I bought it during the pre order, I’d buy it now with the price increase. It’s a good, solid mount solution for your s2k. Honestly, you won’t be disappointed in buying the mount.
I was ready to buy the optic mount shortly after it was announced it was in development. I was like a kid again, waiting like I had mailed in something from a comic book magazine. Some will remember that. I would mount my optic right on the rail and spend several rounds getting it zeroed, just to do it again on the next visit. Now, I flip and fire, easy as that.
I have a Gen2 Sub2K and after buying it and before taking it to the range I bought every aftermarket part for it from MCarbo. WOW what a difference it makes, the only thing it lacked was a mount for a red dot. I purchased the new MCarbo optic mount and it arrived today. Nice quality build as is everything From MCarbo ! Can't wait to get it to the range. Tks Chris & Crew for all you do !!
This was very much worth the wait! Supper easy to install. I could not be more pleased! I’m just not understanding the negative reviews from people who have not even purchased the optic mount! I always assumed that the rating system is for people who have used the product to help influence the person who is considering purchasing the product!
I first heard about MCARBO from a PCC (Pistol Carbine Class). At that point I’ve outfitted my sub2000 with MCARBO parts as I carry it daily and my life depends on it. The newly released optic mount is a FORCE MULTIPLIER for putting rounds on target: quickly and accurately. I mounted a Holosun optic Green Dot Sight and I couldn’t be happier. Deploying the optic is fast, easy, and dependable. In a real world situation, I’d be able to deploy my sub2000, put a few rounds down range with iron sights, then flip my green dot sight down as needed. I’ve already showed this to several other warriors. They have already placed their orders.
I received my optic mount the other day and am super impressed with the quality of workmanship. The mount is sturdy, well built and looks like it will last a lifetime. Thank you MCARBO!! P.S. Hope you guys sell a sh*t load of these and at least make back what you folks must have spent on research, development and testing. Don't know how you can sell it for this price and make a profit.
Could not have ever dreamed how nice and soild this mount would have been, no doubt this this will last a lifetime. Highly recommend , the fact I can fold my sub2k again is great and no trouble fitting in my backpack.

2 things: - Took less than 10 minutes to install. - I didn't appreciate how much would love this option until it was installed. The quality of the mount is top notch. The attention to detail in the design and functionality is too notch. Did I mention the quality on this piece? Just amazing!! Thanks again for great installation videos and another great accessory that works as advertised.
