Ordered spring kit for the 22lr version. There are some differences between the 22 and 380 model. With the 22 you have to deal with the safety mechanism which is not covered in the video. Safety piece and spring fell out along with a tiny piece that I have no idea where it came from and wasn't in the video nor on YouTube or the internet. I spent a couple of hours just studying where these pieces could go and what fits where after awhile I finally got it and was relieved. The instructional video is a good guide on how to replace on the 22lr model but just bear in mind it won't cover the safety and a little piece in metal I still don't know what it's purpose is. Just thought I would maybe save someone some grief and share my experience.

Fast delivery, finally put it in today after lunch. Took about 30 minutes of careful assembly following along with the excellent installation video. I didn’t notice a drastic change, but I’d say it shaved off about a third of trigger pull, cleaner operation. However the pistol gets put in reserve until I can shoot it. Excellent product and a happy customer.

The kit worked perfectly. I’m very pleased both with the product and the speed at which the order was fulfilled.

I will buy kits for my other guns as well.

Very nice kit with supporting video. Trigger weight went from mid five pounds to mid three, right about where I like it. Also, the slide racks more smoothly. I don't know how the changes I made would relate to that, but it's noticeable.

I installed this last night and would have been done in 10 min if I hadn't taken out the one pin that the video tells you not to. The thing is it doesn't give you any idea how to install it if you do and the schematic in the gun manual shows it backwards so I tried to watch the video and catch the frame at the exact time they show the part and spring orientation. I am very happy with the results of the upgrade.

Light primer strikes

Purchased this kit for my LCP in 22lr. Quality parts but severe light primer strikes. Before installing I went through 600 rounds with not a single light primer strike with CCI mini mags & after installing had a light primer strike about every 2 rounds. Swapped back to the factory springs.

Lighter Trigger Pull

The pull is definitely lighter. Easier to control the firearm.

Lighter trigger, and lighter primer strikes, too many failures to fire

I got the trigger spring kit, recoil spring, and stainless recoil rod. Had a gunsmith install them with a competitor's short-stroke trigger. There is no question that the trigger is both smoother and lighter. Accuracy is much improved.

However, using Aguila 22 super extra, CPRN ammo, which previously functioned flawlessly in this little pistol, I now have AT LEAST 1 failure to fire per 14-round extended mag. You can see by the primer marks on the misfires that it is a light strike. When I reload the misfires for another trip through, they fire just fine. If I can't find ammo that will fire every time with the inconsistent firing pin strikes I'm going to have to reinstall the old springs. I'm not happy.

Little to no difference

I love the products I purchased for my PC9 from MCARBO but the LCPll spring kit missed the mark for me. I’ll admit I didn’t use a trigger pull gauge but I will say I can’t tell the difference between my pistol and a friends LCPll. Neither he nor I noticed a perceivable difference between the factory springs and the MCARBO springs.

long install but good product

I put this in the lcp2 22lr, and the installation video on the web site is for a different gun, so I had to search out how to reassemble in another video as there are a few extra parts on the 22lr version. Overall very happy, trigger pull is very comfortable, and much more pleasant to shoot.

Love it

It's amazing how smooth and crisp feels the trigger on my LCP2 .380 now for just $29.95 and 1 fun hour of work at home. I want to thank Chris and MCarbo for having such great products at a gift price. With MCarbo I also solved the feeding problems of my LCP2 by polishing the ramp, installed the magazine release extra power spring and the stainless steel guide rod. I'm just waiting for the takedown pin because now they don't have it in inventory. With less than $65 I have a totally different LCP2 .380. Do not hesitate to buy any of the products offered by MCarbo for the LCP2.

Trigger spring kit was installed by MCarbo on the Micro 9, an M&P Bodyguard 380, a Kel-Tec P3AT, and a Ruger LC9s. We discussed beforehand what would be done. I shipped the guns to them. It took about 2 weeks to complete the work and return the guns. Not only did they install the trigger spring kits but they also test fire the guns and correct a couple of issues on two of the guns. They were very responlsive to my emails and even called me a couple of times to let me know what was going on. The modifications are terrific and their work is awesome. I will have them do work for me again and highly recommend them for any gunsmith work anyone may need. I am fortunate to have found them. Thanks for all your excellent work.

Makes the gun usable

I know, there's a philosophy that says your carry pistol should have stupidly long and heavy trigger pull. That's the LCP II and it's bad enough I consider it an unusable firearm. It's sat in the safe for years, hadn't thought twice about it until I was making an order here and threw this in on a lark.

I'm not going to say this turned the little LCP II into a race gun, but it changed the shooting experience enough for me to consider it a usable pistol instead of an expensive way to piss off someone without actually hitting them. The accuracy changed from "did we even hit the backstop" to "minute of pie plate". The shots all land in the target circle at least and they do it without having to take 30 seconds per shot prepping for how you're going to let the gun go off without interfering with it. Still not my favorite pistol, still sucks a little to shoot (instead of a lot), but actually usable now.

This is a must for the LCP.
