This spring kit is fairly easy to install. The pull now is much better than the factory pull. Glad I bought one
My model 70 was having function issues, cleaning didn't help, I replaced all the springs from this kit plus the recoil spring. I bought a pack of the little e-clips as well. You never know if you will lose one. Anyway the Old 1967 made marlin functions good as new again... I highly recommend watching the install video, at least a few times
This kit rejuvinated my 795 so it is again a reliable nail driver. The installation video was very helpful in replacing the different parts and the end result was a lighter trigger and more reliable performance. I saved a lot of money doing it myself and it felt good to have my Marlin back. I highly recommend this kit for 795 users.

Me and my father both bought 795's. I put in mcarbo spring set along with a new aluminum trigger guard and upgraded iron sights. Spring set made everything come together.lighter pull really wasn't difficult to install. Mcarbo has an instalation video online which took out the guess work ..I'm getting nice groups with the rifle and trigger is much better than my fathers
Definite improvement along with a new DIP trigger and guard. Was unable to use the sear spring with the shorter leg. If your 70 is an older model without the last-shot-open feature like mine, I would recommend the 60 kit with the longer leg spring.
The kit changed a stiff, grinding trigger to a smooth, crisp pull. Great after service all the way to my mail box and support with installation. Installed the new spring kit. Trigger pull went from6 lbs. to 3.3 lbs. Shoots much better. Love the new setup, easy install. Well worth it. Thangs mcarbo
My spring kit arrived very fast and the communication from MCARBO was second-to-none. I have not installed the springs yet, but I am looking forward to lightening up the trigger pull on the dedicated Appleseed rifle.
Fact is this is the only trigger spring kit that I am aware of that even exists for a Marlin 795 so that in and of itself merits 4-stars. The kit with the video instructions was pretty simple to install and did lower the trigger pull but I'd not say drastically. I guess the only gripe would be the price is a bit high for a little bag of springs which is why 4 stars.
This kit is easily installed when following the video instructions. Just be sure to recognize there are differences between the Marlin 60 and Marlin 795/ 70 actions and follow the correct video. Parts went in and worked as advertised. I highly recommend the spring kit as well as the matching trigger.
the kits in a 60 a 75 a 795....makes great guns wonderful. Enhances the inherent accuracy of the Marlins. Shooting 10/22 a LOT less now. SIX STARS Thanks!
The set of springs do reduce trigger pull to a reasonable amount. I don't have a gauge but after installation the pull feels about like a stock 10/22 trigger. It is a shame that a 795 starts out with such a heavy pull. The install was very simple.
Marlin spring kit really improved my shot. I saw a huge difference immediately. Hand salute to such a Great company.
arrived in a very timely fashion, considering I'm in Canada, product was as expected with access to installation instructions on site which is a very nice touch. But above all else, the customer service with this company is far more than expected and mostly any other site I've dealt with. I will certainly be taking my business here again.
