If looking to still fold your sub 2000 with a nice optic on it, Then the Mcarbo optic mount is a must! Speedy shipping and I had a question about my order their response was super quick!
I purchased the MCarbo Sub 2000 a few weeks ago. I love the gun and all its additions. I jumped on the optic mount as soon as it became available. Its a sturdy product made right here in the USA. I called a few times to ask questions about the optic mount and gun. I am a new shooter so there is alot I do not know about the laws in NJ and compliance. The guys were always courteous and patient with me. I will be purchasing more products through MCarbo when needed.
Just excellent all around in design and function. Easy to install and after a few hundred rounds my red dot is still holding zero. Great job guys!
This optic mount is very simple and highly functional vs the other options on the market... The installation video was spot on and the installation process was simple and straight forward.
I purchased the mcarbo optic mount for my kel tec sub 2000.The product quality is excellent. Installation was very easy especially after watching the video. Shims were not needed. The red dot I installed lined up perfectly with the front sight. The best feature is the red dot and mount folding to the side so the sub 2000 can be folded for storage or a backpack. Bob C.
Such an easy install. Mine did not require any shims and took less than 10 min to do. After install I mounted a Romeo-5 (perfect combo) it co-witness with iron sights so sight-in was very quick. Was very happy that it still slips right into my backpack . Flipped it open and closed after every 5 shots and 100 rounds later no change in zero. Note if you are a lefty and have the shell deflector it will hit that when closing but still closes with no problem. Hard to spend that much on a mount but well worth it. This 65 yr old can now hit the bullseye again. ho-rah

Arrived in the speed of light! And with everything going on, that is amazing. Packaging immediately said “ Professional” Upon opening the packaging, everything was separated and secured. Immediately reviewed the instructions and video on installation. Went on in 10 minuted, being very careful not to cross thread these small nuts. With that said, “ Rock Solid”! Mounted my optic and went to my backpack. No issues with the extra real estate, and now the range test. Besides that, the company is what the profess so far. Excellent easy walk through for purchase and the “ Military / Leo “ discount was immediately applied! The side mount for the Kel-Tec Sub 2000 is a must if optics are being used on the weapon. The system is easy to use and easy to mount. Storage of the Sub 2000 is unencumbered by the optics. Excellent addition to my Sub 2000
Well built. Easy installation.
Nice piece of hardware, and well made! Installation was easy after watching the video. I bought a Sig Romeo 5, from Amazon. They had the best price available at the time. The optic arrived within a day or so of the mount. The M*Carbo installation could be imroved if the comment about mounting the optic "directly" to the mount was re-worded to say, to use the shorter "pan cake" mount which, was extra in the box with the optic, but not installed versus a higher taller mount. SO, in my case disassembly of the Sig Optic mount, and re-install of the shorter mount. After that all well. My rifle is a Gen 2, and had the plastic rear sight in place. I looked around on the M*Carbo web site and found a link for replacement of the rear sights, and used info therein to dis-assemble the "hinge" point (the two screws from the left and right side) of the gun, and then remove the stock plastic rear sight, which was in the way when attempting use of the new optic. I may replace the rear stock plastic sight, with one of the improved M*Carbo rear sights as a back up, just in case something goes side ways with the Optics, requiring "going old school".
