The KEL-TEC SUB-2000 Optic Mount is one of the best upgrades you can make for this unique firearm. The dynamic construction of this mount, makes the transition from storage to defense seamless. It's amazing how the mount will maintain a red dot "zero", after repeated storage usage. If you want an efficiency upgrade for your Sub-2000, this will be a purchase you will not regret.
MCarbo has the best K2K optic mount in the business. Ok there are only 2 mounts I know of but the MCarbo mount becomes a piece of the frame. Never coming off my gun, and I'm ordering another for my 40cal.
Have fitted all my Sub 2Ks with their optic mount. Bolts securely to body of carbine and the aluminum rail keeps the red dot secured and holds zero. Just added one to my Wolverine themed Sub 2K

As a first-time buyer and tech help user for 9 add-ons/upgrades purchased from M*CARBO for a Kel Tec sub2000, I could not be happier!!! Jacob talked me through options and best fit. Package arrived the next day. I installed most myself with the help of M*CARBO videos. Charging handle spring fitting was challenging. Brought the issue to their location, Steven K. dispatched with it in no time. He reassembled and all is good to go. Excellent knowledge, service and product(s) quality!

This was one of the first accessories I knew I had to have. I ordered this rapid deployment optic mount just days after purchasing my Sub 2000. I mounted it, along with a few other accessories I purchased from MCARBO. Absolutely rock solid when flipped up into the “ready” position.
When I ordered this optic mount I was a little skeptical of the rigidity of the swing arm. After installation and use, it is indeed as rock solid as described. Holds true zero while being able to flip out to the side for folding or use of iron sights

This is a great accessory and is built very well. Install was a breeze. The only thing that I would prefer is that the quick release spring and lever popped the sight up for a fast deployment rather than breakdown. I added a Romeo 7s, but it does affect the profile significantly. Still a totally portable backpack gun for camping/hiking.
A red dot on mounted on this rifle makes it amazing- MCARBO makes it possible. A must have if you own a sub 2000. I bought this rifle only after I researched MCARBO and the performance parts that are available. It can be as basic, or as tricked out as you want to spend. The guys at MCARBO got everything right on this carbine.
Solid construction and once set my zero has not faltered. Have open and closed mount many times with no change in zero. MCarbo has lived up to its reputation for quality upgrades.
I had been looking at the competitor product (the swivel front rail), but didn't want to modify the firearm that much and didn't have lots of stuff to mount. This was by far a superior solution for that case. It is custom fitted, mount is solid with repeatable zero, fast opening and easy to use without more drastic modification. highly recommend.

I've been waiting for this optic mount. It's easy to install and the flip-out feature works great. I then mounted a Bushnell TRS-25 red dot and it works perfect. It was truly worth the $150 I paid. Plus I can co-witness it easily. I rate this 5-stars
