Awesome Spring kit . M Carbo Video on install is a life saver. It's a little tricky but with the supplied pin and shim it makes it a lot easier. Take your time and follow the instructions on the video and it all comes together. The difference is amazing .Thanks.
Thanks so much for a great product. Was going to install myself but had an auto accident between ordering and receiving. Called and spoke with Abby and she guided me through the process of shipping my gun to you. Thanks so much for your help. Got it back Monday. Double action pull is unfortunately 8.5 pounds but the single action is down to 3lbs which is great. Hopping after shooting a few hundred rounds, the DA will lighten up.
Great Kit and Great Video; the video was a life/time saver. Definitely made an already Awesome gun that much more great! Recommend this kit 100%. So easy even a caveman could do it (me)
First off I would like to give a big shout out to the M*CARBO team. They have been very helpful with parts orders and feedback and it is much appreciated, thank you. The install video is great also, and there are some subtle differences between the 75 and the 97B with installing, but they are not difficult to figure out. When I purchased my CZ 97B I was not enthusiastic about the trigger. The DA aspect of the trigger is too heavy. I get it that it is a safety feature. It is unforgiving and in all honesty it did help me to learn to shoot the gun better. After a while though it became annoying. I started researching trigger upgrades and decided on the M*CARBO CZ 75 trigger kit, CZ 75 recoil spring, and floating trigger pin. It was a learning experience doing the switch out and WOW what an improvement with the performance of the trigger. The DA and SA pulls have decreased by at least 50% and I honestly feel like this is how the gun should be set up. It is a much more natural trigger pull for both DA and SA and I couldn't be happier with the M*CARBO products. Solid all around, this gun is now ready to rock and roll!
I ordered this kit and the floating pin, given I wanted to changed the clothes out on my "Barbie Gun" (Shadow 2) and figured it was an opportune time for an upgrade. As shallow as it sounds I decided to try MCarbo solely based on a few reviews and Chris' Rockwell 50 statement of OVERKILL...hard as axe head. A la Tool Time grunt worthy. Once I did the Shadow 2 I had to do the 97B as well, just seemed the right thing to do. Check pull pics attached, I was amazed how light the pull got, so I checked and triple-checked and took the highest readings. Wicked reduction and still shoots fantastic. Great guns and easy to modify and work on.
Installed the spring kit for my cz75b and just wanted to say what a nice improvement. Much easier to shoot tight groups
I had the trigger spring kit installed on my CZ P 01 & it was amazing. It reduced the double action pull from about 11 pounds to about 7 pounds. The single action from about 4.5 pounds to about 2.5 pounds. Everything works perfect.
Nice Kit, my OE double action was dreadful with a nasty trigger slap. This kit reduced the double action by a couple of pounds and eliminated the trigger slap. My only recommendation would be to direct all Omega owners to P07-P09 install video, that would eliminate some confusion for Omega owners as to which install video to watch. Other than that well done, thank you
I loved the product and found your installation videos to be very helpful. I have the CZ75P01 Decocker molded with the aluminum frame. All the springs went in without a hitch until I came to the notorious sear. I ended up bending my lever spring in a weird orientation and have to order a new one. (My fault completely) The only thing that in the kit that gave me some hiccups was the provided slave pin. I would have liked to see it slightly bigger. The size Made it to where there was a lot of wiggle room when installing it and may have been easier if it was a little more flush to the sear dimensions. But again I did slightly mess up on the installation and instead of using the punch to guide it I left a small gap between them which led to the springs pushing down on the slave pin causing the lever spring to bend. Again completely my fault. I am an amputee and I’m missing all the finger on my right hand so that may have contributed to it. I just have to order a new lever pin and I’ll be set. Over all an amazing product and installation videos were a huge help. The only thing I would like to see is a slave pin fit a little more firmly towards the dimensions of the sear. Like most reviews here, the trigger on my CZ P-01 was not the best. Heavy DA, decent SA. And extremely hard to rack without cheese grating your fingers. I ordered my kit while it was on backorder. And props to M*Carbo for emailing me to advise it was on backorder. I really liked the personal touch. Kit shipped a day or so after the website showed they were back in stock. Again, props for that. As for the kit. Worth every penny they're asking. And honestly, it's not a lot for what you get. The instruction vid is very detailed. I did refer to it a few times. The one thing I had no intention of touching was the sear. Even with the new video I'm not tackling that. Those springs are just too tiny and prone to becoming .... lost. Which brings me to the trigger return spring. Even following the M*Carbo video and other youtube vids, I managed to launch the included TRS into the stratosphere while installing. Honestly, this was the hardest part of the whole kit install (sans sear). And I even did a trigger shoe swap at the same time. The reason I lost my spring was how hard it was to get that short leg behind the trigger. For some reason reinstalling the OEM spring was easy. I was ordering another kit for a Sig, so I paid sales to include a CZ TRS. I got 2!! Which was a good thing. The first reinstall of the new TRS resulted in a mushy trigger. It worked, but wasn't snappy. Removing the spring show the short leg had deformed on install. Interestingly, the spare M*Carbo TRS went right in. Trigger functions perfectly. In all, this is a great kit. I do think they could include an extra TRS right off. And you most definitely want the floating trigger pin. Makes the install, and any removal/reinstalls much easier. Include the FTP in as an option, charge a bit more. As for the feel, I can't measure the pull in #s. But it's much smoother, easier on the DA. The SA is not so light as to be a "hair" trigger. Very happy with the kit. Can't beat it for the $$s. Giving it 5 stars because of M*Carbo's support.

Installed all but the sear spring. 10.5 #double action and 5.5 # single action before installation. After spring kit installed double action 8.9# and single action 3.11#. Great spring kit!!
I have installed CZ 75 trigger kit to my P-01. I am very happy with the result. Single action is 3.75 pounds and double action is 7 pounds.

Following extremely helpful installation video, I installed all the new springs provided in the kit without polishing any parts. The results (both double and single action pulls) accede expectations. I am also using DPM Systems Technologies recoil improvement triple spring rod. As a result I got 380 acp level of recoil in a 9mm gun, reduced muzzle jump and a match-like trigger by M*CARBO. Perfect "marriage"!
THIS SPRING KIT DOES JUST WHAT IT SAYS IT DOES. THE VIDEO INSTALL IS NOT FOR THE OMEGA SERIES PISTOLS. SEE THE P-07 VIDEO FOR A BETTER INSTALL. THAT IS WHAT I USED FOR THE INSTALL AND ALSO THE POLISHING OF INTERNAL PARTS OF THE PISTOL WHICH BETTER REPRESENT THE INTERNALS OF THE P-01 OMEGA. ALSO MY OMEGA CAME WITH THE FLOATING TRIGGER PIN INSTALLED. PURCHASE DATE 12/23/2020. AFTER ALL IS SAID AND DONE MY P-01 OMEGA HAS THE TRIGGER PULL THAT RIVALS MY SHADOW 2 WHICH IS ALSO GETTING THE MCARBO SPRING KIT ! BEST OPTION FOR THE VALUE.
