The products were easy to install, feel solid and resulted is smoother operation and and much lighter trigger pull. Next step - take it to the range for the "moment of truth".
The product did exactly what is advertised. In addition, what impress me is the support I received from the staff. Their videos and personnel's advises made me install it successfully. FYI this is the first time I worked on my CZs. It gave me sense of accomplishment to know that I can do it. Thanks a million!
So, I bought the spring kit and the polishing kit because Chris made it look SO easy. Well, it was a bit more difficult for me than it was for him but it was my first time. That said, it’s not too difficult if you take your time. I had my iPad next to me with the video playing for help...and it did, a lot. Sanding and polishing were easy. Buy a tube of the Super Lube because IT DOES NOT COME IN THE KIT. It took me some time to reassemble my 07 but I got it done with no parts left over...always a good thing and it functions perfectly. Trigger pull in both DA&SA is very much improved. This was well worth the cost, time and effort. The bonus is that I learned a lot about my firearm.
Definitely an upgrade. Great job on the video. I followed along with the video which made me feel like I was a gun smith for an hour. lol. I will do this upgrade to my PCR. Anyway, lightly sanded and then polished on all the groups and swapped the springs in this kit, what a difference. I don't have a trigger tester but I would guess the double action is somewhere around 7 or 8 lbs, but the single action I would guess maybe 2.5 to 3,. It's really slick, my first thoughts were WOW, for the price of this kit, definitely worth it.
Purchased the spring kit and it arrived pretty fast. Broke the handgun down to the bare frame and cleaned everything. Carefully polished all the rough edges off the appropriate parts, then reassembled with the new spring kit components. WOW... what a difference! Sadly, I don't own a trigger pull gauge to make a comparison, but it definitely changed the amount of effort it takes to pull the trigger. I would estimate it cut the pull effort in half. Going to the range this weekend for some much-needed trigger time, so we will see if this also improves my accuracy, especially on the DA.
Ordered the MCARBO P09 Trigger Spring Kit at the same time I ordered my CZ P09 from Bud's Gun Shop. Once the P09 arrived, I immediately went to work installing the spring kit and polishing the select internal per the MCARBO video. Overall, the video provided excellent guidance on disassembling and re-assembling the P09. The decocker was a little fussy going back together, but re-watching that section of the video helped identify what I was doing wrong. Admittedly, I have no real DA/SA trigger time unless you consider an occasional range trip with a Ruger Redhawk 44mag as an acceptable alternative. First range trip with the new CZ P09 was outstanding. I took along my M&P 9mm for comparison and the P09 was grouping nearly 50% smaller. Great firearm and great trigger kit and installation video! The kit reduced double action fron 9.4 to 6.2, and the single action from 5.6 to 3.6. And the video Mcarbo provides id clear and detailed enough to get good results from the kit.
I didn't expect such a good result. This is my recommendation.
I installed this on my po7 while watching the installation video. For the price, amount of springs in package, USA made, fast shipping, an absolute value of a kit! I went to the range today and test fired 200 rounds without a single bit of trouble. Very happy with the purchase, I will be next getting the cz75 kit.
C'mon what other significant upgrade can you do for $35. I do recommend the polishing kit too which will bring the cost to around $50 but this is the best bang for your buck upgrade period. Video of how to install is fantastic and doing it yourself will teach you about everything you need to know to take care of your P07. Shipped quick, great service, no gripes. Highly recommend.
I recieved the kit relatively quick. Mcarbo Ftw! Now for the spring kit, it is pretty easy to install. Just be patient and do the polishing work. It makes a difference. I'm also glad this came with the retaining pin, good price and well worth it!
The gun was great before but the trigger pull is so much better with this kit installed. The installation will definitely test your patience but their installation video helps a lot. Will be running their kits on all of ky firearms from here on.
I have become a bit of a CZ fanboy over the past several years. Owning a Shadow 2, SP01, P01, P06, P10C, etc., I have also become spoiled with theeir triggers. I recently bought a P07 for daily carry and was a bit disappointed with the gritty feel and heavy pull of the trigger. After discovering MCarbo on one of the forums, I decided to give this kit a shot. I must say that for the minimal cost, this kit was more than worth it. Not being a gunsmith (though I am very mechanically inclined), I cannot understate how helpful the video was to disassembly, reassembly, and areas to focus on with the sanding and polishing. Fantastic results. Highly recommended.
This trigger kit made a huge difference on both double and single action. Also the video instructions were spot-on. Thank you for creating a great product and for taking the time to produce such great video tutorial.
Great kit. Great tutorial. My DA pull went from 10-1 to 6.5, and my SA pull went from 4.3 to 1.6!. And smooth!
I watched the installation video a number of times. I have done spring kits before and was familiar with how it's done in general. I only had trouble with reinstalling the decocker. I found that the cam that lifts the sear had shifted, probably because I pulled it too hard when removing. After pressing it back into place everything worked perfectly. I chose not to do the full polish, just lightly buffed down the sear and hammer and the trigger bar. At the range the reduced double action pull is greatly improved and the single stage is wonderful. Very happy with the results. For the price its a great value over other options.
