Review
great trigger setup with fast shipment. short travel with crisp break. best part is is U.S.A. made !! highly recommend MCarbo!
I installed the model 60 trigger and put the adjustment screw at 2+. I installed the spring kit and couldn't get the trigger to release. After uninstalling the spring kit and re-installing it to make sure I had it right, the trigger still wouldn't fire, so, just on a hunch, I adjusted the screw on the trigger to "flush" and it worked fine. If you have trouble with your trigger releasing, that may be the problem. I have since adjusted the screw to one thread showing and it's now perfect. It really is a great addition to my rifle and I'm glad I ordered it. The young man with MCarbo has been very patient and helpful. Good product and people.
I installed my kit and went from 4lp 10oz to 4lp 0 oz which was 13.5% decrease. I was hoping to get it down to 3lp 08oz. about 25% Parts are of good quality and shipping was fast
This spring kit is a must have if you own a Marlin 60. I started with 6.25 pound trigger now i have a crisp 3.5 pound trigger. This is a night and day difference, a no-brainer.
As on your video same trigger pull results. Simple enough to do with your help. Also did 2 Savage 64's ,awesome reset. Thanks for making stuff that works.
Ordered and received this kit promptly.I installed this kit and it lowered trigger pull from 5.25 lb to 4 lb which is a good improvement. There are instructional videos on YouTube to help with installation.Well worth money and time.
Got kit today, watched your video numerous times, so had it in, without watching video in about 30 mins!!! Great kit, my second spring kit from you, excellent video!! Only part that was difficult was trigger return spring, "fat fingers" most of the problem there!! know there was over 2 lb. reduction, so satisfied with that, thanks MCarbo Sincerely, Rex Doss
This kit helped the trigger a great deal for the Marlin. It was easy to install.
No problem installing the spring kits in two different Marlin 60's and quality seems good; not a significant change in trigger effort though which was the reason I bought the kits in the first place. I'll try a low friction lube on the moving parts and see if I can get a reduction in pull weight. Unfortunately, Marlin's design on this particular model's trigger isn't conducive to a lighter trigger.
Spring kit lowered my marlin 60 trigger pull from factory 6 lb 5 oz down to 3 lb 6 oz. i also spent 10 minutes polishing the hammer and sear with some mothers mag polish. The m carbo youtube instruct vid is prob the easiest to follow, clearest to understand I’ve seen. Little pricey but free ship made that OK. Very satisfied with how the trigget pulls now.
The M Carbo spring kit did lighten the trigger pull by half as advertised. The installation went well. I followed the instruction video step by step. The instruction video was well done in a way that most everyone can follow. The shipping was quick. In my opinion this is a good product.
Followed the video instructions to install the spring kit and achieved a true 50% reduction in trigger pull. The rigger now feels light and smooth.
Perfect replacement. Me and my 16 year old son installed the springs. Shot a few hundred rounds this past weekend. Flawless.
My experience with Mcarbo is a very good one because they go out of their way to make sure you get exactly what you need and a great price to boot. I appreciate them throwing in an extra spring.. it was a life saver for sure.
This kit was a complete solution to getting a cleaner, lighter trigger pull out of my Marlin 60. The results were like night and day! I highly recommend this upgrade to a great rifle.
Took 15 min to install, works as advertised. the only tricky spring to install they included 2 at no extra cost, incase of screw up i guess. what more can you ask for, it works.
