As usual fast shipping with continued updating. The greatest!!!
This was an easy install thanks to the great video on mcarbo. The difference for my LC9 is night and day. I had stopped carrying it because the trigger pull was so ludicrous. I appreciate the video on the site, lighting was great and it covered some pitfalls instead of just blowing through the parts install. Extremely helpful! Absolutely no complaints.
These guys rock. The service was awesome. The spring works and is rigid enough for me to trust. Overall it worked out the way I hoped
The springs arrived within 2-3 days of ordering them. I will admit to having difficulty with the install despite the very detailed and excellent video. That is mainly due to my own inexperience but I did finally get it done. The springs reduce the trigger pull by the 40% advertised. I have not yet been to the range but intend to do so as soon as I can get away. Just pulling the trigger though, these springs are a big improvement.
Watched it, paused it, repeat. Even with this awesome video, I managed to make 2 mistakes. Not a big deal. Took gun apart again. Watched video, paused video. Finished. Great trigger pull. Excited to get to the range to see if it helps my accuracy!
Seemed straightforward UNTIL replacing hammer fulcrum pin through spring loaded detent. Simple instructions (to hold against table while actuating detent spring 'slightly' with micro tool) FAILED due to excessive spring pressure and too large diameter of the micro spring tool which I bought from MCarbo. Tried dental type pick which was too small and 1/16 punch: none of which could push the tiny tiny follower spring high enough. Will likely have to make a tool.
... outstanding
So with my manual wheeler trigger pull gauge before the install i got a reading of 8 lb pull , pretty much maxing out the gauge. After install it dropped to a hair over 6 . The heavy load up at the end is now gone and smooth pull the entire way . Wife was not very accurate with this gun and she didn't shoot it much . So now we’re going to run some ammo through it and i hope the pull decreases a bit more as it gets shot more . Also i used the youtube video to watch as i did the install , only warning i would add is watch the spring in your ejector . Mine went flying when it fell out .
I purchased and LC380 a couple years ago and unfortunately it got stolen from my truck, but I recently got it back from the police and was so glad to have it returned. But I quickly remembered the horrible trigger this gun has. As soon as I saw Mcarbo made a kit for this gun I immediately had to order it. Just finished installing it today and with 4 mags fed through it my shots are way smoother and this trigger is 100% better. Couldn’t be happier with this product and the installation video made the whole process a breeze.
Installed it my Ruger LC380 and dropped the trigger pull by 1 1/2 lbs..It's now around 6 lbs which is just fine.Would of liked to see it in the 5lb range but better than nothing.
My first review was incorrect.Quality and shipping was wonderful.I reported that trigger pull after installation was little over 6 lbs. After zeroing thae take up ,the trigger pull was 4 Lbs 10 oz. Very very pleased!!The only trouble with installation was inserting the Hammer Pivot Pin.The Detent Plunger didn't want to go up so the Pin could go through.Got it done though. Thanks M.CABO
I attended Gunsmith school in Colorado. I was pleased to find MCARBO. I made my first purchase, and was very pleased with quality of springs. The LC9 kit was easy to install. It work very nice along with some polishing to compliment the kit. I rate the kit 5 out 5 so far.
I was thinking of selling my ruger, but after i installed the new springs ; i love the new pull!! Thanks M-CARBO Tim K Manitowoc wi.
Finally fixed my lc9 trigger pull. Easy to follow video. With the punch set, hammer, and other tools used in video it made fixing my lc9 easy. I can now enjoy my lc9. Thank you, M-CARBO.
