Works Great on a P09 Nocturne
review-star review-star review-star review-star review-star
I recently purchased a P09 Nocturne and new I was going to have to do something about that double action pull. I purchased this kit along with the polishing kit and got to work. This was my first time working on an omega system and instruction video made life easy. MCarbo's videos alone are worth the 5 stars!
The hardest part of the install is the firing pin retaining pin - it is a VERY tight fit in the slide (even after lubing the pin) and I would highly recommend a roll pin punch to install this. The rest of the installation went as expected and the results were excellent. It has a very light S/A pull with a rolling break in the 2lb. range. D/A pull dropped to a smooth 6.5 lbs.
I took my P09 to the range today to test the new setup and re-zero my dot and put 150 rds of Sellier & Bellot 1245gr through it with 100% reliability. I hear that S&B have harder primers than most so I checked the strikes on the cases and they looked solid.
Wonderful trigger now

Great kit. Great tutorial. My DA pull went from 10-1 to 6.5, and my SA pull went from 4.3 to 1.6!. And smooth!

I have a CZ P-07 and the MCarbo spring kit was just the ticket to make it much more fun to shoot. After installing the kit it worked exactly as advertised, very smooth with less than 1/2 the original trigger weight. Believe me it’s worth every penny of the price and more!
Spring Kit for CZ P-07
review-star review-star review-star review-star review-star
I recently purchased the spring kit for my CZ P-07, the installation and polishing video were spot on, easy to understand and easy to see where the parts went. The trigger pull weight went way down, on my manual Wheeler weight measure the double action pull was off the scale, probably 10-12 lbs., the single action pull was about 5 lbs. After your kit was installed the pull weights went down to 7 lbs. and 3 lbs. respectfully. I love it…

I had an issue at the range though with several failures to fire. Was using good ammo, checked all the standard issues, firing pin cavity, and cleaned spring and pin well, but 2-4 rounds from almost every magazine had light strikes. I even replaced factory springs in the slide with no effect. I saw someone else mentioned an extended firing pin from Cajun Gun Works. Their part #61050 Extended Firing Pin, its currently $25.00 They say with the lighter springs and hammer spring, you may need this for reliable ignition. This did the trick, after installing this I have had 0 issues. I love the end results......would have been a perfect "5" stars if Mcarbo sold an extended firing pin

Worked exactly as expected
review-star review-star review-star review-star review-star
I watched the installation video a number of times. I have done spring kits before and was familiar with how it's done in general. I only had trouble with reinstalling the decocker. I found that the cam that lifts the sear had shifted, probably because I pulled it too hard when removing. After pressing it back into place everything worked perfectly. I chose not to do the full polish, just lightly buffed down the sear and hammer and the trigger bar. At the range the reduced double action pull is greatly improved and the single stage is wonderful. Very happy with the results. For the price its a great value over other options.
CZ P-07 Trigger & Polishing kits.
review-star review-star review-star review-star review-star
3/14/24 CZ P-07 -- Did both spring kit and polishing kit. I followed the great how to video and did not encounter any issues. Pre-install trigger weight. D/A was way over the max 8 Lb. on my scale Est. to be >11 Lb. S/A 4.75 Lb. After install. D/A 7.5 Lb. Avg. S/A 3.25 Lb.# Avg. Polishing made the pull very smooth. I went to the range with 5 brands of ammo, Federal, Remington, PMC, Norma & Seller & Bellot (S&B). I did encounter 4 failures to detonate (light primer strikes) on the S&B 124 gr. Ammo out of 100 rounds. S&B were the only brands that had this issue although light strikes were visible on all other brands cases. I purchased and installed an extended firing pin with included reduced F/P spring from Cajun Gun Works. Back to the range with new extended Firing Pin installed. 150 rounds of S&B later, no more failures. After about. 500 total rounds of the various brands, the only issues were with S&B, and this appears to be fixed with the extended firing pin (noticeable deeper dent on the primers). It seems that S&B has harder primers then the other brands I fired. All in all, I am very pleased with the M-Carbo parts and polishing kit., and with the addition the of extended firing pin I now have a great shooting & smooth feeling CZ P-07.

After couple hundreds of shots my trigger just stop returning. I saw similar problems in reviews and suggestion to stay with original trigger return spring. But I just go back to original spring set. Because it is my primer gun and I can't risk on quality like this. Also red lot of reviews about the light strikes before installing M carbo kit to my gun. But decided to give a shot. Unfortunately had just big disappointment.

Is this compatible with the new nocturne models? A few people have this question.

Yes it does. I just installed this kit on my P09 C Noturne and everything worked out OK. The only thing different from the instructional video was that when reinstalling the decocker lever, I had to cock the hammer. In the instructional video the hammer was not cocked. Without this it was impossible for me to align the left side lever with the right side decocking lever

Question:
Does this spring kit work with the CZ75 Omega convertible model?
Brian Presto January 4, 2023 7:36 PM
Answers
Use the CZ75 Omega Kit for your pistol. Our kit does not effect the decocker spring, but does include tools to retain the sear cage during install. The P07/P09 is different.
Answered by
stevenk@mcarbo.com24442 / February 14, 2023 7:21 AM
I was under the impression that the newer CZ75 Omega Convertible model with the decocker that can be swapped for the safety lever was the same trigger system in the P07/P09. That is why I ask the question will this spring kit work in it? I have swapped the de cocker for the manual safety. This model also has the same flat faced trigger.

The CZ75 platform has its own product. This is for the P07/P09 platform.

Does this spring kit work with the CZ75 Omega convertible model?

Use the CZ75 Omega Kit for your pistol. Our kit does not effect the decocker spring, but does include tools to retain the sear cage during install. The P07/P09 is different.
