The spring kit is everything that was said, and enplaned it would do. My CZ-75 compact had a heavy trigger pull stock, now, it's so smooth at the Double Action trigger pull, Single Action is right and appreciated. Your online video was a great help in placement of the spring kit. Thank you M*CARBO for a good priced right, worth every cent product. And, as a veteran of the 82nd ABN division, and as a former SWAT police officer, I "SALUTE" your business for your support. "All the way, and then some"
Am pleased with results. Mcarbo spring kit along with vide was a pleasant instal.
This upgrade was for my 75 SP01, i took some specs of before and after. OEM Parts SA=4 lbs 1 oz DA=9 lbs 12 oz MCARBO Kit SA=3 lbs DA=7 lbs Needless to say im very happy. Great quality, great product.
I ordered the Trigger Spring Kit for my CZ 75 Compact. I watched Chris's installation video several times waiting for my kit to arrive. Everything went smoothly with the installation. The kit reduced the trigger pull by 50%. I truly recommend this kit for any CZ, great gun except for the trigger pull. Thanks M-CARBO
I’m a new CZ owner and found your product. It did exactly as advertised and the video tutorials made the upgrade super easy! Thanks again for your focus and continued support! Mark V in MD
This kit is easy to install and makes a big difference in the DA and SA trigger pull. I am a new gun owner, loved the CZ 75 Compact, but did not like the DA trigger pull. It made shooting a tight group from holster difficult as the 1st shot was always a little off. The kit is easy to install, the YouTube video is incredibly helpful and the support staff is very quick in responding to questions. Overall the best $30 you will spend on your CZ - now upgrade the sights and get to the range!
I ordered 2 of these and a floating trigger pin. The quality is as good as Cajun, and the price was much better. I still can't believe how fast this was shipped.
I have done a considerable amount of tinkering with my firearms and have done several glass bedding jobs and several trigger jobs on rifles in the past. M1A1 being the most difficult I have done so far. This was my first pistol trigger job and it was a little tedious and not for the impatient. With that said I watched the de-cocker model video several times and had it up as I worked through the install process. It was great , and the detail helped significantly by rewinding back to specific sections. Getting the trigger spring in and getting the sear spring in was a little challenging and required significant patience and manipulation on both to line up the short install pins but once done worked like champ. I dropped 1.25 lbs on single action and 3 lbs on the double action pull. Took about 2 to 3 hours though with lots of rewinding. Product worked and installed as advertised but requires time, patient and some skills with working with small parts.
Just got back from the range after installing this product. What a difference, the pull was half of what it was before installation and the trigger reset was nice and smooth. I can not say enough about the company's follow up and customer service. I would give them 6 out of 5 stars if I could. The installation video made it easy for even a novice like myself.
Great product. Video looks easy to follow but took me awhile to do it. Im a rookie when it comes changing things on my gun though but if you know how to disassemble and re install parts of your gun it will be easy. Im happy I did it though. Just need to test it to the range.
I purchased the CZ 75 Trigger Spring Kit and Floating Trigger Pin for my CZ 75D PCR. Chris’ installation video is a Godsend. I watched it a couple of times before I attempted the job and followed it step-by-step during the process. There was one difference between the SP-01 shown in the video and my gun. The CZ 75D PCR has a single de-cock lever on the left side of the frame; it’s not ambidextrous as depicted in the video. I had a hard time removing it. There is a thin metal disk covering the right-side of the de-cock lever pin. I’m not sure of its purpose but I loosened it with a punch by tapping on it a few times and removed it by sliding it forward. Then I few more taps on the end of the pin to free the de-cocking lever. Everything else went exactly as presented in the video, to include ejecting the firing pin block lever spring. Mine makes a gloriously faint “tink” sound when it hits something around my work bench. In the video, Chris describes that spring as “frequently lost, rarely found”. Maybe for the weak, but not this guy! I launched that sucker a good three or four times before it finally disappeared forever. M*CARBO should probably offer that item in their web store. I finally sourced one (three, actually) and completed the job a week later. Before installing the kit my trigger pull averaged out to 11lb 5oz (DA), 8lb 10oz (de-cocked) and 4lb 13oz (SA). After installation average pulls were 10lb 14oz (DA), 8lb 0oz (de-cocked) and 3lb 8oz (SA) plus a lot of the grit disappeared. Since I only shoot with a de-cocked or single action trigger, I'm happy with the results.
This trigger spring kit does exactly as advertised. Cuts your trigger pull in half! Installation video was excellent. Even though I'm a total novice when it comes to gunsmithing and an old guy (30 yr Vet who retired 20 yrs ago) with poor eyesight and shaky hands, I was still able to accomplish this upgrade resulting in a silky smooth 4.5 lb trigger pull on my CZ 75B. Will definitely buy this upgrade again for some of my other pistols. Thanks M Carbo p.s. tried to give this 5 stars but for some reason the rating box would only accept 4 stars
The parts were excellent, shipped quickly and professionally packaged. The support this company offers (via installation videos, etc.) Is second to none, and you can tell that they take great pride in their work. I would recommend this kit to anyone. Great value, and excellent quality.
I ordered this kit for my CZ 75B Omega Convertible. It helps tremendously with the trigger pull and the customer service is top notch. They answered all my questions promptly to ensure I got the correct kit and then when I could not find info on my particular sear cage, they pointed me to a video that explained my setup perfectly. I will be a return customer. I have never experienced such a high quality of customer service and the parts they manufacture seem to be top shelf.
Trigger spring feels smooth and light simple to install
