The butt pad made it very stable on my shoulder And help calm down the boat carrier group. Very good product
My only complaint is i wish it wasnt as hard plastic as it is. I would like to see it just having a little give so it absorbed shock a little more. Would I recommend this to other sub2k owners. Well absolutely I would
Awesome fitment, I added a 1/4" drill stop , so I would not mar the plastic stock. Set at 1/2" of drill exposed. Looks like I came on the gun. Thanks Brotherhood
Received earlier than expected. Installation is straightforward but video has very helpful tips. Installed easily with no adjustment needed. Much more comfortable against the shoulder than original buttplate surface and the slight increase in length improves the ease of sight alignment. Very pleased.
I'm not sure I will spend the money to send this back but I will not be installing it on my Sub2000. It causes many limitations for the full use of the gun. It may have been better to design a complete remake of the stock rather than this "pad". You can only use in the longest position, you can't fold the gun to snap. It's flat but not a pad. I am a product and process engineer so I think I will design my own and print it on my 3D resin printer in two different new Loctite resins so I can print the hard part that is designed to have a soft section that snaps in. I intend on creating clearances for all the Sub2000 functions. The current pad was trying to use what existed and I get that. Sometimes however, you need to just start over. The Keltec is a very nice carbine but the stock stinks... When I get the new one designed, I'll post a picture.
The four hex screws came stripped and the accompanying nuts would not thread on to them either. I therefore could not install the butt stock pad. Guess I should have checked the hardware before drilling the holes into the plastic stock. Have left a message requesting replacement hardware.
Really like the buttstock pad. However, installation was a bit of a pain. Including a template would really help.
Just a little upgrade with a lot to offer. It's the real deal don't think just buy
I watched the video before ordering this item. Received it timely, installed with no issues. It was not difficult to align too the butt stock, mark it and drill the holes to mount the butt pad. Makes holding the Sub 2000 more comfortable to the shoulder.
Great product! It was not hard to installed! More important, the CEO/Owner provides outstanding instructions for installation via videos for the majority of his products online. That tells me that he truly cares about his clients! Customer Service is the best I’ve seen around. Many companies can learn from this concept. I received the Buttstock Pad today, and installed it. The installation was very easy, and although I didn't time it, it probably only took me about 15 minutes. The combination of the Buttstock Pad and the M-Carbo taller front sight has made the Kel-Tec Sub 2000 a useable rifle for me. M-Carbo has "GOOD STUFF". jc
Just received the new butt stock for my Keltec Sub-2000 (40S&W) yesterday. Reviewed the installation video prior to the install and had no problems. I like the difference in the way the gun pulls up. Nice difference. At next opportunity I will get to the range and try out the new butt stock, the new muzzle brake and sight mount.
