After 20 yrs of rifle setting in closet i decided to get it out and bring it up to new standards, never fired over 100rds in it when i first got it from box store. i brought a couple of boxes of ammo, bulk federal ammo target grade lr 1200fps, box of win lr varmit&small game lr 1435 fps. I shot the federals first and they did good with a jam here and there, then the win super x with jambs every other bullet. Brought it home and tore it down the find the buffer had deteriorated 70%. I bought the hyper spring and the new spring kit, and also settable trigger. Went to the range the gun felt tighter then when new, i fired multiple brands and manf with no jamming or any other problems. I shot the federal auto match, win superx,mini-max,cci stinger, cci pistol match, american eagle, cci ar tactical,30gr hornady v-max.Shooting with cheap 3x9-40 .22 scope 60 marlin with new Mcarbo kits.No jams or any mis functions, most accurate rounds where bought from academy for 2.49 a box, all went in 1 hole at 25yds.

I found the higher the velocity the less accuracy. I love the kits from Mcarbo, very professional great email and delivery service and left me with a cheap .22 rifle that shots with best of them, that i am proud of.

The kit was easy to install with the help of a YouTube video.

I was expecting a two pound reduction of the trigger pull but only received a one pound reduction. It went from 5 Lbs. for 4 Lbs.

I have been struggling with the Marlin60 trigger since 1985. I had given up on it till now when your excellent kit was offered. Got my hands on it and installed it today with the help of your very well presented video. All in all it has been a great experience . I am now excitedly waiting to check the groups at the range.

Thank you for creating this excellent kit. Wish I had ordered the match trigger also. Keep up the good work brothers.

Sorry, but I did not experience an improvement in my trigger pull. In fact it got worse. In fairness, I do not have a device to measure the pull, so that is a subjective evaluation. I purchased the teflon grease and new e-clips; the installation was sanitary and went well,; instructions are excellent, but the results are waaay less than expected. A real disappointment. I have owned this rifle since it was new and have used it for more than 30 years, just to put my experience with the rifle's trigger pull in perspective.

Worked as advertised--before install I had a consistent 5.5lb trigger pull and after install, a consistent 4.0lb pull. My M60 rifle is only about 3 years old. Fired six different brands/loads of ammo to assure the new springs would not cause any misfires/light strikes/FTF/FTE--no malfunctions. Reviewed the install video several times before doing the install and then did it step by step with the video--no problems--installed it in about an hour because I rehearsed everything before I did it. One thing that I VERY STRONGLY recommend if you are going to make this modification, purchase the MCARBO Marlin 60 C-clips along with the Spring Kit. The OEM C-clips are wimpy and when reinstalled, literally fell out of the gun when test firing after Spring Kit install. The MCARBO Marlin 60 C-clips are noticeably thicker/stronger and very positively snap in and hold as they should, plus you save on shipping when ordered together.

My suggestion to MCARBO--up the price by a dollar or so and include the C-clips in the Spring Kit. IMHO, they are critical to the job.

I just had three of the MARLIN 60 TRIGGER SPRING KITs put in my marlin 60's. Wow.... what a difference...Smooth! They went from about 6.5 to 7 lbs to around 3. 75 lbs. I highly recommend the 60 trigger install service if you are not want able or don't have the time to put the kit in yourself. The new videos for installing them yourself are outstanding as well. Great service and communication. A++++!

I bought a new Marlin 60 at Bass Pro for a good sale price. I added a 4X Bushnell 22 rimfire scope. After taking it out of the box and removing the trigger lock it was shipped with I took it to the shooting range. After attempts to shoot it, and checking twice to make sure the safety was off, I realized that the trigger pull was the worst I've ever put my finger on. It would shoot, but it was over 14 lbs. from the factory. After smoothing out all rough burs from the "stamped parts and trigger pieces" , (nothing done to the sear/hammer engagement) it was a lot smoother, but still around 10 lbs. After sighting it in I ordered the MCARBO spring kit and after installation found the kit did everything as was advertised. The trigger pull is crisp, but not so light the gun fires before your ready, making it perfect for use in the field and for young shooters and people new to firearms. I would recommend this improvement over the factory springs to any Marlin 60 owner experiencing excessive trigger pull issues. I also added a Diproducts adjustable trigger guard with 3/8" trigger. This allows for the removal of the pre-travel and over travel. Makes the Marlin very close to the trigger pull on my Ruger 10/22 with a Volquartsen hammer kit. I installed the MCARBO kit in about 30 minutes while watching Start Trek or something, but if you have a Marlin 22 and "can't stand the trigger pull" buy one of these kits! They can install it for you at a very reasonable cost/value should you feel uncomfortable with such intricate work. Shot group with match grade ammo shrank from over 2" for ten shots at 50' to small enough to cover with a dime from sandbags due to the improved trigger control. Happy Shooting!!!

The parts functioned as expected and as per the reviews I have seen. At least a 30% reduction in the trigger press providing a more accurate shot placement with less chance of jerking the trigger. at the end of such a hard stock trigger. Much easier for the youth to operate as well.

Beside that the most important aspect is the superior customer service provided by M-Carbo, from the time I clicked complete order to delivery. Updates on order process, when it shipped and follow up with delivery. They also provided video links for part installation. Outstanding company with outstanding service. I have already recommended this company to a friend and will to others. M-Carbo sets the standard of how all American companies should operate. Great to finally be a customer of one, Lead from the Front. Keep up the great work and Thanks for your Service!! OohRah!

Installed Spring Kit In A Glenfield 60. Do Not Own A Pull Gauge, But The Trigger Is Definitely More Crisp With A Very Noticeable Lightened Pull. Haven't Fired Live Rounds Just Snap Caps At This Point. Will Report Back Once I Run Some Live Rounds Through It & A Second Kit Is Installed In A Marlin 60SS.

Never imagined that a marlin 60 could shoot so well. This trigger spring kit is everything you said it would be, wish I had found out about it sooner. The video made installation a breeze. Thank you so much, and thank you for your service!
