Been carrying my P09 for about 2 years got about 2500 rounds on it. Installed the kit today took about 1 hour and change. The change was chasing down the spring under the ejector. Other than that piece of cake. The results is most definitely worth price and effort. Don't have a trigger gauge but I can feel the difference. Much , much better. Got the kit Friday June 19th did it today along with battery change for my RMR. Done and done.
I just installed the spring kit a couple of days ago and man what a difference. There were right, cut the trigger weight in half for both DA and SA. Woot! The YouTube installation video was absolutely necessary in guiding me through the process, however if i may, I'd suggest slowing down a bit and getting some additional angles when describing parts and placement. Other than that little nugget, I'm very pleased. I've also ordered a kit for my SP-01 that intend to install this week. Thanks Brothers!
Installed the CZ P07/09 spring kit. It works fantastic in single action, very smooth, not quite as smooth in double action but still great.
Installed the kit on my ODG P-07. Not real difficult to do but make sure you have the vids on they help allot. No trigger gauge, but there is quite a difference in the felt weight. The DA still has a good weight so there is safety from the DA especially if you CCW it. The SA is very crisp and light, makes shooting an already accurate gun more so. One thing I did not care for was the weight of trigger return spring, prefer the weight of the stock spring so I put that back in. I did not think that polishing would make a difference but what light polishing I did made the felt rough drag on the trigger pull disappear. I didn't go as far or as detailed as the video just smoothed out some of the tooling marks. All in all worth it especially since as a Veteran it's nice to support veteran's. Now to order a kit for my P-01...
I bought the spring kit and followed the YouTube video instructions. Instructions were very well done and the results are very good. My double action trigger pull is easier and smoother. The single action was good but now is another level. This fix is worth doing
I stumbled onto this company/product while trying to decide whether to spend the money to put in a expensive Cajun gun works trigger in my P-07. I saw this product for twenty bucks and figured I would give it a try. Received my order in less than a week. The tutorial video was one of the best I’ve ever seen and I had no problem on install. Kit did exactly what was advertised. Brought down the double action trigger to about six to seven pounds and the single action to around two and half. Definitely worth the money and a great result. Shooting this handgun is far more enjoyable.
This kit transformed my p09c nocturne. The double action pull was stiff, gritty, and unpleasant. This kit cut the pull weight in half and after following the video instructions on polishing it's like butter. I will be taking it to the range on my next day off and I'm looking forward to it. Also the youtube install video was excellent. I wish every company did that.
bought the trigger spring upgrade kit to reduce the pull on 1st and following rds. Was hesitant to install, but Mcarbo had excellent video that has step by step instructions. Results were more than anticipated. Good product!
This kit makes my p09 way better. Its super smooth, crisp break, and enjoyable to shoot. Did the work myself with the mcarbo video and it was easy and thorough. Thank you mcarbo, from one vet to another!
I received this P-07 Spring Kit yesterday afternoon (5/9/20) and finished the install last evening. It's an easy kit to install, but I've worked on several CZ-75 pistols in the past, so I'm pretty familiar with them. My eyes aren't anything like they used to be, so the part that had me cursing a time or two (or three, four times) was the decocker spring. Sticking the long bent leg of the spring into the roll pin while threading the decocker shaft through the spring while pressing down on the ejector....and installing the right side decocker lever and making sure it will index onto the decocker shaft as soon as the shaft snakes it's way through the decocker spring. Thank God it's not as complicated as I'm making this seem.....if I wasn't blind it would have been quite easy.
Just the video alone was worth the money !!!! Word to anyone reading, when removing the ejector be darn careful that little tiny spring fly’s !!!! Heck next time I would probably put a beach towel over my head and the working area with a bright lite of coarse to contain the little bugger if it decides to launch 🚀🤣 All the polishing helped and it’s far better then it was, DA still a bit heavy, SA is improved ! Definitely worth the money ! I have plenty of CZ custom built pistols but wanted to tackle one on my own 👍 I sanded and polished a bit more (very carefully) and cleaned up the hammer strut as well (they are a bit ruff) ! Definitely recommended if your mechanical ! Great products, Great video, Great Customer Service And Support !!!! Thank you M*CARBO 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Straight forward installation, made an incredible difference.
The P07/P09 series are great guns with pretty crappy triggers... and this kit helped immensely. Certainly, for the cost, it's an excellent upgrade. Take your time and do the recommended polishing while you have everything pulled apart, it's very much worth the effort!
The trigger kit outperforms my stock 75b Omega! The lighter trigger did allow my follow up shots to be faster and on target along with no issues with lighter strikes! The pull and reset are smooth and easy. The online video made installation a much easier and enjoyable experience! Now I have to get the kit for my Omega!!! Thanks guys!
After watching the install video a couple of times (outstanding detail in the video!!), I felt pretty comfortable with the parts and process... the only issue was dropping the ejector spring out of the frame while re-installing the trigger spring plug - would definitely advise removing it and storing on the side... almost thought my project was sidelined due to dropping that little tiny thing. The polishing was worth the effort and the trigger pull (without a gauge) was noticeably smoother. Definitely worth the time and $$'s.
