Initially watching the p07 video inspired the confidence that I could do the installation myself. The video clarity gives great view.of all parts and how to align everything. Great explanation of every step. Actually installing was easier than I expected. The improved performance is awesome but for me the learning experience was even better.
This kit is well worth the money no doubt! The installation video from MCARBO is excellent. Took about an hour total to install and polish the internals. The only negative about the kit is the trigger return spring seems to be to weak. Results may very but my spring made the reset very slow and sometimes wouldn’t return until my finger was completely off the trigger. I just put the oem return spring back in and it’s great. I will mention I was shooting mostly suppressed so maybe the spring was a little to weak to over come the extra gunk being blown back into the action. All in all great product and I would definitely buy again. Thanks MCARBO!
Got this kit to make my P07 function even better than it came from the factory. I definitely reccomend polishing some parts while you're in there, it only helps to amplify the new (and better) feel. DA is noticeably lighter, but still decent for a DA pull. SA is an absolute dream! If you're not a novice at installing gun parts, watch the video they have. Its very well done and makes it look easy (its really not hard to do).
This is a great kit. It was easy to install while following the video on YouTube. The trigger pull in DA was reduced by about 1/2 and the SA was also decreased by about half. I also did the polishing that was gone over in the video. End result; great trigger and a better gun all around.
The video for this kit was a HUGE help! I installed the kit and polished the parts as shown and had great results. The trigger is definately lighter and doesn't have that gritty feel any more.
The install video is excellent. Don't worry about installation, just take it one step at a time, only got tripped up on one step, getting the decocker back in, the method in the video wasn't working for me, but I remembered scootch00 on youtube had a video on how to swap the decocker to safety and vice-versa. The method he had worked for me - so just a little tip there for an alternate approach. Now the weight on the trigger is low enough I am trending down and to the left, so I need to train and dry fire more to avoid smashing/slapping this nice trigger.
The P07 was my first 9mm purchase so when I found this spring kit I took the opportunity to hopefully not only improve the trigger but also learn more about this pistol. I used the video and was able to follow along with no issues. I also purchased the polishing kit and can recommend the polishing steps as well. The whole process including the instructional video is a great value as I essentially received an intro gunsmithing class with the purchase of a spring kit. Well worth it in my opinion.
This spring kit is a great value for the parts that you get. The hammer return spring alone makes the P07 double actiont trigger pull miles better than what the factory starts out with. All the other springs help smooth out the rest of the trigger pull, whether it's single or double action.
Paying $200+ for springs is asinine this kit has everything you need for a realistic price
I absolutely love how the trigger feels after completing the kit. As far as the difficulty of the takedown, I have never seen such a thoughtful and well put together video as the one provided by mcarbo. This is a winner folks!
Quick shipping (3 days to me), installed same day and went to the range the following day. Gun ran like a dream! I’m by no way a gunsmith but installation was easy if you follow the video. I will post a word of advise, watch the ejector spring. I was a little careless and dropped mine and added about 45 minutes to my install. Please let me know when you get more swag, I need an MCarbo hat!!
Works great, makes the trigger smooth and lightweight pull, very easily to install.
I now have a lighter double action and single action trigger pull. A better trigger means more accuracy and faster shots. I highly recommend this product.
I ordered this kit because I wanted to lighten the double action pull and to take some of the grit out as well. The kit did just that; the DA pull is much lighter, but not too light where I would be concerned about carrying it... it is perfect. The installation videos MCARBO put out are also top notch, easy to follow and great quality. I highly recommend this kit!
This was my first of now a few MCARBO trigger kits. I am really happy with the results and although I've never used/shot a Cajun trigger, I believe my results are on par, if not better than, the reviews I watched on Cajun triggers. When you consider cost, I would and have gone with MCARBO every time! I haven't had any issues with their products so I can't really speak to their customer service but they seem like great people, make it known they are very appreciative of my business and I'm sure if I did have issues, they would happily help! Their shipping is awesome and I'm a few hrs away so 2 days and I have my project supplies! Highly recommend!
This spring kit made a very noticeable improvement in the double action pull. It also helped an already good SA. Equally important was the detailed installation video.
