The MCARBO M9 kit was very easy to install when following along with the video. Its a bit more involved than a CZ-75 spring kit install, but easier than a 1911. My only hiccup was a punch being slightly oversized, or the hammer block pin hole being slightly undersized, as the punch got stuck in the slide. (That was no fun, but not the fault of the kit.) Make sure your punches are to spec before trying to drive out a roll pin ;) . Good idea to clean and polish the innards when it is apart. This makes a world of difference. DA pull went from a gritty 11 lb 9 oz to 8 lb 4 oz, and SA from 5 lb 8 oz to 4 lb 8 oz. Still a hint of creep in SA, but I hope that improves with use. Excellent stuff, thanks guys!
Install was very easy as long as you follow the video. Could not be happier with results. Nice, smooth, and easy double action trigger press now. Highly recommended upgrade for any 92 owner.
The Pro trigger kit for the Beretta 92 is an outstanding upgrade form stock. 6.5# DA and 3.5# SA. Cleaned up the sear and trigger. All pins came out without any fuss. The G style safety and the sear spring were tricky but very doable. Great quality and nicely packaged. can't go wrong.
Bought the spring kit and stainless rod, got everything assembled!!! Also polished up, as your video suggested. Had a couple of spring mishaps, right after you mentioned it! Feels great!! Will be on the range this weekend. Only thing I might need to change is the actual trigger. Other than that, the whole package is amazing!!!
great kit, perfect trigger now that kit is installed
I watched the install video a couple times, and followed along, this was probably the best tutorial, and easiest upgrade install I've ever done, great parts, and great support. Well done you guys.
Very satisfied with the upgrade I recently made to my 92fs, thanks MCARBO! Would recommend!
This is an outstanding Kit. It lowers the trigger pull to a level that allows for more accuracy. Double action from above 11 lbs to 7.5 and Single Action from 8 lbs to 3.5. Slide is a lot smoother and cartridge extraction a lot better with most of the cartridges landing in the same place most of the time for better retrieveing.
Relatively easy to swap out the springs. Their video to perform the install was easy to understand and follow. The trigger pull after the springs were changed out is amazing. I would recommend this kit to anyone looking to gain a lighter pull.
This tune package is better than ones I have done in past on my other 92fs Berettas ....These boy’s are in tune with the works.....Sweet tune....when polished and using there spring/parts.... “AIRBORNE ALL THE WAY” Keep up the works & great videos....ROK
Far exceeded my expectations on quality and performance. Combined this kit with a Wilson Combat short reach trigger-AWESOME! Great instructional video link as well!
I wasn't sure about which upgrades I could have used for my 92 fs, so I did some research. I stumbled across this product and the video for it which was done very well. I won't be ashamed to admit the reason I bought this kit was for their great video. Install: went by well. I'm not Stanger to drifting out pins or assembly/disassembly to firearms or other items, but knowing tips m tricks from experienced people helps alot. I'd say the install from start to finish was around 2 hours, but I had a toddler I was keeping up with and taken time to polish sear and hammer. Performance: surprised is the only word I can say. The ease of double action and amazing break in single action, it does NOT feel like a 92fs anymore, but much better. The creep is all but gone. I've put about 50 rounds so far, now I gotta get use to shooting a whole new gun. Quality: all the springs bends and sizes were perfect match as OEM. As for longevity, well time will tell. I don't for see any issue.
I've had my Beretta for a hot minute and I'll tell ya that combat trigger pull is no joke. Installed the hammer spring, SERE spring, the steel guide rod these guys sell, and the spring for that and I'll tell ya, what a difference it makes. Just waiting to get my hands on a steel trigger and then I'll install the trigger spring. Even without it, its smooth like butter with the few installations I've made. Thanks MCarbo
I gave the Beretta 92 spring kit to my gunsmith and the pistol now functions smoother and easier just as they claim.
I followed you excellent installation video and had no problems. This kit really made my Beretta a pleasure to shoot. Very good quality springs. All of them fit just like the stock springs I took out. I took my time so it took me close to 4 hours to complete but that was with a couple breaks and lunch.
This was installed on my Beretta 92FS, made in Italy. Installation took a couple of hours but it was pretty smooth. The provided video walks you through the process really well. After installing the 12 pound spring and the rest of the springs, the trigger pull weight was reduced from 6.5 pounds to 4.5 pounds. Highly recommend.
