aint broke dont fix it I say. I was on a mission to reduce trigger pull weight. mission accomplished as far as I am concerned. If I see the need I will replace the final spring, but at this point I see no need. NOW my 75D pcr is perfect!!
Installed the kit an I’m not sure it made any difference, I don’t have a trigger pull gauge but trigger feels as heavy as it did before but they were right when they said the CZ Firing Pin Retaining Pin sucks! When installing the Heavy Duty Firing Pin Retaining Pin I noticed that my stock CZ pin had broken in small pieces lol. Hopefully the Mcarbo pin will do the job!
