Easy install. Mount does everything it is meant to. Price too high.
This product is well-made, well-designed, and works perfectly! Well thought out Craftsmanship And built to be rocksolid. Love it!
Given the fact that the Sub 2k folds and this saves you the hassle of having to take an optic on and off is awesome. Paired a Sig Sauer Romeo 5 with the Sub 2k+ the MCARBO optic mount because my eye sight isn't as great as it used to be and it got me in the red within a few groups vs. using iron.
I researched every optic mount that I could find. The M-Carbo is clearly the best. Installation (even for a dufus like me) was easy and quick. I really like the strength of it and the stability on the gun. The only downside for me is that I had to change bags to get it in with the new mount. Before the mount I had the gun in a slim and narrow pack (even I was impressed how compact it was). With the new mount I had to move up to a bigger bag. Not the worst thing in the world but I was hoping it would still work as it did before space wise.
Easy install. Makes stowing away possible without taking site off. I mounted the sig romeo red dot. After 350 rounds, dot is still on the money! It's as if I cant miss if I try!
I had watched all of the videos and read all of the reviews. I even had this page bookmarked for months before I decided to actually buy it. Well, I did and I have to say I was not disappointed. Install was dead nuts simple and flip to the side function of the mount was smooth. This is a nice addition to a fun carbine. I didn't have any issues with installation but there were support e-mails and plenty of opportunities to contact help if I needed it. They weren't going to leave me hanging. Buy with confidence and go have some fun.
I have not had a chance to shoot with the optics mount yet but a very well made solid product. Really looking forward to using it.

Took a while to get as it was back ordered but we’ll worth it. Solid part, Installed in 5 minutes. Tested next day over 100 rounds, fold and unfold many times and it Held zero.
Beautifully designed and solid construction. I have three and no issues with deployment or maintaining zero round after round. Although I love the Sub 2k, I had given up on mounting an optic to the polymer rail until Mcarbo released their optic mount. Love all their products but this has been their Mona Lisa. I’ve included a photo of the mount on m over but fun Punisher themed carbine.
Easy install and functions as advertised. Also it is a really cool looking adds and contributes to the overall folding functionality of the firearm. The only caveat to this review as I have not had it to the range yet to test how will the scope holds zero after flipping back and forth. However, bore sight testing at home held up well to such activity. Home run here!
If you think you need the left or right handed version, you're probably right. You can use either one for either hand and it will work exactly like you want. I haven't had issues with fit or function so far. Mine has a micro red dot on it and it fits so smooth, I would almost swear it came like that from the factory.
Nice accesory. Romeo 5 fit perfect. After fine tuning, I was holding 3.0" groups at 50 yds. from a bench with a cheapo wal mart plastic rest. Only one issue I have is, that the screws should be about 3/32" longer. They only go into the nuts about half way. Other than that, great product.

This optic mount is, imo, the best choice for a kel tec. It is a solid solution to being able to mount an optic while maintaining the foldability of the gun. One of benefits of this mount over the competition, is that it's a little more versatile. It gives you the option to mount the optic lower (closer to the gun) and that is not an option with the competition. Plus, it's a great American product. Thanks MCARBO, keep up the good work.
