I have used two of these kits in my CZs. The decocker models take a lot of patience, but Youtube helps. These spring kits take your CZ from a good pistol to damn near perfect.
I took my time installing every piece and saved the seer for last, since that one looked the most intimidating part to install after watching the install video for a decocker model. I also watched the non decocker model video even though SP-01 was not listed in the video description. I realized that is more applicable to my SP-01 without a decocker. I originally skipped watching it since the SP-01 was not listed in the description. I would suggest to add SP-01 non decocker model in the description for that video. The seer was a lot easier to install without the decocker. I have not taken my CZ to the range yet, but I can already feel the difference dry firing.
Works great and video was excellent and easy to follow. Went together the first time with the sear cage apart no problem! Thanks guys😎😎
Bought the kit and followed the video guide. Easy to follow and was a smooth installation. I also added the floating pin. I'm very impressed with the difference in the trigger pull, both single and double. I know three guys at the range who have CZ's also. I'll be showing them the improvements the kit has given me. Super fast shipping and the upgrade is great. Trigger upgrade does exactly what it says it will do. Step by step installation video made it a breeze. I do recommend watching the video a few times before starting.
Received my kit 2 weeks ago. Installed it over that weekend. Kit is well organized and packed. Feels well made. Installation was not exactly easy. But that is due to the nature of the gun. Video instruction was clear and helpful. Stock trigger pulls were 11.3/6.4 DA/SA After installation, pulls were 9.7/4.8 DA/SA So not quite the almost 50% reduction as advertised. Closer to 10-25%. Disappointed by the results, hence the 3 star.
Put this kit in and now single action trigger pull is 1.8 lbs awesome kit
Great spring kit, makes a really nice trigger even better. The YouTube video gives you step by step instructions. Would recommend this and the floating trigger pin to anyone.
I like it didn’t get the reduction that video showed but I did order wrong kit . Ordered non de cocker and I have de cocker on p01. Helped a bunch maybe I’ll order right one lol. Thnx for great product.
The kit arrived quickly and went in fairly easy. I replaced the little plastic dowel that was supposed to hold in place the trigger spring with a piece of sturdy copper wire long enough to go through the sides and spring. It made the replacing of the trigger pin a lot easier. The boys at the shop were always on hand when ever I needed to speak with someone. This upgrade was fantastic and well worth the time.
I ordered this with Hope's to upgrade my cz 75 sp 01. The delivery was fast and everything fit perfectly . My only complaint is the little piece of plastic that is used for a slave pin when you reinstall the trigger spring should be metal. While I was trying to reinstall the trigger, that piece of plastic broke very easily and what should have taken a few minutes turned into 2 hours. But I eventually found something to use and got the pistol put back together and the operation is very good. Its worth every penny.
Recently installed this kit in my Tristar C100, then did a buddy’s CZ 75 Compact today. He couldn’t be happier.
Had most of the Cajun springs but the reduced power trigger return spring so wanted to give M*Carbo a try. Used all their springs including the sear spring. The firing pin retaining pin seemed a little large for the P120 so kept the original for now. I also polished up all the recommended parts. Went to the range and it worked like a champ. Trigger is way smoother and comes in a about 7 lb. on DA and 3.5 lb. on SA. If I get brave I may try taking off one coil to go one step lighter. Its only a range gun. I also made my own metal slave pin out of a finish nail for the Trigger return spring. The one sent is a little cheesy! Do yourself a favor and watch all the videos you can for install and polish before starting. Getting the sear spring in was a little challenging but just be patient and keep trying and you will get it. Using slave pins and punches in the holes to guide pins is the secret. The service I received from Chris and the gang was second to none. they are great to work with.
i like it so far just installed it. if it shoots like it feels i would give it a 5 but have not been to the range yet
I dont usually do reviews but this is a exception. I purchased this kit to reduce trigger pull. It is not exactly for my gun since i own the compact CZ 75 decocker model. This a different kind of build. It will take some patience to accomplish it , but the end results will impress you. After i completed it i saw double action pull reduction of about 3 .5 pounds . The cocked pull reduced by 2.5 pounds. I also saw a reduction in the ability to decock the hammer. Unfortunately i broke a very small spring on final assembly. This spring is for a firing pin blocker lever. I do think that this spring should be added to the kit as part of it since it will be other broke or lost. If not you can find them on sale at Cajun gun works. I willsay that dealing with MCARBO is a pleasant experience. They will help you through the process and the install video is excellant If you purchase this kit for a compact all parts will work except the hammer spring. What you do with the new one in the kit is your choice. My gun works great now and i am very happy i took the time to do it.
Installed the Rami version of M*Carbo CZ 75 Trigger Spring Kit adapter for the Rami. The results were astounding, The take up is much smoother and the break is like glass the pull measurements were taken with a Wheeler Digital Trigger Scale and used a 5 pull average. The Double action before M*Carbo was7.0.6 & Sngl. Action was 3.3.7lbs. After M*Carbo spring kit the DBL. Action was 3.0.1 and the SNGL. Action was 1.11.7 lbs. Terrific results, Caution if the gun is for carry the trigger is on the light side, be CAREFUL.
