This install was so easy and other than having to order roll punches it really dosn't take anything special to install the kit. Following the video made it so easy and with the hints. The only modification that I would suggest to the video instructions is use a gallon plastic bag to catch the de-cocking lever springs instead of towel so you can see what your doing. Loved the tips and tricks and the careful descriptions of the proper installation of the smaller trigger and sear spring. Put 100 rnds downrange and works great. Really love how that double action pull feels now .....it is a lot less awkward. The lighter pull weight on the trigger in single action at 25 yards makes such a difference.
My gun still goes bang with solid primer strikes on my reloads (use CCI primers). Not an easy install, but the video REALLY helps. Also great time to do a deep clean. The trigger is significantly lighter; still the standard draw/slop, but much lighter. The double action is significantly improved and the single action is really light.
fits perfectly, super video, fast delivery, what more can you ask
Awesome results. Easy to install.
Everything was included and shipped quickly. The installation videos are as good as any I have seen. Good explanations and clear photography.
This kit, transformed my beretta much smoother trigger and all around performance. The video link was amazing
I installed the Mcarbo spring kit in my Beretta 92fs, late 1980’s build. The installation went ok but the sear spring replacement was difficult. Not as easy as shown on the video. After about 40 min of struggling I got it seated and all was fine from there. DA pull went from way over 12 lbs to 9.5 lbs with the 12 lb spring. And SA pull went from 6.2 to about 4.0 lbs. I did polish the hammer and sear but not as much as shown in the Mcarbo video. Overall I am happy with the results.
Installed this kit on my Girsan Regard and it fit perfectly. Took my stock single action trigger from 3.7 lbs to 2.4 lbs. Double went from 9 lbs to 6.9 lbs. used the 14 lb hammer spring. Really pretty simple with the video.
Super easy to add this into a 92F. I got a crisper and lighter trigger pull and used the 12# hammer spring with no issues with primer strikes. Another great product! This is about the 10th kit I’ve bought and installed from them across many makes of pistols. The videos are very helpful. Be sure to watch as they will walk you through step by step how to install and will give handy tips and tricks along the way. Keep up the great work!
Another gr8 kit and superb video instructions! My 4th kit (M60, RPC, Sccy) - You're helping me be a fairly adept smith...lol. Biggest hurdle with the Regard is the little spring on the right side de-cocking lever. Gotta depress detent while at same time capture spring end with lever. Otherwise very straight forward. Got about 8lb double action and 3lb single with 13# hammer spring. I hand-load & if primer strikes good, maybe try 12#. Thx again
Trigger weight on my Beretta 92FS from 8.7/5.5 lb dropped to 5.1/1.2 lb!!!!!!!
This kit, and the corresponding instruction video on YouTube, is terrific. The double-action is not longer a bear and is now shootable and the already good single-action is even better. I now feel more comfortable with this pistol than I did before. Well done MCARBO!
when I saw that it was supposed to reduce the trigger pull by 35% I wondered if that would help me like my 92fs compact again. It truly did. Could not believe the double action feel. Can keep sights on target while pulling all the way through the break. The instruction video was easy to follow. I have no idea how long it took me to complete because I enjoyed the proccess all the way through. I did not do the polishing. But was able to clean parts of her I've never seen. Very happy with the product and service. Thanks for helping me fall back in love with the 92fs.
Excellent results, fits 100 % perfect, thank you for the instruction video, could not of been done with out it! TAURUS guys their are some different institution details 1. Safety 2. Removing the hammer spring pin @ the bottom of clip! A little common sense with the video I had little problems!
After reviewing both the Beretta and Taurus disassemble/reassembly videos, the spring upgrade and trigger polish went without a hitch. The 15.5lb recoil spring and 12lb trigger spring were used. First range outing. Everything felt very nice and smooth. I don't have a trigger gauge, but trigger pull is noticeably lighter in DA/SA. First issue - FTF a couple times using CCI Blazer 115gr. I removed the 12lb trigger spring and added the 13lb trigger spring. At a bowling pin outing, firing was fine, but I got a couple stove pipes. Back to the range with my original 13lb spring and a Wolf 10lb spring with buffer. At 10 yards I tested the kit 15.5 recoil spring, the 13lb spring, and the 10lb spring with buffer. To my surprise, the 10lb spring and buffer gave me the tightest groups. Now this type of testing is all subjective and you mileage may vary. Overall, I am very pleased with the result. Not only that, learning new gunsmithing techniques was the bonus.
I had always loved the look of the beretta and a opportunity came up where I purchased a 92FS. I’m a 45 carrier but I couldn’t pass upthe deal. So their it sat in the safe until I had found this company. You made this Beretta come alive with this kit spring kit . Absolutely amazing ...... To this company and the owner again I can’t thank you enough for your dedication to detail in your parts and videos. - will be watching for new products :)
