Had a very choppy secondary trigger pull on my SP01 tryed polishing but just wasn't happy well over 12lbs installed trigger spring kit took me about 25min was very easy just went slow and was carefull, put gun back together was nice and light break could finally feel the fence til it for a test drive felt a bit gritty at wall so I held the exposed hamer with my hand and ran the trigger double action 100 times now runs flawless couldn't be happier highly recommend this kit if running a CZ at front sight academy or if you do competitve shooting.
spring kit quality are great. dimensions are exact as stock springs. easy to install without any hitch. polished a bit of the internals using 1000/2000 grit sand paper. had improved DA to 8 lbs and 3.75 lbs on SA. will test in the range to see how it pars out. customer service is great and fast shipping time. will order again
I am normally a bit leery about changing spring rates due to inducing reliability issues but MCARBO was recommended by trusted friend. These guys have done their homework! The product and the installation video is done exceptionally well. I was dissatisfied with the accuracy of my CZ75B due to the trigger prior to installation of the kit and in fact was considering selling the firearm or leaving it in the back of the safe. I am very pleased with its operation now and it will get to spend some time out of the safe! Accuracy is much improved and reliability has not been compromised.
I ordered 2 sets of springs and only one came. I was worried about the customer service call, but they were great and shipped the second set of springs quickly without question. I will be buying again just based on the excellent customer service. That being said, the spring kit is great too, my 75b has a single action pull less that 3 lbs now.
I saw their video on YouTube and for the price figured I'd try them out. Took a good hour for the install, but as long as you take your time and follow the steps, it's very doable. Took the double action down to around six pounds, and the single to about two and a half. But, every once in awhile, it wouldn't reset. The trigger would stay stuck to the rear. Checked the seer cage, springs, pins, etc... But couldn't find anything out of sorts. Contacted them and they responded very quickly and sent out another kit to fix the issue. They also emailed to find out how things were working afterwards. I love that this is an American made product, run by Vets. But it's also a great product. I will be coming back for my next upgrade for sure.
Ordered the trigger spring kit with added floating trigger pin for my CZ75 Compact. I had an issue with the firing pin retaining pin. Upon notification, Richard at Tech Support sent me a replacement pin with informed instructions. An all around pleasant experience. I'm anticipating getting a trigger/spring kit for my PMR30 next! I bought the MCARBO spring replacement kit for my CZ75. The installation video was spot on. Everything went as demonstrated in the video. I also replaced my hammer with a CGW decocker hammer while I had everything apart. I ended up with a 3.25 lb SA trigger pull. The DA pull is still north of 10 lbs but I can’t really measure it because I bought a cheap Wheeler pull gauge which can’t measure pulls above 8 lbs.
Wow, For the price and what you get this kit covers it all. Took a little time, but the outcome is well worth it. No doubt the best kit on the market. My PCR is my CCW carry gun above my Sig P239 now. Thanks M CARBO for helping us Proud Gun Owners.
I have a CZ75 SP01. I love this handgun, but the DA trigger has always been almost too heavy for me...especially when I want to use the gun in IDPA matches, so I was excited to find this kit. Two things sold me...the quality of materials and the outstanding installation video. I have always been kind of daunted about the complexity of the gun, and had not found any vids that I comfortably could follow. Chris is an excellent instructor and I did the swap out just fine. I won’t say it was super easy...you need a bit of dexterity and a lot of patience. My gun has ambi safety, and the gun in the video didn’t, so I had to figure that out. Anyway...DA and SA trigger pulls are 1/2 of what they were! Thanks M*CARBO! I just ordered another trigger kit for my Mosin.
Nice little spring set. Informative videos: M*Carbo was out of CZ SP-01 spring sets for quite some time, so I went with CGW's -- used M*Carbo's guide on YouTube. I am using these springs for IWI's and Tagfoglios, as needed. Steel-framed CZ and their clones and M*Carbo -- Strong team, eh? Many thanks, M*Carbo!
I had the spring kit installed in my P-01 Omega by a local gunsmith Who’s very familiar with CZ pistols. Before: DA - 11lbs+, SA 6 lbs After: DA - 7.5lbs, SA 2.75~3.0lbs!!! No other changes made and it’s a different pistol. HIGHLY recommend the MCarbo spring kit!
Installed spring kit along with extra power recoil spring and improved trigger pin in my 21 year old CZ 85B. The trigger spring installation was probably the most difficult part but the instruction video was very good. Trigger pull was significantly improved and the gun ran flawlessly. It also worked well with my CZ Kadet .22 conversion slide. Shipping was fast. Will get MCARBO springs for some of my other guns in the future.
This was my first time changing out the springs on any pistol, and by following the instructions in the videos got it all completed and very happy with the change in the trigger pull. I had one small difficulty where another part of my gun had fallen out when trying to replace the sear spring. I sent an email to them with a picture of it, and they sent me back instructions as to where it goes in my gun. Great customer service! Highly recommend them.
