I have purchased parts from MCarbo in the past the quality is perfect fit and finish is great. I found adding these accessories a breeze especially with the videos Chris provides. I definitely plan to purchase additional accessories for my Sub 2000 through MCarbo!
I have a Sub2K with every retrofit part that M Carbo makes installed on it. What a difference it makes as the trigger pull is like butter now and overall the rifle is shoots great. I drove to M Carbo today and had my new M Carbo optic mount installed with a Sig Romeo 5 red dot, which turned out SWEET !!! what a precision made piece of gear ! The only other thing I wanted was the new buttstock pad and I had the great tech's install that also. Fit and finish on the Buttstock pad is fantastic as is the optic mount. Customer service at M Carbo either on the phone, by email or as today in person is great. Very friendly, helpful folks who really do give you excellent service with a GREAT attitude, these folks love what they do and it shows … everyone is "stoked" as Chris would say and they really are. Trust me on this if you have a Sub2K or other weapon that M Carbo makes parts for, you will not find higher quality anywhere and everything is made in the USA !! The whole business is a class operation from top to bottom. I can't wait to get to the range now and burn through a few hundred rounds with my " New " Sub2K.
Finally, a well-made buttstock pad for the Kel-Tec Sub2000 that is easily installed and really effective has been provided by M*CARBO. Super fast shipping. A bit pricey, but then you get what you pay for and there is no other good choice. Thanks M*CARBO for stepping up and addressing this long and much needed upgrade!

So since I have everything else M*CARBO offers for my Sub 2k I popped on this during the Memorial Day sale and am glad I did! The difference this pad makes in feel and stability is incredible. I have not shot it yet but can't wait to do so. I did have a hard time with installation however I made it work. Use a drill bit stop to keep from marring the polymer. Over all I am so happy I got this part! The black pad looks great contrasting with the tan polymer.
Better than the stock bare plastic buttstock, but not by much. The rubber pad is extremely firm and can barely be compressed, so the felt recoil isn't noticeably reduced. But the quality seems good and maybe it will soften with use.
The part fits great and performs EXACTLY as advertised. I was a little disappointed in the unintended consequence of slightly moving the holes for a perfect fit. The 1/4 inch bit easily hits the plastic on the stock. May not be a big deal on black, but the resulting scar looks terrible on the bronze.
I used to hate shooting this gun, bought the gun for the coolness factor. Now it’s my favorite go to. Buttstock is locked in secure and comfortable.
Tip for aligning holes that worked for me. Take one of your punches (1/8 preferably) and a simple paint pen (took one of my kids from school) - you can probably use some white out or something similar. Dab a little on the end of the punch tip, align the holes where they need to be and poke the punch through the holes to make the marks. Boom! Easy. Excellent upgrade.
Great design on the buttpad.I put mine in a vise for the install.I don't know if this has happened to others but I initially had a clearance problem with two of the locknuts being too close to the webbing material on the inside of the buttstock.It was hard to initially get the nuts on the screw and about halfway down until tight they were eating into the plastic.Nothing broke and I doubt those will ever come loose.No big deal,works as advertised.
Installation was easy as 1, 2, 3. Watch the video, get your favorite type tape to hold pad in place. Note: ice pop sticks work well to align the pad to the stock. Use 3. 2 sides 1 bottom. Drill slightly smaller & press the pad in place, secure nuts - be safe & have a great shoot.
This was a must for me without it the stock left bruises on my shoulder, easy installation, perfect fit.👍
Install went well, very nice but stock pad, haven’t had time to go to the range yet , my sub2k is getting sweeter every day.
