Review
great parts and just follower there video
As a Vietnam USMC Veteran, I learned at an early age the importance of excellent trigger control. As I have gotten older and developed a slight hand tremor, I realized the importance of lighter trigger pull on my firearms. The harder the trigger pull, the more active the tremor would become while at the range. I recently got a Marlin Model 60, whose trigger pull was heavy and would result in shots low and right of the bulls eye at 50 yards. Very glad I found this M*Carbo Trigger spring set. Its great being in the bulls eye consistently like my other rifles.. Very fast service, quality parts and by simply following the video an easy install. Yep, the tremor slowed me down on the installing the hammer spring, but after I got it assembled, everything went very smooth. Semper Fi ..
Thank God for the video. Made installing the springs easy. Dropped the trigger pressure from about 8.5 to 5.5 lbs. With the new springs I shot a 9/16 inch group at 100 yds. at a match. I'm a happy 81 year old shooter.
Got my old Marlin 60 running better than new ! Great product!
A friend and me a few timesinstalled the kit in about an hour. If you go step by step in video you'll have no problem installing. As for after it's installed its like a different gun. Smooth and light is the trigger now. If you have Marlin 60 you need this spring kit. I love it.
Initial pull a bit over 5-1/2. After installing the springs just under 3-1/2. I like it a lot. This takes a little while to install. Watch the video and take your time.
It works as advertised, gets the trigger to 4 pounds, just wish they made a kit to get to 2 1/2 or 3 pounds
Great service and website
Excellent product, followed mcarbo's you tube video for installation instructions and was rewarded with a 3.25 lb trigger pull. The original trigger pull was over 6 lbs. Fast shipping time and excellent customer service.
The spring kit is very good quality and the video was super helpful.
I did a deep clean and rebuild of my 20 year old Marlin model 60. These springs gave it new life along with a new buffer tube that I found elsewhere. The new high velocity spring works great. I tested it out no jams even dirty. If I get it dirty enough I’d expect jams, bacause it’s a .22LR and only jams when dirty. The bolt is quicker and smoother after a good polish and these springs. My old Mossy is better than new now. I only wish MCarbo still had the full kit with the improved trigger. I found one somewhere else but it’s on back order. For now the stock trigger with the new spring is pulling at about 4lb a major upgrade from 6lb when clean and 7lb when dirty. 5 stars for the parts and the instruction videos.
Installed and works great.
Ordered this kit along with an ejector spring and a firing pin. Parts where delivered in just a few days. Used the installation video to guide me threw the tune up. Ran 350 rounds thru this rifle with NO malfunctions. My experience was excellent
Very nice quality kit with well made YouTube instructions. Fast shipping!
25 yards, 10 rounds prone unsupported, with Mcarbo trigger springs. Absolutely worth it!
I have found the hammer spring is a bit 2 stiff for my rifle to reset the trigger it loads the rounds.... Putting stock spring back in fixed problem. Note if you manually loaded rounds it worked fine ... I am not sure by how much it reduced trigger pull as I don't have a guage. But I can say it at least cut it in half or a bit more. Its just 2 bad no one is doing more for the marlin. My ruger has a volquartsen trigger hammer sheer target disconnect and spring set ... I am guessing a 2 lb pound pull... this springset for the Marlin probably reduces it to 3.5 pounds again only a guess but is SOOOOO much nicer. I highly recomend ....
